^sis, i suggest find a hotel near San Antonio de Padua.  These days, you can never know the traffic.  Iwas ka sa rotonda and sky ranch area para di ka malate and more time to check yourself.

^^ Thanks, I'm leaning towards a hotel with a view of Taal lake also, probably near CDC but yeah, sabi ni Ms. Kris, 20 mins sa oras namin, since 2PM wedding ang travel time more or less, thank goodness iwas din sa rush hours. Salamat sa tip.    But since you've mentioned that, hanap na din ako for back up.

Pa help naman with otd coordinator. May experience na ba kayo with Pam Ragsag of Simple Joys Wedding and Events or Zenith Events Management? Wala kasi silang fee for Tagaytay but I have found few comments for their services here on GT. Maybe you can help me out?

Update lang sissies!

I'm so happy that I was able to book our reception na for our March 2018 wedding. We got Casa De Corazon too, just yesterday nag punta kami ni H2B to have an ocular lang sana sa place, but the moment we saw it may this is it feeling and we both fell inlove with the place! So on the spot booking kami ni H2B. Hehe. Nakausap pa namin si Kuya willie and sobrang bait niya and he's whole team included! I am one happy B2B!

ChixC18 welcome to the club, 3 na kayong 2018 brides here sa GT ang booked with CDC, how about L&J Catering, do you consider booking them? I booked the tandem, as well as their affiliated OTD Coord. and Host (Ms. Kris) and Florist (Kuya Edgar).

My wedding will be on April 2017, btw.

When I saw the video and photos, can't lie, I cried a little and my heart skipped a bit. Haha!

I agree, the venue is breathtaking, one of the MANY reasons why we chose Tagaytay is the Taal Lake view, and well, CDC did not disappoint, when they said the venue is overlooking Taal, they were not kidding.

@Rory_Lorelie_Gilmore - Hi Sis! I'm considering L&J catering too.  May FT kami with them by December sa CDC din so that we can also check on the set up.    Hmm. Regarding florist since, we already got a florist kasi before we book the venue sayang naman yung DP namin so okay nadin, Happy naman ako sakanila. Sa Emcee naman sis, di ko pa sure kung kunin ko yung sa package ni Kuya Willie na si Ms.Kris (though I like her nakita ko siya nung nag book kami for CDC) kasi yung coord din namin may free prof Emcee, i mean freebie pala. So i need to check on both muna kung sinong mas ok sa taste namin ni H2B.

Ay sis, ask ko lang since booked ka for both CDC and L&J.  How much ang DP mo for both/tandem? We paid kasi 20K for DP for CDC if we consider getting L&J do we add an additional 10K?? kasi 10K daw to book L&J or converted yung 20K DP namin both for L&J and CDC na yon? I asked kasi Kuya Willie but wala pa siyang reply.

ChixC18 Sis I replied to your query sa CDC thread natin, kung mahigpit budget since sabay sabay ang DP mo sa mga Suppliers, try to ask him kung pwede. iconvert yung 20k mo to both CDC & L&J.

True, hehe, pero in comparison with the rest of the Florists parang competitive naman, but of course your call and malayo pa naman wedding mo lots of time to prepare.

^^got a quote na kay sir edgar erni, and medyo pricey sya dun sa peg namin. Hahaha!! We'll think about it pa. Medyo good deal na din siguro kasi dahil pinasama ko yung reception sa computation. Wala nga lang dun sa quotation yung entourage kasi gusto ko kami gagawa nun. Ayoko kasi ng traditional flowers. Ayoko pa magdecide kasi aattend pa kami ng bridal fair baka may mas mura kasi dun.. hehe!!

^raiizea and girlush - How much quote sainyo ni Edgar erni sis? I got Dangwa Florist from a Bridal Expo, sa lahat ng pinakita ko sakanyang pegs she quoted me 45K at first konting lambing lang binabaan na sa 40K (since yan ang budget namin for styling and florals talaga) that includes Ceremony, Entourage (ang dami kong entourage sissies), Reception styling with design sa drapes. I spoke with the owner si Ate Arleen, and sobrang bait niya she gave tons of freebies! You might want to consider her since whe will work within your budget. And mind you waived ang OOT niya sa Tagaytay pakainin lang daw siya and her team she'll be happy!

22K then kaya daw hanggang 18K. Budget namin kase is 15K lang sa flowers.

 Ni let go ko nalang kase sobra na sa budget. Pero magaling talaga at maganda mga gawa niya.

^^30k yung sakin church and reception. Kaya naman medyo mahal yung sakin kasi ang peg ko white flowers and white branches plus string lights, sabi niya kasi kasama na daw sa quote niya yung electrician. Maarte kasi peg ko haha!. Ang hindi niya lang kaya yung sa table na sabi ko lagyan din ng string lights. Sabi ko pag hindi kaya candle lights na lang lahat. Mahirap pa pagusapan sa ngayon kasi next year pa namin balak magpabook nung mga minor suppliers. Next to book pa lang namin coordinator. Punta muna kami sa cdc baka pwede na rin makausap si ms.kris dun. Budget lang talaga namin sa flowers e 20k, saka ko na lang tatawaran pagnakausap ko ng personal si sir erni. Lahat kasi ng pinakita kong pegs puro branches. Hindi ko napakita yung ibang pegs pa na low arrangement lang. Pagsasama samahin ko muna lahat ng pegs ko saka ko sya kakausapin.hehe..

22k initial quote sakin ni Sir Edgar, pero when I showed him yung peg ko na gawa din nila ng L&J parang kay Heart na punong puno ng white and yellow flowers, addt'l. 6k, so 28K pero both Church na and Reception + whole entourage. When I checked here sa GT, nagulat ako sa super mura na considering kasama na entourage ko and me, as in lahat na and wala nako iispin pa. Nahiya ako sa paghinge ko ng discount haha! Saka for me gusto ko talaga sila na lahat team ko, sa DAMI  ng kasal na ginagawa nila sa 1 taon, haha I'm sure smooth na lahat ng communication and interactions.  Btw, according kay Sir Edgar, mahaba daw aisle ng Church (SADP) ko kaya din sya nag add sakin ng 6k.

matagal na ako nag babasa sa thread na to hehe nag mamasid.  i also booked Sir edgar erni. he quoted me 25k ata nung una hanggang sa bumaba ng 18k. marami akong ento. pero sabi ko gusto ko simple lang ang mga flowers sa church since maganda na ang caleruega and maliit. ayoko din mapuno ang isle kase nakikita ko sa mga sde sikip na ang lalakaran ng bride sa sobrang dami ng bulaklak just my opinion lang and too many good words for sir edgar here in gt.

^^yeah yun nga ang mali ko sa peg na binigay ko puro branches yung aisle e entrance lang talaga yung gsto ko lagyan ng branches with xmas lights and lamps sana, tapos low arrangement lang sa sides, pero palalagyan ko pa din ng string lights. Kaya nga sabi ko saka ako tatawad kasi for sure ang nagpamahal tlaga nun e yung string lights at branches.ang gulo ko kasi magsend ng peg haha!! Minsan kasi nasa cel ko yung iba nasa comp. so akala tuloy yung unang send yun na yun 😆

True, ako naman pag may na notice na tinipid sa flowers parang na off-an ako, di ako masyado artsy and particular sa details, pero flowers are something na you might not want to scrimp in terms of quantity/quality sa wedding. Maski konti lang pero sana maganda arrangements and so on.
