In 2006, Suzanne studied makeup and later on joined prime makeup institute Kanebo Cosmetics in Tokyo. Her experience in Japan gave her experience and exposure and enabled her to set a high standard for her craft. Since then, Suzanne has continued to hone her skills in both makeup and skincare in Japan. She has also started conducting workshops and image enhancement seminars here in the Philippines.

Suzanne's rich experience allowed her to venture into bridal makeup, and she says that being in the wedding industry is a fulfilling challenge. "Brides-to-be are already glowing," Suzanne says. Keeping this in mind, Suzanne styles the bride while still allowing bride's natural beauty to shine through.

Instead of totally changing the bride's look on her wedding day, Suzanne enhances the bride's best features--this she does by doing her signature "barely there" makeup look. "In Japan, we have been trained the Asian way, and Japanese technique is best known for their no-makeup look, which most brides want to achieve now," Suzanne shares.

While Suzanne has mastered styling brides with barely-there makeup, she still recognizes the fact that some brides prefer more dramatic looks. To be on the same page as her clients, Suzanne makes an effort to get to know the brides first before deciding on a look for the wedding. Suzanne finds the best workaround to strike a balance between her clients' preferences and what she knows will work for them. As Suzanne establishes rapport with each client, she makes sure that every bride looks and feels her most beautiful on her wedding day.
