^You can also check Balay Indang. Like Hacienda Isabelle, loob na din sya ( unlike Hacienda Isabelle, its more affordable),  you have an option whether indoor or outdoor.  You could also opt for their inhouse caterer (although we opted for our own caterer as we've already hired K by Cunanan).

Hello, OLLP x Mahogany Place bride here.
Naghahanap kami ng preps venue. Nagandahan kami sa The Carmelence View then we booked all the 4 rooms available via booking.com. Nung tumawag ako, sabi sa akin iba daw rates nila if gagamitin sa wedding preps. I compared the rates, sobrang laki ng itinaas!

Namention ko yung pagka "love-at-first-sight" namin sa The Glens nung nag ocular kami.
Yun nga, come wedding fair, we checked the rates of their accredited caterers... And guess what?? Out of the budget hahaha!

Ang ginawa na lang namin habang nag iisip is pumunta kami sa ibang booth nung naocular namin, so nagpunta kami sa Ibarra. Same flyers lang na binigay dun mismo sa packages nung nag ocular kami. Ang difference is.. Ang daming freebies!!!

Actually, kung icocompare mo yung package na nakuha namin sa Ibarra vs The Glens, almost the same lang siya. Nagkatalo nga lang sa freebies. Iniisip din kasi namin, kung binook namin yung Glens na may malaking venue, tapos wala naman kami budget para sa additional stuff, wala rin. Magmumukang plain lang din yun place. Kaya ayun, we booked Ibarra na lang. Nakatipid pa kami tapos yung ibang bagay na hindi namin madagdag sa list namin dahil sa budget dati, ngayon meron na kami.

Nakapagpabook din kami ng videographer dun sa fair.
Sa major suppliers, photo, wedding/entourage gowns and OTD coordinator na lang kulang namin, di ko lang alam kung may nakalimutan pako XD hihi

I haven't seen the Glens in person but in pictures of a friend, in my opinion it needs dressing up talaga. The ceiling of that dome looks cheap for a wedding venue unless it's covered with drapes. Or lots of lights, or both. Drapes alone can easily be 30k. Then you'll have to dress up the place pa kasi there are only certain angles na maganda but on an overall, it's like Gazebo Royale, may greens pero may kulang talaga. Happy you've booked your venue

^hi sis cheroppy what made us decide is yung budget namin for OTD haha... then gusto kasi namin suppliers from south then yun nga suggested naman sya nung dati kong ae. dalawa sila ni Princess apple na recommended nila pero pag hosting din daw EBR daw and also, perfect score naman yung reviews nila sa facebook from their previous brides so ayun nibook na namin bago pa sya maibook ng iba.

sparklingjewel: Thanks sis! oo nga, malaki yung place kaya andaming dapat gawin hehe. ang problem lang namin sa Ibarra is baka medyo masikip para sa 150 pax saka baka maliit yung area namin pag nagdance kami haha! although sweet dance lang naman ang gusto ko sana lang makuhanan ni P/V ng maganda XD

nikkipedia: Ang gaganda nga ng reviews nila sa facebook, parang gusto ko na nga din sila ibook. kaya lang gusto ko same yung supplier ko sa OTD saka hosting, para alam na nila galaw nila. Si rachelle kasi wala daw video ng hosting kaya medyo nagwoworry ako. tingnan ko na lang pag nagmeet kami.

Hi sis Cheroppy, we booked The Glens for our wedding on Dec 2016. And same with you, I got the 'this is it' feeling sa venue na yon. Actually mas maganda sya in person vs when you look at it in pictures. Pero hindi ko naisip na mejo bare nga sya. haha. Bahala na siguro L&S namin dun. 
Napagpilian din namin Villa Ibarra kasi maganda food reviews nila and nice yung taal view. But when we had our ocular, hindi na available yung preferred date namin. Fully booked agad ang Dec.

Artuz101 L&S namin. Mabait si Sir Nelson saka wife nya. 17k L&S for ceremony & reception, screen and projector. Iniisip pa namin if mag-add kami string lights additional 6k.
Ano pala freebies mo sa Villa Ibarra sis?

^@Cheroppy That's fine, i think it looks better filled up than with excess spaces. I would've booked Hacienda Isabella, but that was my fiance's concern too then, super kakalog daw kami dun bec their garden can fit like up to 700 pax and our tent is much smaller. He's a photog so he said it won't look good in pics.

Regarding the dance, you can warn your videographer in advance. I sent mine our practice session video so they know how to position themselves on the day itself. Hehe.

Hi Ladies,

Meron ba kayong marerecommend na houses na mapagsstay-an ng relatives. From the north kasi kami, and since Tagaytay ang wedding, kailangan nila magovernight =)) we're probably thinking of getting 2-3 houses para sa guests. Any recommendations? Hindi naman sila choosy so pwede na yung medyo cheap as long as maayos yung tutulugan and pwede makapagluto. Mauubos kasi budget namin pag sa hotel namin sila pinag-stay. Haha!
