Girls! 10 days to go wedding na namin and I can't contain my excitement on our wedding! Thank you very much sa tulong nyo grabe halos 1 1/2 year ako nagbabasa talaga dito sa GT di lang talaga ako mahilig magpost kasi tinatamad ako magtype! Lol! But I promise magawa ako ng review after the wedding, so far may mga glitches akong nakikita sa ibang supplier but sinasabi ko nalang na sa output ko nalang ijudge if they really execute well. 😀 Iniisip ko nalang ehg mahalaga ikasal ako with the man I truly love. Yung mga minor details na gusto ko sana but di na kaya ng budget o di kaya feeling waste of time lang gawin di ko na pinaggugugulan ng stress and time. Im grateful to my fiance kasi he tries to make me happy by having some of my "want lists" happen. Di narin ako nagpapapressure sa kung sino mas bongga na wedding kasi andami kong kasabay na wedding sa family, work and friends ko. Basta happy ako na complete ang family ko and ikasal. Anyways pumayag na si Fr. Allen na may personal message kami sa isat isa after the ceremony. Lol! Pinaghandaan ko kaya ang vow ko no. Lol! Good luck to all tagaytay brides here and lets be merry!

Foxyness good luck Sis, savour the moment! Congrats sa preparations! Medyo nakarelate ako sa mga sinabi mo, napa teary eyed ako slight haha! Same sentiments kasi tayo. Pero wag ka Mariah Santos tayong dalawa haha, so I guess medyo above average pa din naman wedding natin, if pagbabasehan yung ka bonggahan, depende nalang din sa taste kasi and sa priority.  :D I'm sure if all the GT Brides here have enough money to spend eh lahat bongga (in a sense na top Suppliers kukuhain). What's important is we are marrying the man of our dreams that we love and we adore, our relationship will be blessed by God, at legal na tayo to start a family of our own, it will be witnessed by our family, relatives and closest friends, all the rest are just an icing on the cake.  :D The fact na we're given this opportunity is a blessing in itself. This is a start of another adventure. Nakaka overwhelm, this is also one of the main reasons na di ako masyado nagpapa apekto sa small issues or details when it comes sa wedding preparations.  ;D I never thought this day will come, di lang kasi yung sa finances, yung readiness natin to get married, yung mahanap yung tao na gusto ka din pakasalan, and mafeel nyo yon ng sabay. IT'S A MIRACLE and a BLESSING!  :D

Enjoy your day! Keep us posted! XOXO

^Awww..that's a sweet message sis and I could not agree more! :) A big yes to marrying for the right reasons! :) More than the wedding day, it is the marriage we should be working on more.

Hi ladies,

I am an overseas bride and our target wedding date is January 2018. Nasstress ako because I'm overseas and parang its hard to figure out how to start working on this. Idagdag pa na im on a budget. Anybody has an opinion if mas mura and/or better mag full coordinator na i have to choose the vendors or maghanap ng coordinators that offer all in packages.

Thanks,
V

^ welcome sis and congrats!

The venues ranges from 70-200k depends where exactly in Tagaytay. :) I am not particular lang with the current rates.  Where's your church?

Good luck sis foxyness! Graduate ka na rin soon! :) Congrats! Stay calm and focus and being a beautiful bride. hehe!

vivisconfused Sis, since 2018 pa naman wedding mo you still have a year to prepare. Basa basa ka muna dito, or if you feel na di mo talaga kakayanin, might as well get a Coordinator (full coordination). Based din ako abroad pero I opted to get an OTD Coordinator nalang pero ang start ng preps namin is 3 mos before the wedding and evey now and then we communicate.

So for starters, eto muna unahin mo pagisipan:

1.) Date (kelan sa Jan. 2018?)
2.) Church
3.) Reception Venue

Everything else follows. Good luck! ;) Don't worry we all started as confused as you, visit mo lang GT everyday, basa basa ka. Masasanay ka din sa jargons.  ;)

^ it will be better to look for venues near your church. then palayo ng palayo if not within your alotted budget. After sorting out the venues, better to do an ocular din to check if it fits your venue capacity needs.

Soo excited for you sis Foxyness! Congratulations and best wishes in advance! :D

Sis joeygirl27, I suggest you make a wedding checklist para mas organize. And as early as now research ka na ng suppliers na gusto mo para kung sure ka na, you can book them early to lock-in their rates. Because come January, most will probably raise their rates again. Here's a few items from mine:

CRITICAL FIRST ITEMS:
  DECIDE ON WEDDING DATE
SET BUDGET & NO. OF GUESTS
DECIDE ON THEME AND COLOR MOTIF

SUPPLIERS TO BOOK:
  CEREMONY VENUE
  RECEPTION VENUE
  PREPARATIONS VENUE
  PHOTOGRAPHER
  VIDEOGRAPHER
  WEDDING COORDINATOR
  CATERER
  CAKE
  GOWN COUTURE / TAILOR
  HAIR & MAKE-UP STYLIST
  FLORIST / RECEPTION STYLIST
  EVENT MUSICIANS (Ceremony & Reception)
  LIGHT AND SOUNDS
  EVENT HOST
  PHOTOBOOTH
  BRIDAL CAR
  INVITATION MAKER
  SOUVENIRS & SPONSOR GIFTS
  JEWELER (wedding rings)
  PRENUP STYLIST
  CREW MEAL SUPPLIER

^That's great sis! My actual excel wedding checklist is longer though kasi andun yung mga details, which I find more mabusisi asikasuhin ahahaha. I even made a formula of how many days left til the wedding day! And may separate wedding calendar pa ko hahaha! Andun naman yung mga schedule ng meeting with suppliers tsaka mga deadlines. I'm trying to check myself nga every now and then baka maging bridezilla na ko lelz.

Hellow mga sis!!!

After almost 2 Years of preps, finally graduate na! I am sharing our SDE video by Brilliant Bum Photography.

https://vimeo.com/194456344

I owe a lot here in GT, medyo na busy lang talaga. Pero as soon as I get my energy back, babawi ako sa reviews. We had our dream Caleruega wedding with a very limited budget.

Nag exceed kami ng konti sa initial budget, pero choice naman namin na iyon because we love our guests and family so much.

Happy preps for the remaining 2016 Brides!

Our wedding had lots of epic fail moment, sabi nga nila kahit feeling mo organized kana, pero may papalya parin talaga. Tsk tsk.

Makaka move-on din ako in time! hahaha! Salamat sis!
