we booked Infinite Soul Acoustic for my bestfriend's wedding this Nov 2016. Ask ko lang if ok lang ba na ledwall is other supplier , kasi Artuz101 kami sa lights and sounds then ledwall is Jsmina with basic lights and sounds, parang nagdoble kasi book ng brother ko then nabook ko Infinite Soul Acoustic kasama si Artuz, ok lang kayang ganun? sayang di kasi basic lang pala nakuha ko kay Jsmina so kulang din daw for the band ang basic. Btw, si Infinite soul Acoustic din naman kinuha ko ng wedding ko and kampante naman daw sila magwork with either of the two lights and sounds na nabanggit ko. Sa Tagaytay highlands kasi sabi naman samin dapat isang supplier na lang daw para di mahirap sa gate passes magdodoble doble daw.

Just cancel whatever your brother booked and just coordinate with ISC on the lights and sonds. Better to book one lights & sounds supplier, then haggle the price for the led wall. That way you dont need to pay extra for suppliers meal/allowance and arrange extra papers pa. Go with whoever your band is more comfortable with.
If your brother already paid the dp on both, Artuz is easy to talk to, they can add it to your booking with ISC. The JSMina dp might be tricky, but try to get a refund and explain the bouble booking. Good luck!

Nagpplan kasi kami maghanap this week, gusto ko muna sana icheck bago maginquire sa price.

Pwede naman sis inquire online for their price. That's what I did (overseas kami) then if alin yung pasok sa budget saka ko inform sister ko para mag ocular.
There are some venues naman na no need na magpa sched for ocular.

Kakareserve lang namin ng church last week, isusunod na sana namin agad yung venue ng reception.
Nasabi kasi nung friend ko na minsan hindi magkakatugma yung available date ng church at sa venue na magugustuhan namin..
Kaya gusto na sana namin mafinalize pareho para makabook nadin ng ibang suppliers hehe.

sis @cheroppy, better to schedule an appointment for an ocular may ibang event venues that don't allow walk-ins eh, and baka kung pumunta kayo na may on-going event, baka di nyo din makuha yung details that you'll need to book a place dahil masyado preoccupied mga tao

Hindi ako masyadong familiar sa mga location pero mas gusto namin yung malapit sa church namin, which is OLLP.

Wala padin kami venue. Bali Village palang yung pinaka nagustuhan ng sister ko nung nag visit sila. Aside from that,they visited also Glens, Padre Pio & Q Hotel.
Plan ko umuwe sa August para mavisit ko yung Bali & Q.

Me caterer ka na ba? Summit ridge doesn't allow outside caterer & hindi sila nagpaparent ng venue. You should get their wedding package.

Meron ako venue rates ng The Glens, Mahogany and wedding package ng Summit Ridge. I can share it to you (if you want)

Hope you could help me with my "dilemma".

I got KbyCunanan na kasi as my caterer, reception at Hill Creek Garden Pavilion. I wanted to ask for your suggestions kasi I wanted a photowall (kasi i won't do a photobooth anymore) where my guests could have their photos taken, a set-up registration table and string lights. As in ito lang yung mga gusto kong ipa-add dahil may christmas lights + nice ambiance na naman sa hillcreek in December (my wedding month).

Do you think I should get a separate stylist pa?

Hindi pa kami naghahanap ng caterer kasi based sa mga nabasa ko, merong accredited na caterer yung ibang venues. If ever na may venue na kami, yung mga accredited na lang nila yung iccheck namin.

Thanks Iggy for the suggestions, its a big help. Yes madali nga kausap si Sir Nelson of Artuz101 and tinulungan na rin kami ni Monica of Infinite Soul Acoustic kung anong mas ok na gawin, we are just too blessed na matulungin lahat ng suppliers namin sa pagdecide ng tama at hindi sila masakit sa ulo kahit panay phone calls lang kami sa kanila.

Hi fellow Tagaytay brides! Do you know any acoustic singer na Tagaytay based and with affordable rates? Or a solo violinist? Prefer sana namin solo lang. Medyo tight budget na kasi. Hehe.

Btw, we booked Yho-an's flower shop na for our entourage flowers. I've tried to scout Ms Tessia and super affordable nga ang rates nya compared sa iba. But, I checked their FB profile and may napansin lang kami sa mga bouquets, medyo hindi sya fresh. Nothing against them, actually of all the suppliers I've contacted sya yung pinaka responsive. I just want to book lang the supplier na sulit ang money namin.

Hello mga sis! Share ko lang yung nangyari sa ocular namin last week...
Venues that we checked:

Sonya's Garden
Affordable ang rates nila.
Nagustuhan ng mom ko yung place kasi para daw "vintage".
Hindi sila one event per day. Pero kung hindi naman big deal sa inyo yun, ok yung place.
Ang hindi ko lang masyado gusto is yung menu nila, parang masyado simple. Pero may pagpipilian naman.
Saka medyo malayo-layo siya sa church namin, baka pag traffic malate yung ibang bisita.

Mahogany Place
Maganda yung place, one event per day kahit 3 yung venues nila.
Medyo pricey.
Booked na sila sa wedding date namin.

The Glens
My fiance and I had a "this-is-it" feeling nung makita namin yung loob ng place.
Yung sa labas hindi pa masyadong okay dahil dinedevelop pa nila. Tapos yung ibang place din sa loob dinedevelop pa din.
What caught our attention is the pavillion, malaki siya for our 150 guests, pero pag madami kang balak na "props" or additional booths or bars sa wedding mo, ok na ok yung place.
Hindi lang kami nagbook muna kasi may wedding expo nga ngayong weekend. Ang ginawa namin, kinuha muna namin yung accredited caterers para makapag "bargain" pa kami sa wedding expo.

Villa Ibarra
Kung gusto mo ng view ng taal, Villa Ibarra is one of the venues to check.
Hindi lang namin nagustuhan is medyo mababa yung ceiling nila, ewan ko pero parang ayaw ni h2b, haha!

Taalena
Also One of the venues where you can view taal.
Hindi namin siya nagustuhan kasi hindi ayos yung parking (lubak-lubak), tapos yung mismong venue parang hindi maayos, may sirang washing machine pa sa tabi XD I know naman na tatanggalin nila yun on the event day pero parang naturn off kami kasi diba dapat laging presentable yung place?

Hindi na namin chineck yung mga hotels kasi mataas daw yung corkage fees.
Yung fernwood hindi na rin kasi andami kong nababasang feedback na mainit daw
