I agree ako kay MC na management nya pinapatungkulan nya.

I doubt sa fans. She has always been thankful sa support ng SMU and ADN, kahit na minsan yung ibang ADN wala na sa wisyo. In fairness, marami pa ring ADN na nagstay despite of what happened. Amazing!

Paano ba naman kasi, 2 years na sya sa showbiz yet IYAM pa lang ang masasabi mo na matinong project na nagawa nya. Tapos itong 2nd movie nila nadelay pa (though matutuloy naman daw).

Ako lang ba pero kung hindi nag-iingay tayong fans di magkakaroon ng projects si Meng. Tingin lang kasi sa kanya (M) purely cash cow - puro endorsements LANG at walang initiative for her growth as an individual/artist. Just my two cents.

I don't follow Maine so much anymore, but I still do admire her as a person. Ang brave nya for posting that open letter. Sobra! I cant think of any other artists who'd do the same and be eloquent and not rude about it at the same time. She's such a rarity. Sana talaga ihone pa sya ng APT, though minsan nakakawalan nga ng pagasa. Mukhang happy na sila sa kanilang cash cow for the moment. I do hope lumipat sya ng ABS. Although that's not likely to happen, libre naman mangarap. Hehe I wish her well. Last year pa lang, mafeel mo naman talagang hanggang dun na lang sila ni Alden sa team reel. Madami lang siguro talagang ilusyonadong fans.

As much as I really don't like ABS (nor GMA pero lesser evil than ABS politics and interests), Mas bagay si Maine sa ABS. Ngayon ko lang nagets talaga kung bakit sumisikat ng husto pag ABS talent, kasi iba ang pag handle ng management. Sa APT and GMA, napaka jologs at babaw ng mga staff nila like Rams David etc.

Not a fan of Aldub but a fan of Maine. I like her personality kasi, hindi plastic.

After reading the letter, I think mas yung fans yung tinutukoy niya. Masyado kasing entitled ang ibang fans nila ni Alden, nasasakal siya. Kaya nalilimit yung growth niya as an artist kasi gusto ng fans si Alden lang lagi kasama, parang ginagawa silang packaged deal. I think Maine can be a versatile artist if she is given the freedom to choose her own path. Mas comedy kasi siya eh, kasi witty. Pwede siyang maging girl version ni Bitoy, mas wholesome na version.

I hope her aldub fans would love her as Maine not as half of Aldub. Huwag din sana ipilit yung sila ni Alden, personal life niya na yun, wala na ang fans doon.

I mean sis the letter is more for the demanding / controlling fans, and yung part na "akala ko nagmamalasakit..." is for her management or yung mga taong nakapaligid sa kanya, as she stated on her letter.

It has been a repetitive pattern that you always do pasabog stuff whenever you become choked with issues that you yourself created. Haven?t you thought it might be signs that God keeps on leading you to the right path but you keep on wanting to go on the other not so good direction???

A decade from now when you are more mature I wonder how you will feel with your impulsive action of dumping and hurting so many people who love and supported you in snap for FREEDOM leaving them in misery and tears. Twenty years from now you will realize for sure how stupid, immature and selfish your once 22 year old self. 

For now it might always look like you are a heroine applauded especially by non fans for being brave and standing up on your beliefs for the sole purpose of yourself alone.  Heroine that is well being cared of by a management at least from your point of view because you enjoy the company yet a mgt. who doesn?t believe in PR and always leaves you to defend and create more chaos yourself. Think about it. You are still a business.

You keep saying you are not afraid to lose everything yet you ask fans to support your appearances, buy your endorsed products, magazines and even your book which became best seller with fans lining up as early as midnight plus supporting the movies wherein you and Alden are mere extras. 

You are not after fame and money when you know the very fact it is what being artista is all about - Fame and Money. Your secret ultimate dream, right? The lifeline of being artista is having fans. Kung walang fans walang artista. Where is the said freedom that you are shouting repeatedly in your letter enters in showbiz equation? NONE because showbiz is STAR+FANS. The mechanics of the industry won?t change and will never change.

If you think writing the letter is your passes to do anything you want - the FREEDOM per se then you are more wrong. You can?t have your cake and eat it too. Life is not about you and you alone.       
As long as you are in the industry you need to sink yourself in a Barbie world you terribly hate but you yourself already had become months or maybe years with that admission that there is no us. Aldub is no different from other manufactured LT then that you and Alden always brag na naiiba kayo kasi totoo kayo. It only means you and your mgt agreed to play with people?s feelings for so long for the sake of money and business.   

The very first reason I admired you because you are an introvert. An inspiration to the introvert community but somewhat that introvert that you still very vocal about becomes questionable now to many to believe with your recent actions. Your eyes are definitely looked drugged in that pic with VG kaya sana alam mo ang mga sinasamahan mo. Try your best in the company of good and inspiring people with clean intentions. Maybe go on retreat, pray and re-align your soul and purpose. With great power comes great responsibility. There is nothing wrong wanting to be out of the box because you feel nasasakal ka but you can do it a better way without hurting so many people in a snap to the point that may na heart attack and may nag suicide and hope the numbers will not grow. Be yourself BUT be your BETTER self.

^LOL. They weren't making a fool out of their fans, it's the fans who assumed there is something between them. Never naman sila umamin na sila na. THat's why Maine is now telling everyone the truth, friends lang sila. Huwag na ipilit. Fans don't have the right to interfere with their fave celebrities' personal life. Sakanila na yun, ibalato na dapat kay Maine yun.

^I wouldn't blame it totally on the fans. They may have not said exactly what their status are but their non-verbal actions led the fans to believe they have something going on. Kikiligin ba sila kung wala silang pinapakita? There were many instances they were asked ano ba sila? Pinatagal nila, pinahinog. Then finally decided today's the day to be brave and admit what they truly are. Sinulat na lang sana niya sa libro niya.

Sorry, I jut felt sad for my mom who I caught shedding a tear after reading her blog. She's one who kept the faith for these two. Real story. Honest to God!

Kaya she made it clear na para, black and white.  So I wouldn't blame her too. And besides it's all on TV, love team sila so normal na maging extra sweet sila sa isa't isa, but that doesn't mean na sila na. Fan service lang yun. I can understand your mom's hurt pero kawawa naman din ni Maine kung magagalit ang tao sakaniya dahil nagpakatotoo siya.

Panahon pa nina Guy and Pip, ang mga loveteams hindi talaga sila in real life. It's not called business for nothing. Ikaw na dapat magpaliwanan sa mother mo not to take everything especially in showbiz too seriously. Otherwise, palagi na lang syang iiyak. Hindi sila ang never naging sila and probably hindi magiging sila. And tell her to move on. I think that is easier kesa ipagpilitan nyo sa artista na dapat maging sila.

I felt sad reading Maine's tweet. Kasi naman yung ibang fans, nanggi-guilt trip. Kesyo may nagseself-harm dahil lang sa friends at reel lang ang dalawa. It has gone overboard and hindi kasalanan ni Meng kung suicidal ang iba. My goodness! Kaloka! May kanya-kanya tayong puso at utak.

Ang wish ko now for Maine is to have a peace of mind and face the consequences of her actions. Kung pwede wag muna sya magpakita sa EB ng 2-3 months. She needs the guidance from TRUE FRIENDS and FAMILY.

I'm positive na malalagpasan nya ang lahat ng ito. May kapalit na magandang bagay or pangyayari after this.

Day 2, my mom woke up angry naman kay Alden. Mahirap din makipag-palitan ng opinion to someone who 1. already upset 2. biased 3. fixated on a certain story. So I'll just be an ear for her for now.

On Maine, most fans are for her. Mas maraming naaawa sa kanya at magtatanggol. I hope she recognizes more of that and interact with them. Sana ang visibility niya online are more good vibes. If she wants one, it has to start with her.  Reactive lang naman ang fans. Good vibes aura niya, good vibes fans niya. Kapag may 'dinosaur' siya, lahat worried sa kanya. Galit siya, lahat galit din. May i-promote siya, bibilhin nila! So not sure why she feels she lives in a box. She has done whatever she wants and no one stopped her from doing it.

She may be the Queen of Social Media but she's resigned from taking a part of it. If she's unable to handle the noise, better siguro either stay out of Social Media or filter niya accounts niya.

This girl seriously needs a change of handler/management na magpapayo sa kanya how to deal with showbiz. Currently yung mga kasama niya sila pa nagsisimula mag-taray sa fans online eh. Hawa-hawa na. Leash ba sila, Buntot o Kamay ni Maine? On times she feels lost sana may quick number siya matawagan to know what to do.
