2019 bride here. Sorry if dito muna ko makikisali. No thread pa kasi for 2019 brides. Feeling ko tuloy too early ako to prepare. 😆 Meron ba dito 2018 St. James the Great bride? May I ask saan reception venue nyo? Medyo challenging kasi ang paghahanap ng venue near St. James. Though I already got a full coordinator, I wanna help her with your suggestions. TIA!

Hi sis. I think meron namang 2019 brides. Baka wala pang gumagawa nh thread lang or you can try making one. I dont think too early pa yung preps mo. Kasi ako akala ko too early pa tapos when i was trying to book suppliers aba nauubusan na ako or booked na yung mga gusto ko😂  For me lang ah. Booked m na mga kelangan i book like the church talaga.

Hi 2018 B2B!

Mejo nabusy kami ni bf this March and mabubusy pa this coming holy week. Pero mejo nasa mood na ako ulit ng preps. Kamustahin ko lang ang preps nyo! Still kicking? hehe. 

Date palang ang meron samin. haha. Target date is a weekday on Nov2018. anniversary namin. Matagal pa naman plus weekday naman kaya di pa kami nagpapabook sa church. Pero after holy week siguro dapat mabook na. baka bigla ko pagsisihan eh. Waaa.

Sa amin naman iisang araw na lang talaga. Dapat daw kasi before Chinese New Year, kaya ayun. Buti na rin hindi Nov/Dec 2017 (wala ring magandang araw lol )


Maganda nga siguro araw ninyo. Napapansin ko nga may mga araw na ang dami kong nakikitang kinakasal e hahaha!

I agree with Carlyndj . I am a 2018 Q4 bride and I am glad to have my preps done as early as this year kasi yung mga gusto mong suppliers madali talagang mapuno. Especially Church and Venue. Hindi pa naman open ang H2B ko sa ibang Church. Hehe. Ok lang yan sis MandJ2019

Wow may ganun. Samin walang ganyan pero may mga good luck date talaga unfortunately monday lumabas. Ayoko naman ng ganun kasi for sure daming hindi makakapunta and mga relatives ni h2b sa baguio magagalit kasi walang magbabantay ng ng mga business nila😂

Siguro nga ok yung date kasi yung events sa recep kept asking us kung sure kami sa ballroom na kukunin namin dahil may nag iinquire din daw, eh they need the whole place kung sakali so what h2b did was he pencil booked the 2 ballroom😂 Although he thought it was a strategy lang😂

Hi, fellow 2018 brides!

Is it necessary to hire a DJ to play songs in our wedding or a good lights and sounds supplier can handle it?

Due to budget constraints, we will not have a band but we hope to play our favorite songs and get some family or friends to sing for us.

Hindi bet ng coord ko ang food ni Queensland. Though I personally haven't tried them but I trust the judgement of my coord. She advised me to get Hizons or Verleo. We're planning to attend Hizons FT event at Fernwood.

May mga choices na rin ako sa ibang suppliers pero still not decided if will book them or not. Mabilis na lang tatakbo tong 2017 na to! So exciting and at the same time nakakaba. Hehe.

Emcee sis. Maghanap kana kasi kami naubusan. Natira super mahal na. Yung recep kasi nakabook na talaga kami sa isang ballroom tapos pinahold lang yung other ballroom just in case tumaas ang guestlist namin

h2b and I are also on a budget wedding, so if i were you hindi ko i-prioritise yung pag book ng DJ kung pwede namang a) mag create ka ng playlist mo and ibigay mo kahit kanino sa ento mo na kaya mag play ng music anc marunong; b) kung may talented friends and family sila na lang ang pakantahin mo or play guitar/piano.

i-customise mo yung wedding programme mo na hindi kailangan ng DJ, that's up to you. sa amin kasi, i-keep namin yung mga traditional, have someone to play the music pag mga dance dance, we'll ask someone to play the guitar, etc. mga ganyan ba.

Naisip rin namin ni H2B mag DJ kaya lang hindi priority haha i think kaya naman na yan ng mag-man sa sound and lights, siguro bigay mo lang instruction, or yung program and naka indicate doon kelan ipplay yung preferred song mo. or sa wedding coordinator mo ihabilin

Hi my fellow 2018 brides! Congratulations to us!
April 2018 kami. But I have this dilemma, h2b and I want to get married in Bulacan, kasi it's cheaper there, 25k lang yung pinakabonggang venue, talagang maeensure namin yung quality nung wedding tapos pasok sa budget. Pero ayaw ng parents ko sa Bulacan, ako pa daw kasi ang babae, tapos kami pa ang pupunta dun. Do you think I should just obey my folks?

^Same issue as mine sis. H2B is from N. Ecija and I'm from Manila. At first I consider sa N. Ecija magpakasal dahil mas mura nga doon. Pero the elders and cousins from my side didn't want to. Syempre ako daw ang babae.

I suggest pag-usapan nyo ni h2b mabuti kung ano ang gusto nyo talaga. at the end of the day its still your wedding anyway, IMHO. But, case to case basis yung best approach dyan eh. Usually, depende sa kung sino ang gagastos.

In our case, di masyadong makapakialam ang folks kasi kami ni h2b ang nagshoulder most of the expenses and di kami humihingi. So we can do whatever we want to do for our big day.

Pero yung ibang couples pag sponsored ng parents or relatives and wedding, kadalasan pag ayaw ni folks sa venue.. susunod talaga and couple.

Pero yun nga, end of the day, kasal nyo yun. Ayaw nyo pag sisihan ang mga magiging choices nyo diba.. so better agree with what you want, and be reasonable. I'm sure your folks will understand na hindi dahil taga bulacan si h2b kaya kayo doon gusto mag venue.. hehe.

^Ako naman sis mas gusto ko din naman dito sa Manila. Kami rin naman ang gagastos sa wedding namin. Si h2b naman mas gusto sa province nila dahil na rin sa expenses. Pero sa akin kasi, I'm willing to contribute more than what he can para lang masunod gusto ko. 😆 Sorry medyo spoiled ako kasi only child lang ako. And eldest din among cousins in our clan (father's side). And ako din ang unang ikakasal sa church sa aming magpipinsan na mostly girls.
