We booked Taal Vista,by the way, because of the view and the hassle-free package.

^Saan ba wedding venue mo sis? You may also check Tagaytay Vacation Houses. Their fb name is "Tagaytay Vacation". Madami houses available. We'll rent one of their house, the Francis Main and Extension. 2 houses sya na magkatabi. around 25pax kasya.

cc1818: try niyo din sa airbnb meron condos na pinaparent, tagaytay area. Per day ang charge nila. One time nagbook kami 2 days 1 night i think mga 2,500Php binayaran namin.

sis Cheroppy yup around Tagaytay sila so no OOT charge. Yung nakuha naman namin na house sa Tagaytay Vacation, Francis Main and Extension House 19K 2house na for 25pax. You may also check them sa airbnb. Pero ako kasi I inquired directly kay Ms Mavick.

@cc18 -  if you're going to get married on a Friday afternoon, and you are not sure of the traffic situation, getting the services of "hagad" might be beneficial.  We got married last June 10 -Friday din. That was the Friday before school opened (Thank God hehe),  there was light - medium traffic as expected. Pero malaking tulong sila sa amin as our Preps place / reception area was in Balay Indang. Our church was in San Antonio de Padua Silang Cavite. Normally it would take at least 45 -55 minutes ang travel time ( at least ). With hagad, it took us less than 30 minutes. It was a blessing na din, we were supposed to leave Balay Indang by 1:00 PM. At dahil sa pictorial, ang nangyari, we left a few minutes past 1:30. Eh dapat 1:30 formation na. Buti na lang daw, that time wala kaming kasunod na kasal (pero may mass/novena after). Dumating kami ng church with a few minutes to spare before 2:00 PM.  And maayos din yung pag convoy ng mga guests pabalik. Yun lang nga daw, ang bilis daw nila. hehe.

Hi sisses, question. Any recommendations for a Tagaytay-based priest? I wanted sana Fr. Allen, however, all of the Caleruega priests will be on retreat on my wedding date. Waaaah! Will be getting married at Chapel on The Hill on 26 November (sat.) at 5pm.

Any help would be immensely appreciated.

And also, where did you get hagad Missus O? Problem ko din yan traffic na Yan. But hopefully it won't be so bad since my wedding is late afternoon / early evening.

^hi sis! Alam mo ba kung hanggang kelan yung retreat? I hope hindi masagasaan ang wedding date namin. I would love to have father allen din, kaso by October pa kami pwede mag confirm kung possible or not.

Re recommended priest, if ever we'll not get father allen, we will choose Father Tom Veneracion. I only have his Linked In sis, no direct contact. I've seen him sa mga SDE na napanood ko late last year sa OLLP and Caleruega. We don't know him personally but he became a Parish Priest here in Dubai for 5 years before he resigned last 2014. Gustong gusto kasi namin sya mag Homily kapag Filipino Mass time na, kaya medyo na sad kami nung umalis sya. Not sure lang if same ang pag mass nya kapag weddings na. Then I found out na around Tagaytay sya ngayon dahil ng sa mga SDE na napanood ko. hehe!

Try to check on him sis if you want. Pero ito lang talaga ang may alam akong link sakanya.

We had our hagad arranged for us but basically they went to two, Alfonso and Silang, because our church was in Tagaytay and our reception was in Silang. I think you have to talk to the municipal hall or something. As far as i know my MIL paid 8k. Lifesavers sila, from what was potentially 1.5 hours we made it in 30 mins.

@shopaholic -  we asked sa Tagaytay Polic District, Traffic department ba yun. They were fairly easy to talk to. And it wasn't as expensive as some thinks. Wala pang 5K ang binayad namin for 2. Nagpunta sila (mga hagad) sa Balay Indang (in Indang,Cavite) and assisted us from Indang,passing to Mendez, Tagaytay proper,Silang and vice versa.  Sila mag-advice sa inyo. Sabi nila sa amin, buti daw kasi walang pasok, mas madali. But they were a big help.

@Missus O hi sis, I'm interested to alao get Balay Indang for the reception. Calaeruega kami, Jan 2018 pa naman. Kumuha ka pa ba ng stylist? May I know your suppliers? Can I see your photos? TIA.

@hearty2017 - hi sis. We only rented Balay Indang for the venue. Although doon  din yung accomodation namin. We got K by Cunanan for our caterer kaya may stylist na kasama.  Nagkaroon kasi kami ng misunderstanding noong unang naginquire kami. But it turned out to be the best na din, because we stayed there for  3 days 2 nights.  So yung food namin would mostly be the same as yung food sa reception if ever na sila din kinuha namin .   And yes, if kung sila ang kukunin mo na caterer, I think you would still need a stylist. Among sa mga stylists sa Cavite na nakusap ko, I liked Anna Winstrel the most.

I think our entourage cars were able to get by with the hagad since they were ahead of us pa nga, hehe. Ang alam kong di lahat sumama were the guests, i think some were being nice. I think tagaytay will always be traffic, that's the downside of getting married there esp during peak season.

We will be having our pre nup shoot at Two Gardens, kaso we are overseas so ang sabi saakin we should settle 50% dp daw through Bank deposit, kaso kausap ko lang siya through their FB page, tanong ko lang sana sainyo if ang contact person duon is C.
