We're eyeing TH kasi, kaso wala ako makitang reviews masyado sa Midlands Veranda and Madre De Dios chapel.

Hi, I am new here! finally found the right thread for my post. ( initially posted my wedding concerns on the newbies' thread.  ;D I am planning my wedding and I need help on the ff. concerns:

1. Florist - H2b booked Flowers Unlimited Tagaytay thinking it is FU-Rizal. any feedback on them? We got them for the ceremony, entourage and table centerpieces for the venue.

2. Preps - We are looking for a nice place that's either near Caleruega or Antonio's. Preferably a rest house or Villa. We would not want a hotel as much as possible.

3. Ceremony - since the main chapel is already booked on our date, we opted for the tent chapel instead as it is also more convenient for both our mothers. Any tips on how to do the march, considering it is an open space?

Thank you and looking forward to your replies! :) <3

^Sis, for PREPS, try Airbnb. Common preps area that gets booked if you don't want hotel rooms yung loghouse sa Woodsborough.

Finally booked the church and reception venue na! not sure what trouble noveetwenty3 and her friend got into with Ina ng Laging Saklolo... It wasnt really hard to talk to them. I called them up to confirm availability and they were very accommodating with my questions naman.  Our coordinator went to the Church two days after to pay for reservation fee and to submit our documents. They require baptismal certificate, birth certificate and ID pic of bride and groom, but since we're both out of the country, scanned copies lang ang sinubmit ni Coord.  Ina ng Laging Saklolo accepted the printed  copies of our docs, no hassle :)

Anyway, I booked Angelfields for the reception, so kasama yung 3 casitas nila sa package for night of the event, but I haven't been to Angelfields so I don't know if OK din ba ibook yung night before para doon na rin ang wedding preps. sulit kaya?   Iniisip ko if magbook kami ng suites sa taal vista for the wedding preps. mas ok kaya?

cc1818 - hi sis, initially we wanted tagaytay highlands kasi all in one na doon, hindi mahihirapan ang guests masyado and no traffic din. Si Ms. sharon yung AE ko sana... we haven't meet personally kaya I can't recommend her talaga... one thing na hindi ko feel is yung chapel... maiksi ang lalakaran... I don't want din naman ng masyadong mahabang walk. siguro in-between kumbaga. but they're chapel were really nice. they have in-house stylists din yata so if you want upgrades sila ang kakausapin, medyo high-range na yung in-house stylist nila kaya napaisip din ako. I have so many details pa naman na gusto kaya baka magballoon ang wedding budget namin. this is just me ha... Don't take it negatively... I think naman TH is a really great venue for a wedding and there are many good reviews sa food nila. accomodations won't be a problem too. Siguro kapag mag-renewal of vows nalang kami I might add TH parin sa possible venue list ko. I can email you details of ms. sharon sis.. let me know your email address thanks!

jadedrock- it's better to do an ocular sis before booking. I can say maganda ang taal vista sis, they really have big rooms.

samedi - try yellow coco in tagaytay.. nakita ko lang ito while I was searching for our wedding prep venue :)

Sis, what day and time yung wedding mo? Kahit sa google maps mo na lang i-check the distance from Taal Vista to Church then to Reception. If weekday and no traffic and you prefer Taal Vista, go ahead. Pag weekend though, consider the travel time and possible delays. If you prefer convenience, I suggest to stick with the Angelfields casitas.  :)

Sis ako, still looking for venue&caterer. First choice ko is L&J catering(owned by Willie Gatpandan) & second is Queensland catering. Food palang sila.

Yung venue, sa Padre Pio,in front of Lourdes, without accomodation,25K.
Also yung Casino Filipino,25K.

One of our gt bride, got Queensland, they spent,115K including the crewmeals & 160guests. Also with upgrades na.
Venue is Bali Village Hotel, 65K yung rent but if cash,50K.

The Q Hotel(food&venue), 122K for 100pax.
P699/head in excess of 100

We had our wedding a year ago sa Ina ng Laging Saklolo. We never had any problem with them. Yung documents namin inemail lang namin and go na. Very maasikaso din sila and warm. Goal ko talaga dun ikasal dati pa since dun kami nagsisimba and bet namin yung intimacy ng pagiging in between chapel and church yung ambiance niya.

Sis girlush go with kuya Edgar Erni. Sobrang exceeded our expectations talaga.

Less than 10K😄😄😄

hello again!

Any reviews or feed backs to:
1. Yellow Coco
2. Casa Alegria
3. The Lake Hotel
4. AirBnb House Rental at Canyon Woods?
5. Crosswinds Tagaytay

1. Yellow Coco

PROS: Nice rooms. Affordable and reasonable price and it includes breakfast. Mababait kausap yung mga tao nila.

CONS: Although they have nice rooms, I don't like the lighting, nadidiliman ako. I prefer floor length windows sa bedroom para pasok agad yung natural light and maganda kalabasan sa pictures habang nagprepreps. I want the preps venue to also have a garden where we could do photo ops. Yung grounds nila I don't know if you can call it a garden kasi yung gitna sementado na konti na lang yung part na may grass. Although may mga spots na ok for picture taking, it wasn't enough for me. Pero para sa mga relatives na magsstay this is a good option.

2. Casa Alegria

PROS: The 2 best rooms has glass walls in front overlooking a breathtaking view of Taal. They have a pool and billiard tables but then would you need this? Nung nakita ko sya ang naisip ko mas ok sya venue for a shower or stag party where you and your friends can have a few drinks and just chill.

CONS: The ground space of the entire hotel in itself is small and tight. You have to climb a set of steep stairs to get to the room especially the one situated sa pinakatop. No garden to do photo ops although they do have a roof deck. Limited parking space.

3. The Lake Hotel

PROS: The suites recommended for wedding preps are spacious, modern and with a good and clear view of Taal. Hindi sila mahigpit about visitors and meals that will be coming in sa oras ng wedding preps. Ample parking space. Photo ops sa hotel grounds ok lang as long as di daw masyado marami yung tao and paraphernalia involve sa shoot.

CONS: Expensive relative to other venues which is expected of a hotel. Only two to four persons lang ang pwede magovernight so kung buong family sa hotel magoovernight, that would require more rooms and consequently, more money.

4. Crosswinds Tagaytay

PROS: Big and spacious rooms. Reasonable price. The compound is full of pine trees so parang pagpunta mo dun feeling mo nasa Baguio ka or ibang bansa. Di nman mahigpit sa pagpasok ng food and suppliers just as long as ipapaalam mo kung sino yung mga darating because the guard will check.

CONS: If you look at the buildings medyo luma na rin even the privately owned houses with their faded and peeling paints. You can do outdoor photo ops near the hotel grounds lang bawal na sa iba. Ok yung mga shots sa may pine trees and of course shots na ang background mo yung hotel. Other than that, prang wala ng variety for me. It's relatively far from Tagaytay churches so you need to allow more travel time and take into account the traffic.

5. Canyon Woods

We didn't get the chance to do an ocular kasi malayo na pla sya from our Church which is Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. Ang madalas ko nababasa na dito ginagawa ang wedding preps ay yung mga Caleruega and Chapel on the Hill Brides. And so far maganda nman reviews kasi ang rental mo na is buong house, so cheaper compared to hotels. Maganda din yung vicinity ng place. They book them usually through AirBnB.

Any rules I should know about sa Ina ng Laging Saklolo? Like if they are strict sa music, if bawal ba yung may throwing ng petals paglabas ng newly weds, etc?
