I think it depends na talaga sa inyo, and if kaya ninyo mag-stand up for your choice No matter what you choose, just make sure na happy kayo sa choice ninyo.

In my case, pareho kaming galing probinsiya but we met sa Manila. Manila was an option pero hindi ganoon ka-tindi. Syempre for my parents, dapat sa hometown ko. Si fiance, okay naman siya sa decision na iyon. Sa totoo lang, may part din sa akin na ayaw na makipag-argue pa kaya hindi ko pinush ang Manila wedding (plus, ang mahal pa, hahaha)

Hello everyone, I'm also a 2018 bride. The boyfriend recently proposed (on our anniversary) and we're thinking of having a quirky, intimate (40-60 guests) wedding next year, probably also on our anniversary or before my birthday in July. It has to be next year because we're also planning to migrate immediately after. Been reading a lot of the threads here and my oh my I am so overwhelmed. I'm starting to think that a year of preparation won't be enough even if we're having a small one. We're even starting to explore the thought of having an even more intimate one with 10 guests or less and then just hold the "barangay"-levels wedding maybe after three years or once we're settled overseas. Wish us luck T.T

In our case, I am from Batangas while he's from Bataan pero dahil first out of town namin sa Tagaytay, doon yung church wedding namin next year.

When you dream of having a wedding in tagaytay with very limited budget, pinakamahirap for us maghanap ng venue na pasok sa kapiranggot na budget. The most we can go is 40k pero so far ang choices namin ay napaka limited like Casino Filipino, Pacific Heights and Veritas Hall for venue alone tapos Balay Indang, Royale Tagaytay and KC Hillcrest for venue+cater.

Sisiw na sa paghahanap ng ibang suppliers pero dito sa venue, nakakaloka. Ilang months na kami nag search ng nag search. Okay na sana si Casino Filipino pero grabe naman kausap mga tao dun, para bang utang na loob mo pa mag-event. Ni walang reply, hindi sumasagot ng tawag considering na from overseas pa 'ko tumatawag. They're really pissing me off pero I keep my calm kasi baka nga doon maging venue namin and I don't want to ruin things pero hello naman, where's the professionalism? Hindi naba uso yun?

Exactly 8 months to go for us! Nakaka-excite although matagal pa naman, pero sana lang makahanap na talaga kami ng pasok na reception venue.

^I feel you sis. Venue din kami nahihirapan maghanap ng coord ko. Working on a budget kasi ako. Yung venue na suited for my guest number, out og budget. Yung pasok sa budget, bitin naman. Hindi ko tuloy ma-book ang church dahil wala pa ko mahanap na venue. I am eyeing St. James in Ayala Alabang.

^Ditto din. Venue yung hindi nagpatulog sakin ng ilang weeks. Lol. Didn't expect na ganun ang presyo ng mga venues in Tagaytay. But then we already booked our church which is Caleruega so we decided to push through na lang din. In the end, we picked the one that we really liked kahit medyo lampas sa initial budget.

Btw, we're giving up our reservation for Juan Carlo. Per our AE we can transfer it but subject for availability as well. Anyone interested? It's good for 150pax (Uno Package) with upgraded setup and freebies. PM me

Hi sis yn061515! i feel you on this kasi budget wedding kami and overseas din ako (hashtag Team Abroad) 
last week nag email blast ako sa mga venues para ma-visit namin this August pag balik ko ng Manila, included ang Casino Filipino Tagaytay. may isang review akong nabasa na mukhang luma daw pero mura kasi, less than 20k so naisip namin go na and mag extra na lang for styling. nag email ako kaso walang reply until now.

meron isang venue na nakita ko through Bride Worthy website, in-email ko yung provided na email add dun sa website. after a few days nag reply 'please call 09XXXXX'... aba number lang kahit sinabi kong i'm based overseas, ang lagay long distance pa? so sabi ni H2b ekis na daw yan pag ganyan since baka di rin interesado mag entertain. haha.

^ yes sis, luma talaga si Casino Filipino pero sa 12k fee, I can invest on quality stylist pa. Currently negotiating with Blooming Hobby and okay yung quote nila sa amin. The place has its own beauty na kailangan lang siguro ienhance through styling. Ang peg kasi namin same ng kay Krystal Belo, so I think the grand ballroom is perfect for us. They replied na btw. Na-happy na 'ko at napanatag hihi.

Naisip rin namin ni H2B mag DJ kaya lang hindi priority haha i think kaya naman na yan ng mag-man sa sound and lights, siguro bigay mo lang instruction, or yung program and naka indicate doon kelan ipplay yung preferred song mo. or sa wedding coordinator mo ihabilin

Hala grabe mga sissy! Napressure ako bigla. Yung iba December 2018 pa yung wedding mga nakabook na! Ako ni isa wala pa. March 17, 2018 kami.  Nafeel ko bigla na need ko na magbook ng magbook. BTW, looking ako for Half-wedding coordinators. Any recommendations? Imbitado Events-good yung reviews nila pero HINDI na sila available. Kaloka.  Yung La Belle Fete Weddings & Events naman, gustong gusto ko sila pero ang mahal. Not sure lang, additional question.. magkano ba average rate ng coordinators? wala ako idea eh.

Got them for full coordination and sila palang and their p/v team ang booked supplier ko. Inuna ko talaga coord kasi ayoko ma-stress masyado sa preps since LDR kami ni H2B.

So far ok naman sila. No problems arise yet.

Try mo sila, coz mukhang okay naman, smooth ang wedding nung friend ko.

^grmcstll - Magkasunod tayo sis! Saan wedding mo? Hehe, March 18, 2018 naman ako, Tagaytay wedding pero were more than half way done sa pag book ng suppliers. So detailing na kami after. The pressure is on! Kaya mo yan sis!! Hehe. Regarding OTD, normal rates ng OTD is from 15-25K based sa mga napag inquire-an ko when I was still looking for my OTD, you can try my OTD coord Stat Events and Trends (they are tagaytay/cavite based) no otf fee. 20K rate nila when I got them late last year I had a freebie its either a magnetic photobooth for 3 hours or Professional host or many more to choose from. Hehe. so far so good sila sakin kasi parang hindi lang OTD ang binook ko sakanila kasi they get to answer my inquiries naman pag need ko ng help.

kamusta preps nyo mga sis? nasa couturier naman na 'ko now, medyo mahirap lang magdecide kasi nga overseas. Roxy Bagano quoted me 45k for my peg, 15k difference with Jasmine Joy Bridal from Divisoria who quoted me 30k with accessories na. Is the 15k worth it kaya? Feeling ko name yung babayaran ko kay Roxy aside syempre sa maganda nya naman talagang mga gawa.

yung supplier kasi andito sa SG sa June, may discount sila aaand! okay sila kahit TBD ang date basta nabook daw namin yung discounted rate. super bait din kausap saka and flexible.

na-narrow down na namin yung mga bet namin na reception venues, kaya pagdating ko sa Ph ng august ready to reserve na kami on the spot. praying na available pa rin yung gusto naming date sa Tagaytay church na gusto namin.

sis Ocarina1 for Tagaytay wedding, I'd suggest you don't wait to book them. If Caleruega, you can email them naman and just send someone to book it for you. Kasi mabilis sila mabook as in and baka dina avaialble yung preferred date or time nyo.
