Hi guys!

My fiance and I just got engaged last December 9, and we're probably going to have a July 2019 wedding. I'm a bit clueless as to how to start the planning, and if I need to enlist full coordination services, especially as I saw your posts and you already have most of your suppliers booked.

I'm a bit scared that there wouldn't be enough time if we wait for the formal pamamanhikan to happen in April 2018 before we really start planning. What do you guys think?

Also, most of what I've read in the threads here point to mid- and high-level suppliers, and I'm assuming that most of you have budgets upwards of 800k. I feel tuloy that our 500k budget wouldn't be enough. It's a bit stressful na for me, even though we haven't really started planning.

Hi Sis, My budget is 500k too! though nung nag initial costing ako lalagpas ata so far Coordinator and church pa lang nabobook namin.

Our formal pamamanhikan will be on June naman haha so medyo similar tayo

Hi sis! Thanks for replying! We pushed Glass Garden na. hehe. At dahil nga dun need magbudget talaga ng mabuti. Sa ngayon I'm looking for photo+video package naman. My first choice is Dizonstudios kaso namamahalan si h2b 68k kasi. Then I came across Arvin Simbulan Photography and parang sya na yung bet ko!! Yung gusto kong package 40k lang, kaso he reminded me na plus 30% sa rate pag 2019 weddings Sayang sobrang mura na sana. Hahahahaha. Pero ang meron sa package na yun are 3 photographers and 3 videographers, prenup, prenup photo slideshow, growing up photo slideshow, coverage from preps to reception. Wala nga lang SDE ng photo and video pero para sakin okay lang since magbibigay naman sila ng copy diba? Hindi mo nga lang agad mapapakita hehe. You think it's a good deal? Ang ganda ng shots niya eh. Who was your p/v team btw?

Nahihirapan ako sa florists/stylists. Any recommendations? Tsaka yung sa entourage gowns and suits wala pa din kami. Was eyeing Paolo Blanco pero naghahanap pa ako ng mas mura pa sana.. May mga bad reviews ba kayo sa mga nakuha namin? Except for Hizons ah.. Kasi medyo madami na akong nabasa sa kanila.. Hehe! 😂

Uy events embassy rin ako. I got their full coord package. So far church pa lang nabobook namin though last week lang namin sila binook haha.
Ganda rin ng P/V mo. Kaso my budget is 75k lang sana for p/v and i know di pasok sa budget yang dalawa haha. We're eyeing Kreative Machines for video since nirecommend ni Cathy and mukhang okay naman gawa nya

Hi sis! Felicidad b2b here. We didn't book the all-in package din, we booked the venue separately and then booked an accredited caterer on our own. That way we were able to negotiate with more inclusions for the menu and exchanged the freebies we didn't like for something else.

Halos same lang din ang price with the all-in package because we booked Felicidad during a fair so we  got a discount.

I heard na okay naman yung Kroo Meals if you are a Tagaytay Bride. But you may also like Boxed Meals PH. Rates nila both range from 150-180/meal

Thanks sis! Nakapagdecide na kami ni h2b na di narin mag all-in package para kami mismo pipili ng suppliers. By next week magstart na kami magbook ng venue and p/v.. July2019 pa yung wedding namin kaya yung church July pa raw pwede ibook. At least 1 year daw. Haha yung caterer naman, nag inquire narin kami sa Hizons, josiahs, albergus, taverna catering.. then may Densol's catering din kami nakita, ang ganda nung styling nila as posted sa fb page nila, any idea about them?

Hi sis! Regarding p/v marami rin ako nacheck na mga 50-75k.. quality din naman. Try mo russel julio photography, trix dela cruz photography.. okay naman sila nung chineck ko.. and God's Grace Productions. Matunog sya sa previous brides sa ibang thread. Though may na book na ko na ibang p/v kasi di ko alam, nung nakita ko works nila, nafeel ko lang bigla na gusto ko sila kunin. Nagmatch lang sa taste ko and swak sa personality namin ni h2b. Haha parang ganun I can't explain. 😂

Hi Girls! I just attended bridal fair yesterday. Nakakahilo pala no and information overload. Nakakaloka yung mga suppliers haha. Anyway, have you heard of Eventist Manila? Sobrang active mag explain sakin nung isang coordinator maganda naman infairness nakaka enganyo. Marami din positive reviews sa FB nila when I checked. Kaso wala pa masyadong blogs about them sa ibang sites. I'm planning kasi na kunin either Imbitado events or Okasyon by Anton eh. And then napaisip ako sa Eventist Manila because of discounts and freebies nga sana. Pero ayun, ayaw ko lang sana magbase sa FB page nila which is marami talagang positive reviews. TIA.

hello ladies.. still SLOWLY progressing with wedding planning. Shortlisted 3 venues, hopefully we can reserve na this month.

But i'm having a fun time checking out the IG accounts of the caterers. Kitang-kita mo talaga yung styling aesthetics nila based on the pictures they post. I know that you can give them your pegs tapos gagawin nila, but it seems easier to dole out those instructions if 'natural' na sa kanila yung aesthetic na yun, that way if they 'deviate' a bit medyo kampante ka that you have the same eye on things.

That said, sumakit mata ko sa IG ng Hizon's. Parang ayaw ko na ituloy ang FT just basing it on that. Not to say that food isn't my priority, but since i dont have budget to for another events stylist, sana sulit naman yung package na kukunin ko for the food & reception styling. Am i being too judgmental this early pa lang? Mahal din ng gastos if mag-FT ako sa lahat ng caterer kaya ganito muna ako mag-filter

Hindi kasi talaga maganda styling ng hizons. Hahaha! Pero ang sabi kasi nung kausap ko sa venue, tutukan lang daw talaga sila kung anong style gusto mo para makuha mo gusto mo.

Partial lang kami sa kanila kasi nabook ko na lahat ng suppliers. Maganda feedback ng friend namin na sila din kinuha kaya nakampante na ako. Hehe! Naku, wala ako masyadong idea sa p/v. Ang ginawa kasi namin ni hubby is pinanood and tiningnan lang namin yung mga photos/sde nung mga nasa fair tapos dun kami namili. Haha! Para makabook na sa fair.

^ Hindi ko rin type styling ni Hizon's kaya hindi ko sila kinonsider. Sa FT sa fairs or grand FTs kami umaattend para libre. Though our caterer M Catering we booked without an FT, relied lang on W@W feedbacks and styling.

I agree that the styling is just as big a deal as food If you want classy aesthetics, check out K by Cunanan, para ka narin may basic stylist.

For Video we're looking at forevermine films. Out of budget siya pero kasi di ko gusto yung mga videographers na within budget ko huhuhu. Gusto ko sana yung may kilig factor for SDE

Hotel for prep venue na lang ang wala and still haven't decided on my ento's dresses as well as souvenirs. 'Yung mga gusto kong add-ons like LED wall etc saka na lang namin finalize 'pag kaya pa ng budget as the wedding date nears.

So far okay naman kausap lahat our suppliers. Sa rings lang kami nagpalit, nag down kami 2k kay Goldenhills sa fair and upon contemplation too expensive ang quotation nila for the rings we wanted. Baka pagawa ko na lang into something else 'yung 2k para hindi sayang.
