Best Liquid/Cream Foundation (thread 20)

Wanted to try the Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able but sadly hindi sya locally available. Sana pala tumingin ako when we went to SG last Nov..

Based on some Youtube videos I've watched, maganda ang coverage and a little amount goes a loooong way. To those who have it, okay ba sya sa oily skin and sa weather natin na super humid? How does it compare to the famous ELDW?

Parang gusto ko na I-try si ELDW pero parang mas maganda si MJ re(marc)able...

Joining... :D  I recently bought laneige bb cushion no. 11 since maputi ako.  I stayed longer than intended because of the color selection and i wanted to see the staying power on my forehead.  Coverage is good, and i like that i don't have to use a makeup brush to spread it out.

Marc Jacobs is really good but IMO, it doesnt work for people who have dry skin (like mine ngayon). It ended up cakey and it clung on my dry patches. Pero coverage wise, wala talagang katulad. 1 dot lang, cover na isang side ng cheek ko.

Right now Im loving Too Faced Born This Way foundation. I also want to try NARS Sheer Glow. Daming magandang review.

Re: Marc Jacobs: full coverage siya and very light. Okay talaga siya. Di rin humuhulas. Medyo 8 hours befor ako mag-oil up sa tzone area. :)

Want to try the Dior Forever next kaso hindi siya cruelty free. :( Pero nakakatempt hehe And yung Gucci Satin Matte ba yun. I think it's new.

Kat Von D's Lock-It Foundation is my favorite.

Its great for oily skin and it lasts all day. I've worn it in long hours at a shoot -- did not budge at all. It is full coverage that sometimes I don't need concealers after using this.

The only annoying thing about this is that it dries on the skin pretty quickly, so you have to move fast. I find that a stippling brush works better for this, and just go over it with a Beauty Blender if you want to take a bit off.

When I don't feel like having a matte look, I mix a tiny bit of this with a lighter foundation, like L'Oreal's True Match Super-Blendable foundation

Na try ko na rin at last yung ELDW and mukhang ito na magiging favorite foundation ko. Siguro nakuha ko lang talaga exact shade ko which is 1w1 Bone. Hindi sya humuhulas and dewy tingnan. I mix it with moisturizer rin bago ilagay kaya siguro dewy effect.

^Same here sis. ELDW is my new favorite. I tried so hard to like the Marc Jacobs Remarcable kasi ang mahal niya but it's not really suitable for my skin type (dry). Im in the shade Desert Beige in ELDW and among all my foundations, ito talaga ang pinaka-match (Im NC25 in MAC).

Been using Marc Jacobs for some time and agree that it can accentuate the dry patches in the skin. I ended up buying a new primer (MUFE Step 1, Hydrating variant) and it felt better. Pero Im switching back to my MAC Studio Fix Watertight kasi gusto ko lang ng medyo natural and dewy effect. Hmmm. Im tempted to try ELDW.
I don't need easy. I just need possible.

i tried MAC studio fix, MAC face and body, NARS ADL and ELDW. Si face and body ang pinaka di ko nagustuhan. watery sya na ang bilis humulas. pinakagusto ko si ELDW, nagsstay in place talaga sya haha! long-wearing, walang hulas, sweat proof, hindi nagooxidize sakin pero eto kasi plakadong-plakado na parang semento levelzzz ang feels ng face ko pag gamit to. medyo mabigat sa face e haha! eto din yung pag gamit ko halatang nag foundation ako, di sya natural looking or dewy. mas bet ko naman to kesa sa hulas agad. ;D

^Maybe you can try the light version of ELDW.  I didn't like the original version of ELDW either pero itong light version, it's my HG along with Kate Powderless.

ELDW used to be my everyday foundation, super HG ko siya next to Revlon Colorstay. Perfect for our humid weather and for super oily face. Not until I tried Max Factor's Facefinity liquid foundation. It's still matte and last all day, but without the heavy feel. If I have to describe it, it's velvety matte.   Magaan sa face unlike ELDW and Revlon.

Kaya ngayon, for special occasions na lang si ELDW and for days na I need my foundation to last literally all day, yung tipong hindi dapat mabubura not unless I remove it with makeup remover na. Haha  ;D

Anyone tried Covergirl Outlast?

Current favorite ko iyong Too Faced Born This Way Liquid Foundation. I also want to try Bobbi Brown's Intensive Skin Serum Foundation next.

Girls, any recommendation for flash-photo friendly foundations? I wore my ELDW and meron flashback but I think fault ko yun kasi the moisturizer I used has SPF. Just wondering if there are any other foundation that's good for evening events na flash photography.

sis try mo gamitan ng mattifying primer.  I use the Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector and Houglass.  wala akong flashback sa mga photos ko.

Shiseido Sun protect primer (blue plastic bottle) - all-day wear, super water and sweat-proof sya sakin, plus it has spf 43, great for those who get a lot of sun-exposure, and works quite well for for sports and beach. My skin looked almost perfect when I matched it with the old formula of MAC primer, too bad it has been discontinued, so I just match it now with shiseido sunblock.
(php1,700 - price reference for those who might ask)

I also like ELDW (Estee Lauder Double Wear, for those who might not be familiar with it) - if you got the right shade match, it's absolutely nice, it gives me a very fresh look, just be very sure Lang really get the right shade, my 1st bottle was Warm Vanilla, it looks natural on me, but Sand was stunning, I always get compliments. The only thing about this is, it has vitamin E, which makes my skin oily huhu, but I like it nonetheless

^ What's the difference of Warm Vanilla and Sand to you, sis? I want to try Warm Vanilla kasi. Is it warmer than sand?

Thank you sisses! I will try your recommendations. :)

I also ordered the Dermacol Makeup Cover foundation #218. It was supposed to arrive today but there was a problem during shipping so di ko alam kung kelan na darating. I follow The Taylaa on YT and Best of 2016 foundation nya 'to. Dami ko rin kasing acne marks na kailangan i-cover so I thought I'd try this as well. Ive been on a foundation spree lately. Puro foundation ang binibili ko. Lol.
