Hi Everyone! 

We're looking for reviews sa mga choices namin for caterers and so far we're considering Densol's Catering  and La Dexies Catering.

Any reviews/feedback for these 2 caterers ? The food? I saw their styling sa FB page nila and it seems classy and unique.

Our main concern talaga is the food! Masarap ba? the serving: marami or tinitipid?

Hi sisses! 2019 bride here also! Grabe yung iba dito complete na suppliers ako less than a year venue pa lang nabook ko. hehe

Help naman sisses. May question ako about Okasyon by Anton. We're planning to book him na, I've read good reviews about him even a friend recommended him, kaya medyo na pa go na kami sa kanya pero parang hindi ako sure kung ganun ba talaga sila kabusy? Na kahit phone conversation hindi niya kami maaccomodate? We understand busy sila and madami sila booking pero we plan to get full coordination from them and napapaisip tuloy kami. Although sabi naman ni anton okay pa siya for full or maybe hindi lang siya ganon kainterested samin? Kasi first we asked for video conference kasi out of town pa kami til next 2 weeks and ang availability nya to meet is 3rd week pa ng july. So I asked him twice kung pwede ba kami magusap sa phone on different dates, pero di niya kami sinasagot dun? Parang one liner kung magreply sa fb chat ko. Nagpapahanap na tuloy si h2b ng ibang coord just in case.

^hi sis buchakikay - my advice is to move on. nothing against this coordinator, maybe the timing is off, but your COMFORT is of the utmost importance. Since you want full coordination services, you will be counting on this person for a lot of things throughout the planning process -- they need to be dependable and have a reasonable turn around time in responding (like 2-3 days if you do all the work by email), and agree to set calls.

I understand baka nga swamped sya sa work now, but he may very well deliver a good job to his clients when he is focused. Kaya lang it sets the tone for your comfort level... how can you ask him to "check on this" "pay this vendor" "thoughts on this invitation" and all the other trivial things you need to do, if you're always wondering bakit di sya nagrereply agad.. as for calls, hindi naman sya instant but at least be able to provide you reasonable options to schedule a video or telephone call.

If you want to give him a chance, perhaps you can send him a message and say "hey, Anton, if this medium (FB Messenger) is not working for you, is there any other way I can contact you so we can communicate better -- perhaps email or whatsapp?" and then try to see it from there.

A final thought: maraming reputable coordinators, he's not the only one-- nagkataon lang sya yung recommended ng personal circle mo. But trust your gut and your comfort level.. you will have weak moments and frustrating moments in the planning process so you need a coordinator who can catch you

^ +1 hehe if booking pa lang and you feel like their responsiveness is not enough for you, it won't hurt to look for other options talaga. Kailangan comfortable ka talaga especially if full coord ang kukunin mo. Coord nga namin OTD lang pero kapag may queries ako nasasagot nang maayos within several hours.

^Hi sis lalee888 and sis ohcmon thank you so much for your advice. I really appreciate it, nagkaroon na ko ng peace of mind. We will let him go and will find another coordinator. Meron ba kayo marerecommend? Hehe. I tried sending inquiries na to other event coord. Pero inaantay ko reply. Naexcite ako bigla. Kakastart ko pa lang kasi with my preps, kaya una ko naisip magbook agad ng coordinator.

Sis lalee888- You really made a lot of good points. Actually agree na agree ako sa mga sinabi mo, narealize ko din. I will be depending on my coordinator at most times during my wedding preps, so I really need someone who can be there, lalo na full coordination pa kami and most times wala ako sa Manila. And yes, nagkataon din na siya yung narerecommend sa circle ko kaya sa kanya na rin ako nagfocus. Pero yung peace of mind and comfort level andun dapat sa coordinator, kaya nga tayo naghire ng coordinator to take away the stress.

Sis ohcmon- Tama ka. Yun nga yung hinahanap ko sa coordinator yung comfortable ako sa kanya, yung click kame para yung ideas namin nagjive. Kaya I want to meet them muna before booking them, yan din gusto ni h2b.

In terms of recommendations - my wedding kasi is in Boracay so I chose a local coordinator. Honestly super happy ako kasi my wedding was moved because of the closure of Boracay and my coordinator sorted everything out so smoothly. Imagine that kind of stress.

Anyway when I considered other venues, the only other coordinator I considered is Rita Neri of RNEP. I highly recommend her -- she's a serious professional and does corporate event plannings, celebrity events, aside from wedding planning. When we spoke i felt so at ease, she was also very gracious in understanding when i declined our project together since I opted to go for a 'local' coordinator when i settled on boracay as my venue.

Check Rita Neri if you want (she has a website too) -- she's also very cheap. But understand that cheap/affordable is a relative measure. She quoted me Php 85k for full coordination (this was last year when she quoted me). To me that's cheap considering all my requirements and my situation (i'm foreign based and my coordinator is literally doing EVERYTHING for me). If your total wedding budget is 500k, baka 85k is steep, diba? Other than her, wala nako ma-recommend that's Manila-based. I can only recommend those I personally encountered kasi.

^^^ Will recommend my coordinator SMA Weddings and Beyond. Booked them 16 months prior my wedding and Sheena, the head coord, has been nothing but helpful. Kahit gabing gabi na 'ko mag message minsan, regardless how small my concern is, sasagot pa rin agad.

Mga sis! ask ko din sino nakapag wedding prep sa Meranti hotel along Tomas morato? Strict ba sila sa headcount? plan ko kasi dun.. or baka may masuggest kayo na spacious na hotel near qc.. na hndi strict sa headcount..

Hi Sis, I think the following mid-range suppliers offer good value for money if you're willing to spend a bit: Passion Cooks (catering and styling), Mel Orlina (Wedding gown with additional services), and Enderun (events place and catering.) How are wedding preps going?

Hi. I just got engaged last May. Pero now lang kami magstart prepare. We are planning to have the wedding March 2020 pa naman. Church is around taft area. Non nego kasi samin [textspeak!] church since dun kami nagmeet. Any reco for minimalist type? I personally wanted whitespace for 200 guests pero medyo mahal so naghahanap pa ako backup. Im eyeing  K by C for catering as well. Or have anyone tried The Loft at Rockwell?

Some for host and OTC a friend reco Erick Daquioag. May nakapagtry na ba saknaya? I know its too early pero planning kasi DIY para mas tipid and mas less stress hehe
