March 2017 bride here.
Ito na mga nabook ko.
Church - Nuestra Senora de Gracia, Guadalupe
Venue - City Garden Hotel Makati
HMUA - Nini Marquez
Coordinator - 7ten5 events

Both the church and venue, I havent seen yet personally. Same kami ni h2b working overseas. Napanood ko video ng kinasal sa Nuestra at City Garden. HUhubels. Parang i made a mistake. Hirap talaga kapag hindi nakikita in person.

Now I'm thinking to change the venue sa Phil Army Clubhouse
Suggestions sissies. Help!

Medyo nastress din ako sa wedding preps, nasa AU naman ako ngayon kaya hirap na hirap maghagilap ng suppliers.  1 month engaged pa lang, and fortunately, may natira pang 3pm sched sa mga simbahan sa Tagaytay sa date na gusto namin which is April 2017.  Halos lahat ng simbahan, morning na lang ang available, naloka at naubusan ako ng load kakatawag.. buti na lang available pa yung Ina ng Laging Saklolo.  Book agad! haha. So far, medyo nakarami na ako sa major suppliers. Kumuha na kami ng partial coord para less stress.

Newbie din ako dito, I started as lurker kase kailangan ko ng kadamay. Hahaha. Naaliw ako sa mga post kase we almost have same dilemmas sa planning. And madami pa need ayusin and i-settle na payments. Praying for us all! Happy preps!

Actually nabook ko na yung mga nasa list ko before ko ibook si KTG except church. sya ang nagpunta sa INLS since overseas bride ako and i cant go there personally. Partial coord kinuha ko para hindi na ko mastress sa paghanap ng ibang suppliers

Hi girls! Kumusta wedding preps? Ang tagal kong hindi nakapost dito. Medyo busy the last few weeks lalo na at magsstart na ulit ako ng training. Malayo pa ang January pero need ko na talaga ibook yung ibang suppliers now dahil mula June until January eh mas busy na ako. Medyo marami na akong nabook mula nung huli akong nagparamdam dito, may cake na kami, OTD coordinator tsaka giveaways na kami! Yipee!!!

Anyway, share ko lang yung nabook ko na HMUA, si Ms. Mel Cruz. Got to know her from the Weddings at Work Bride's Yellow Pages. Literal na W@W find kasi I was flipping through the pages tapos hinahanap ko sila online sa FB/google. May promo siya ngayon for airbrush bridal makeup with free retouch/second look and 2 additional heads tapos free trial na rin... all for 8K! Matagal na siyang makeup artist. As in years na. You may want to check her out at sayang ang promo.

Feeling ko Ber months na ako ulit magbubook pag nagmeet kami ng wedding coordinator ko, I took semi / halfway coordination lang and my wedding is on April 2017.

So far, wala pa akong reception stylist -- any reco?

Ok din talaga magbook early, less stress. Pero nakaka pimples talaga itooo! lol

Hi sis BBB21, i suggest quartet, its better cos it makes the reception solemn and romantic. Also, some reception does not allow band. Pero depende pa rin sa preference mo. happy prepping!

Ilang pax ba yung target mo na guests? Have you considered Makati Park and Garden? Parang mura lang dun.

Wala pa ko preps na ginagawa! Wala pa din kasi kami solid plans. But initially we will have a civil wedding dahil impossible ang church because of religion conflict (sa side lang ng parents ni h2b).

Hindi pa ko makapag-decide kung garden wedding or private ceremony na lang. But I think I prefer the latter because of budget. hehe! Right now ang naka-plan pa lang is to get the necessary documents.

Where do I go after this? What's the next step? Thanks mga sis!

^hi rheinfall18, are u talking about marriage licenses already or other docs? I think dapat sa later part pa since the marriage license expires in 6 months if i am not mistaken. 

i think ang una namin ginawa after finally deciding to get married is to set the budget, then look for possible venues na pasok sa budget
