Going to Singapore din in august. By the way, San maganda magpapalit ng money, peso to sg dollars? Mas okay ba dito sa po as or pagdating nalang sa Singapore?

. Tsaka may nakapagtry na ba magrent ng stroller sa singapore? Baka kasi hassle sa airport if I have to bring our own stroller..

If you can get PHP to SG here sa PH, its good if you can get 1 SGD for 35. I found one kase. Coz if you go to SG, the best rate would probably be in the 36php to 1 SGD.
I also think I get more bang for my buck if I do USD to SGD, but that also depends how much you got your USD for. imo its better to bring USD than PHP, due to the flexibility of USD

And please bear in mind that they all have different change pala. I really dont recommend changing at all sa hotel. It's super low =_= Unless you're changing sa top floor sa MBS Mall, but even then, you can get better rates sa Lucky Plaza.

This is based on my experience Just remember na cents lang yung difference but the difference can be as much as 9 SGD cents per USD (hotel vs lucky plaza) Thats already 1 SG dollar if you change at least 10 USD. (yes, I did my nitty gritty calculations)

Okay din rates sa Sanry's, sisses. Mas malulugi kayo if PhP > USD > SGD ang gagawin dahil sa sobrang mahal ng USD ngayon so mas okay pa na diretso PhP > SGD na lang.

^ umm I just found it in a local currency changer 1 km from my house. hehe. I got 500 SGD worth, and they sold the SGD for 35php each lang. I did a calculation (you need to shop around for rates ha, and everyday nagchange din)
Try mo, lets say 50 php = 1 USD = 1.35 SGD (conservative estimate) 
Pero if I have 48.60 PHP thats equivalent to 1.35 SGD (if the exchange rate is 36 PHP)
So I would recommend going the peso route then. Take note that buying and selling rates are also different so be careful. hehe
Hanapin mo yung changers sa Lucky plaza yung mga nakasabi na "No Commission" lol. Pero still ask, compare and one instance I was able to haggle the indian man lols! (not guaranteed, lalo na may indicated na prices)

I made my own calculations/formulas sa Microsoft Excel. Just bear in mind na hindi ganun nga common yung PHP na currency exchange.

Give or take a few cents And there are also money changers with bigger value if you exchange bigger USD bills (50 and 100) compared to changing $1, $5, etc. Good luck!!!

Basta my general tip is no to hotels and change rates sa amusement parks. sobrang baba. baba din sa airport last check ko.. yun nga lang convenient... and if you're staying far from the good money changers, nagasto pa yung effort, taxi/bus/mrt so patas lang hahaha (ako walang pake kase unli yung bus and MRT ko! you might want to look into that as well)

hi sisses question lang. whats the cheapest and most convenient way to travel back to SG from legoland. may kid kasi kami kasama so i think hindi convenient na mag bus na 3 rides, back to larkin, then larkin to sg. nagcheck ako sa klook, 900 per person 1 way? not sure why ganun yung price nya. hope someone can help and provide info. thanks

Actually sis, the 3 transfer is mandatory because from SG:

1.  The bus will take you to woodsland check point (Immigration leaving SG)
2.   After woodsland immig, a bus will take you to the malaysian border (crossing the sg-my bridge)
3.  Then malaysian local bus towards to Legoland.

Above is the public transportation which is the cheapest.  You can also opt for taxi after malaysian immigration, mura lang naman ang taxi to legoland.

Another option is you can take the coach bus from WTS which means, it will take you to both immigrations and onto Legoland.  This bus leaves from Singapore Flyer.

i.m.o di convenient magbus due to getting on and off the bus and lining up for immigration..okay lang if you didnt bring a lot of stuff,dont have a lot of kids or you're just returning same day.

I opted for private car..its the most convenient talaga..sa first option we travelled sa tuas checkpoint instead mas malayo pero lesser traffic...lalo na morning..then pabalik woodlands mas malapit pero kaloka ang traffic..plus na.hold pa kami sa immigration..
wala na pila2 and alight sa immigration, drivethru nalang. Pero it set us back by 3k per trip...HUGE difference from $SGD 3 ata sa bus. Pero i.m.o convenient kase pickup anywhere in SG and drop off anywhere in Malaysia. (not sure if option yun na drop off sa KL hahaha grabe 6hrs) Naghotel and overnight kami sa JB with Legoland and hello kitty. IMO hindi kaya if waterpark+legoland main+hello kitty in one day (or dami kang ma.miss) then go home same day. hehe

may taxi naman sis or yung bus.You can take a taxi going to the bus area, or taxi to the taxi area pwede rin yung private car. I heard taxi kase they wont do the immigration thing for you..go down ka talaga and do everything on your own, but they can guide you..siguro minus bringing your stuff around..private car kase naging drive thru lang yung immigration namin. tamad kase ako plus dami ko binili ayoko magdrag2 sa immig ng stuff and moving around.

tbh, out of 3 JB taxi drivers  (in JB lang ha) 2/3 I did not like. Parang pinas lang hahaha.maldito yung isa kase kahit sabi namin metered, ginawang flat rate. yung isa naman flirt na unprofessional. Unlike SG na mabait lahat driver namin...

It's not that bad though, arte lang ako, spoiled sa SG hehe

HI sis. Bali yung SG to JB, namin day 1 direct from airport. May contact na ako. Gabi na kasi dating namin. So next day na  yung legoland. Now after ng Legoland, yung yung balik SG. Any rough estimate sis kung rent private car/taxi all the way to any point in SG?

Just got home from SG. I love their transportation super convenient. How i wish we could have that kind of transportation here in the Philippines.(dream on!) Small country but a lot to offer.

Dati long time ago we would always get a taxi from JB City Square to SG. Kasi may stroller kami maliit pa panganay namin.
And parang private car lang kasi nagda-drive through lang kami sa immigration. We didn't alight the taxi anymore. Very convenient.

I don't know kung hindi na ba ganun ngayon?

But nung nagkaron na ng connection from immigration to JB, nagbbus na lang kami and besides malaki na anak namin.

^ I thought the same too, but chinika kami ng SG airport taxi driver sabi niya mas cheap daw magtaxi kesa private car I forgot not more than 35SGD per person siguro.. (correct me if I'm wrong) But he said na they will not do the immigration for us, they will only assist like where to line, look after our stuff, etc. And anyways apat kami it doesnt make sense na 140 SGD then taxi then baba pa kami myghed so we went with private car nalang may guarantee na no alight hehe and we didnt alight talaga.

@smile22 100SGD sis one way. Then malaki car like we got a Toyota Alphard (unintentionally)

^hi sis thank you. naverify ko na dun sa contact ko. 80SGD kami (2 adults 1 kid) from Changi to Larkin. Then 60SGD from Larkin to SG hotel. I've also verified with him na no need to go down the immigration pag nakataxi. This is very convenient for us especially my kid kami.

^yeah ganyan naman talaga pag taxi kaya nga i was surprised to learn na accdg to the taxi driver our sis talked to eh kelangan pa daw bumaba ng taxi pag dadaan ng immigration. Kasi based from experience before, no need na.
