Our interview was scheduled this morning, jan 25 ay 10:00am. We are so lucky, the consul told us that our visa were approved. We will just wait and hoping to get a "multiple" visa.

So happy first time to apply and we got a multiple (10 years) visa.

I have another question guys about what to fill up on the DS 160 form. There's a question there that asks: "Have you ever been refused a U.S. visa, or been refused admission to the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the port of entry?" and then merong "Explain" if yes ang sagot. I'm just confused kasi noong 2008 nadeny ako so yes ba dapat ang sagot sa first question sa form? Then what to put sa Explain if di naman sinabi kung bakit nadeny ako noong 2008? Please help po thank you.

hi mga sis.  question lang about filling out the ds160. 

dun sa surnames na part ba, dapat ba ilalagay ko yung maiden surname ko?  and in my husband's case yung middle name nya?  kunwari yung name ko given name ko is Juanita, Middle name is Santos, Surname is Cruz.  Sa surname portion ba ilalagay ko Santos Cruz?  or Cruz lang?  sa example kasi dun sa form nakalagay Surnames tapos Hernandez Garcia.  Medyo nalilito lang ako.

^^ Do you have an idea bakit ka na-deny? Usually, 'due to insufficient proof of ties to your home country'. If suspetsa mo hindi naman yun, you can simply answer 'No reason provided by approving visa officer'. 


^ on middle name, sa US kase ang middle name is the second name mo if any (ie. Mary Ann. Yung 'Ann' ang middle name). Pero sa atin and ilalagay mo sa form is, ang middle name is yung 'maiden name mo' if married ka na, or yung 'maiden name ng mom' mo if single ka.

So for your example:
First Name: Juanita Banana
Middle: Santos
Surname/LastName: Cruz

Does that makes sense? Btw, just make sure consistent yung names mo sa lahat ng official documents na isa-submit mo sa application (ie. passport, nbi clearance, birth certificate)

Pinagapply ko parents ko. Yun father ko 18yrs na sa work. Si mama naman housewife at nagtitinda tinda. Pero nilagay ko sa application ko. Ako din sponsor and im permanet resident. Kaya mas nakakakaba. Aug 2 ang interview.

Gumawa ako ng listahan kasi baka malimutan ang sagot sa ds160. Un pala pag nasubmit mo na di na pede iprint. Buti un sa tatay ko naprint ko before ko isubmit kaya kako pagaralan nila kung ano sinagot ko dun. Or else babye P17K.

Update:

Visa approved for both of my parents. No documents asked. 10yrs multiple visa. They arrived in the US last Nov 23 and left Jan 23. 2months lang and pababalikin ko na lang sa Summer.

hello again!  another question on ds 160 please.

i've been managing my own business for more than 5 years already.  prior to that i was also employed.

in the portion where i am asked if i was previously employed, should i still include those that are more than 5 years ago already?  unclear kasi sya sa akin kasi nakalagay dun sa next portion to include naman previous employment upto 2. 

so should i still put my 2 most recent employers even if they're more than 5 years ago already?

^ Better if you will put your employment even if it's 5 years ago. My understanding of "previous employment upto 2" means you can put 2 employment - current and previous. If it did not state that you don't need to put employment for more that 5 years or so, then you don't.

naconfuse lang ako kasi nakalagay dun sa upper portion:  provide your employment information for the last five years that you were employed, if applicable.

then the next question is "were you previously employed?".  so parang hindi masyado clear if this question pertains to the past 5 years lang?  or as in kung may previous employment ba ako?  hehe sorry nakakalito kasi and syempre kailangan maayos yung pagfill out at baka dito pa sumabit!

i paid for my application in bpi sa bank.  pero ayaw pumasok nung receipt numbers when i was trying to schedule an appointment, e more than 4 hours ago pa yung payment.

iniisip ko lang, could it be because yung pangalan sa receipt nilagay yung middle initial ko?  dapat ba first name last name lang?  naku kinakabahan ako mga sis baka mali yun.

I have a 10 years US Visitor Visa my visa was issued Last 2008.During my 10 years valid visa I almost traveled 5 times and stay at US almost 6 mos i never over stay. my mom and my sister are both US Citizen. my question is the duration of my  stay/travel is ground for denying my renewal VISA?pls makakatulong po talaga ito ng marami sa akin mga sis pa helpl naman po kahit any idea or insights...or kung sino merung katulad ko na nag renew thru dropbox at ang case nya ay ganito ano po ang nangyari sa renewal po ninyo?pls po pa help thanks...

hello mga sis! just wanted to give feedback about my interview. sana makatulong din sa inyo...

profile: family application kami. my husband and my son, both 1st time applicants. me, i was denied about 20 years back when i was still single.

our appointment was 9:15, and we entered the first gate around 8:40. we were given a priority pass because my son is only 5 years old.

here?s how our interview went...

consul: what is the purpose of travel?
husband: we just want to take a tour.
consul: what do you do?
h: im a lawyer, sir.
consul: have you traveled outside the philippines?
hubby: yes, around asia.
consul to me:what about you?
me: im a stay at home mom. and this is my boss. (pointed to my son)
consul: so you have the harder job, i see. and what about you little man? what do you do?
my son: uhmmmm...
consul: do you eat your vegetables?
son: not really. but i drink my milk, and that?s also very healthy.
comsul: that?s very cute. ok, your application has been approved and you?ll get it in the mail in about a week. (to my son) eat up and follow whatever your mom says, ok?

done in about 5 mins! by 9:10 we were already walking out the gates of the embassy.

they didnt ask for any other documents, but we also prepared bank statements, titles, etc.

i was also observing the other applicants while we were waiting...the usual question was about travels outside the philippines. one family was denied - i think because they didnt travel much as a family in the past years. the mom said that it?s because it?s too hard to travel daw with a child because you have to bring a lot of stuff like strollers and bottles, etc.

also a tip: i wore heels to the interview, but i brought in my bag flat shoes for the loooooong walk from the parking area to the embassy. hehe pwede naman pala. no issues with security at all. best decision i made today.

ayun lang po...good luck sa inyo! so tips lang ulit: be in the area early para hindi nagmamadali, be confident with your answers, and bring flats.

Hello! Ask ko lang po if there is any way to check sa website yung availability of the dates for May 2019? I will be going home in the Philippines next month, and I only have 6 weeks vacation. Baka kasi mag apply ako for US visa and pay the fee tapos wala naman pala slot for May.

Naka sched kami ng interview sa May 24... Me, my husband, and 2 kiddos.

We have our own business and properties, tapos US citizen ang daddy ko at kapatid ko, so both of them filed a petition for me.

Nakapunta na kaming Hk twice, Macau, Singapore and Malaysia.

 Sana naman mabigyan kaming buong pamilya ng 10 years multiple entry.

Question 1: si MIL po citizen na siya doon. yung sa part ng form na sino ang magsponsor sa travel niyo, hindi po namin alam kung dapat ba siya ilagay namin  magsponsor or wala na lang? Regular employee po ako sa work ko, si husband may business na paupahan ng commercial space. Pero hindi po kami masyado makapagsave sa bank.

Question 2: kung siya po lalagay namin sa sponsor kailangan pa po ba ng invitation letter? Pwede po ba by email yun? ano po mga kailangan na documents from her?

sa form ang lagay nyo self ang magbabayad, then pag tinanong kayo sa budget sabihin nyo excluding accomodation and ticket Xxx,xxx

sa purpose naman pwede short vacation and visit my mom.

yung iba nga kahit company pa mag sponsor nadedecline.  kaya wala halos bearing sa pag apply letter of invitation lalo na kung inaya lang kayo magbakasyon , unless wedding baka sakali iconsider pero nasa pagsagot pa rin nyo sa harap ng consul .

wala naman sigurong hahanapin na documents na hahanapin from your mil. just make sure na masasagot nyo kung ano status nya sa us and paano siya naging citizen.
