IDK If this is the right thread to rant about my wedding gown but I am a 2018 bride, specifically March 2018.

Timeline:

August 2017 - measurement taking
December 2017 - first fitting but moved to
January 2018 - first wk dapat, naging last week

He posted the gown on his personal FB last night before our supposed to be first fitting today. I have a feeling na akin yun because of the term he used on the caption na ginamit nya rin nung meeting namin, so I messaged him kaagad to send me pics and lo and behold, akin nga. Hindi ko matanggap. Ang layo sa design! Nakakaiyak. I specified no beads and lace kasi minimalist ang theme ko but tinadtad nya ng beading ang top and back details. He said he did that to balance the plain skirt daw. Pero yun nga ang goal eh, simple gown. Minimalist.

Pinakita ko sa close friends and MOHs ko kung okay, puro nega comment nila. Ako rin eh. So buti na lang direct to the point si designer na kung ayoko ng top, papalitan nila.

So moved to next wk uli ang first fitting ko. Less than two months na lang. Parang gusto ko magpalit ng supplier dahil napagtanungan ko yung simpleng maybahay lang na mananahi sa amin, mura by 5x ang presyo nya. Kung sa kanya ako papatahi, mas makakamura pa ako kesa sa ibabayad kong full sa kanya. Now, IDK what to do. If I should see and fit the gown pa rin. Kasi sobrang layo sa dream gown ko. I cant believe I am posting this now because I trusted my supplier 100% dahil ang gaganda ng gawa nya. Di nya lang siguro forte ang minimalist gown pero I asked him before kung nakagawa na sya ng ganun, oo daw eh.

Hi 2018 Brides! Quick question lang, sino sainyo ang nakapagpa book ng Linden Suites for their wedding prep?

Just wanted to ask talaga bang hinihingi nila yung buong details ng Credit Card and sila na mismo ang magchacharge on their end? First time ko kasi mag book sa kanila and they were asking for the CC info and it was stated in their policy na sila na daw ang magchacharge using our CC credentials.

Yung MIL to be ko kasi yung magbabayad and she's not comfortable to provide the details and di ko naman masabi kung that's how it is?

Hi sisters.  Dec 2018 bride to be here.  I need your help!  Wala pa ako makita na gagawa ng brides maid dresses ko!    I hope you can recommend someone good that won't break the bank.  I'm not into RTW and infinity.  I have a specific design in mind.   I hope you can help.

I had a bad experience with fullblooms by inah. Saw that she had good reviews from past threads so I tried to book her pero I think nagbago na. Super hindi na responsive. 2 weeks na ko naghihintay ng response at nagcall pa ako to follow up. I was told na titingnan daw nila yung message ko after their event that day but wala pa din. I tried to reach out to another supplier, Blessie?s Everlasting flowers, since I saw din na ok reviews here sa GT. super bilis magrespond and very warm. Mabilis siya at maayos kausap. Recommended din siya ng coordinator ko. I tried sending a message to her nang almost 12am and expected na magrrespond siya the day after na pero she accommodated me agad in a few minutes.

Hello 2018 Brides. 
My wedding is on December kaso wala pa akong church and Reception Venue.  My original plan is Valle Verde 5 kasi magkalapit ang church and social hall kaso wala akong kakilala na taga VV5.  Anyone na may kakilala na pwede mag sponsor?  hehe I know it's a big deal but I hope you can help me with this.  O kaya naman any other suggestions na venue near ortigas Avenue na hindi mahal?  Max budget for Venue is 20k.

Good choice ang mga clubhouse. Acropolis clubhouse, Corinthian Gardens clubhouse, One Shangrila Place, St. Francis Shangrila Place, lahat mura lang basta may sponsor/ owner. Saved 150k for birthday venue kesa nagbook pa ako ng events place like blue leaf.

I'm 2018 Bride po. Just want to ask if okay si Manila Wedding Strings. If you have heard them before. And ngayon am worried if the in-house hotel sound system is fine and would meet their sound requirements. It would be too costly na to outsource sounds.

I am a June Bride,, meron na akong hall na nabook for our wedding and reception which is 10 mins or less away kung san kami ikakasal... Ang problem ko na lang is yung hotel ko. Any recco sa Novaliches area? Ang nahanap ko pa lang is Microtel sa UP Technohub, their 2 rooms for wedding preps is 25k na, kasama na yung photo fee. Hindi ko alam kung mahal ba 'to o mura.

Not sure what is within your budget but Raza Formal Wear does really good designs based on your pegs, the seams are on point! Apartment8Clothing is also good, they do custom dresses, but i find them a bit overpriced (i think because of marketing expenses). Also found Mixsupetranlabel who is still affordable but very elegant and tasteful. Then Janna Katipunan Atelier -- a gem designer who has impeccable work and design but charges reasonably pa! I think she will start charging more soon tho kasi ang ganda talaga!

Nasstress na ako since 4 mos. away nalang and wedding ko na and suddenly the venue that i've booked which is Teatrillo in Intramuros called my uncle saying that they'll be renovating the place and my venue would be moved to Casa Blanca na, I really dont like the place. Nakakaloka na talaga. I'm turning into one of those bridezilla na ata. Kasi I have always pictured that place since vintage classic ang theme that im aiming and pasok sa budget namin ni h2b.

Wow sis that's so stressful. Ask them for other recommended venues around Intramuros, super dami dyan. Di naman peak month ang July so im sure meron pa available.
