With an approach to beauty that is fresh, simple, and natural, makeup artist Rizza Mae Aganap celebrates all types of beauty. Her gallery of works feature women of various races, facial features, and ages. She's also conscious of the pressure women go through prior to their wedding and she knows her role doesn't just start on the day itself.

Rizza Mae finds fulfillment in beautifying brides-to-be and their entourage. As a crucial touch to the whole wedding, Rizza Mae takes into consideration the dresses, hair, and venue when she suggests a particular look. She's partial to using an airbrush kit for its sheer and flawless effect.

While Rizza Mae is currently focusing on bridal make-up, her love for makeup started when she was young, as she grew up fascinated with make-up. It amazed her that the right blend of neutrals and colors can transform plain Janes to pretty princesses. Captivated, she taught herself various beauty and artistic looks by voraciously consuming make-up tutorial videos and books and studying techniques from different ideas culled from the web. She applied what she learned on herself and in test make-up sessions with friends.

In 2012, Rizza Mae decided to professionalize her hobby. Investing her saved-up funds, she signed up for formal classes at a make-up school in Manila. This paid off well, and she soon started landing a series of print advertisements, television commericals, and stints for different occasions, like debuts, proms, and weddings

Armed with the knowledge that the transforming power of make-up affects a bride both outwardly and inwardly, she also doubles as a consultant, sharing beauty secrets weeks and months prior to the wedding. Whatever her brides' concerns, Rizza Mae is ready to listen and work her magic on them.
