Hi mga Sis!

December 2017 bride to be here.

Pressured na kame ni H2B sa paghahanap ng mga suppliers. Di pa rin kame nakakaattend ng mga bridal fairs Help naman po, 200k strict budget namin as in all-in doon na kasi tight talaga kame. May nakausap na kame sa may Antipolo, 110k - venue & catering pa lang for 100 pax. So super pressured kame panu pagkakasyahin yung remaining 90k

Ano pa po ba yung mga dapat pang isipin na pagkakagastusan bukod sa mga to?
Wedding Rings - 25k (pair na po, may nakausap na kame na gagawa)
Entou - pinag-iisipan namin if kame pa bibili or sila na lang (infinity dress and coat & tie)
Invitation & Give Aways - nagpplan kame sa divisori bumili ng raw and kame na gagawa
Hotel - Since Laguna kame and yung mga friends ko not sure saan mura pero oks na hotel near ANtipolo.
Photog and Video - Medyo may kamahalan toh, yung mga nakikita namin is nagrrange ng 80k-150k
Wedding Gown - nasa 30k yung nakita ko
Flowers - Flowery kasi yung gusto namin para mafeel na garden talaga
Van for transport - since malalayo yung guests namin.
Wedding Officiant - due to religious conflict but still i want traditional wedding. super stressful sa amin to. (nagpost po ako sa christian wedding thread)

Waaaaah! Ang hirap pagkasyahin

Hi! Medyo mahirap nga yang 200,000 wedding for 100 people na gusto mo sa Antipolo. Medyo mahal yang 110,000 na venue + catering kasi kung iisipin mo that's 1,100 per head. Makakuha ka man ng 40K max na photo/video, that will leave you with 50,000 to spend for everything else. Tapos may 25,000 ka pa pala na rings, so 25K na lang. Sorry to burst your bubble. Honestly, I don't think kasya yan for 100 kung ganyan yung budgeting na gagawin mo. Perhaps you will have to let go of some para magkasya.

Ang bulk ng cost ng wedding ay nasa food. If you cut down the number of guests, you will save a lot. or if hindi talaga kaya ang less than 100, you have to cut down your budget for the food to less than 1000 per head. Maraming reputable caterers ang kaya yan. In fact, I was able to haggle Hizon's at 800 pesos per head (disclaimer: 250 naman po ang guests ko so I was able to bring it down to that amount, pero in the end hindi sila yung kinuha ko). Another option is to have the reception sa isang restaurant na. Usually libre na yung venue kung sa restaurant ka maghohold ng reception mo. Cut down your budget sa rings. If you can bring it down to 15K-20K for a pair, you'll save 5,000 to 10,000 which you can use for other things. Tapos check out yung mga nababanggit na murang P/V and limit yourself to 40-50K siguro para mastretch ang budget. Of course, you have to manage your expectations. May mga makakapagprovide ng ganyang services pero syempre bawas na ng inclusions like pre-nup, save the date, albums, SDEs etc. Medyo mahal din ang flowers. I think mas marami ka pang dapat pagaksayahan ng budget than flowers sa reception para magmukhang garden yung place. Sa gown mo, I suggest to visit Divi for that or rent na lang para mas mura and sa entourage, you can ask them to buy na lang for themselves nga para bawas gastos sa inyo. Sa mga lalake, you can ask them to rent sa Gardini Fashion House para maraming options. Actually marami pang kulang diyan. Check mo yung "Who are your wedding suppliers" thread para may idea ka kung [textspeak!]-ano pa yung wala sa listahan mo.

sis. try mo Lumniscate Photography. They have great works and they are cheaper compared to others. They offered me 50K with save the date.  Also, if Antipolo kayo, try  Eugenio Lopez Center for preps and reception and for the Church Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (PIHM) - that is the church used in the movie, A Second Chance of John Lloyd and Bea. I think reasonable ang price nila.  Or, I suggest you get a wedding packages po. There are budget friendly event coordinators that offers all in. For your wedding gown naman sis, sa divisoria marami po na mas mura that is cheaper than 30k but pretty. I will  have mine there and I got it for 15k lang po. Florist: baka 1558 kasi binigyan nila kami ng magandang package with mobile bar. Pero im still thinking kung 1558 or scenta creations.
Invitation: still looking pero we are considering Popgram

Kelangan ba talaga kumuha ng lights and spunds aside sa basic na makukuha sa reception?

Regarding upgrade Lights and Sounds recommend ng Ae and emcee na mag upgrade kasi walang color effect pag walang upgrade. Ang akin nga Package C kinuha ko nagover sa upgrade   pero most of Palazzo Brides here nababasasa ko kahit Package B kinuha nila  ok na daw yun
Sis have you been on bridal fair nung May 15 ata ng Palazzo Verde?
Are you getting ba dancepanels and photobooth c/o Palazzo Verde?
Sino sis yung gagawa ng entou gowns I'll check din and how much?

@Sis stars01. Thank You sis, check ko yung thread na sinasabe mo.

May nakita kame sa may Masinag, L'Aquinum. Although maliit yung place eh okay na rin since up to max 100 lang naman kame lahat. And yung napili naming caterer is Madriaga. Same place na yung wedding ceremony and reception + catering for 100 pax is 100k+ kasi may mga upgrades kame sa lights and decoration.

@jonalynbeverly. Sis, pwede kaya preps lang dun sa eugenio lopez center since may venue na kame? sige sis try ko sa lumniscate photog. btw, sinearch ko siya parang ang ganda ng place. may overlooking ng metro manila. balitaan mo ako sis if oks yung tela and pagkakatahi dun ah?

Hi sis! Same tayo ng question. Sa tingin ko sa lights depende sa venue at theme na peg mo Pag basic kase as in white lang yun.. Still, need ng spotlight para kayo ang focus. Pag outdoor, sabi sakin ng AE namin kailangan daw talaga para maganda quality ng pics. You may also ask your photographer anong lights gamit nila. Sa sounds kung may musician I think kailangan talaga para di sabog yung music pero kung maganda yung sound system ng venue niyo (di old school -- you may ask them) baka no need na. Medyo madami talaga tayong icoconsider hahaha. When we started planning di din namin naisip ang lights and sounds haha.

Sis shyxiena! Wow palazzo ka din pala? Kelan kayo? Hindi ko alam sis yung mga package a-c nila. Kinuha kasi namin is venue lang. Parang nakikita ko nga sa feedback mas ok nga daw upgraded. Musta preps mo sis? Sino florist mo??

^ Hindi ako Palazzo Verde bride though dati, hindi namin masyado iniintindi yung lights and sounds, not until we inquired from our caterer kung meron silang marerecommend. Sobrang mura nung package na binigay sa amin, 8K lang yata tapos when I asked a friend who's also getting married next year, yung total package daw ng nakuha niya was 20K. Nagulat ako sa price difference so we compared the inclusions. Syempre hindi kami mga technical people. Medyo matagal pa bago namin nagets ano yung mga nakasulat dun. We realized na sobrang konti pala nung par led lights na kasama sa 8K package na binibigay sa amin versus sa kinuha ng friend ko from a different supplier. May nakausap din ako na lights and sounds provider who explained to me na kung gusto ko raw ma-set ang mood ng venue ko, i should get quality lights and be mindful of the number of lights na kasama.

Just set up appointment with Ms. Mel Orlina.. Grabe super excited ako. I've been following her even before I got engaged. I'm so excited to conceptualize my wedding gown. June 17 afternoon ang sched ko, can't wait!

Nag first fitting kasi ako nung saturday, bodice pa lang naman, and my wedding is Jan 2017 pa. then one of my friends commented na masyado pa ata maaga.. pero di naman ako yung nagschedule nung  fittings na yun, yung designer naman.. naparanoid naman ako dun sa comment.. i mean may repercussions ba ito?

The costs are adding up and really trying to keep to the budget pero ang hirap!

^ hi sis! Getting married in January 2017 too, and had my lining fitting with Edward Teng second week of May. It should be fine, basta let's make sure we don't gain or loose too much weight.

^^Meixin, dont worry about it. Im sure your last fitting will be scheduled a couple of weeks or a few days before your wedding so the fit will be as close to your measurements as possible. Also, designers have different pacing. Yours might love to do his/her work slowly but surely:)

Sakto lang yan. 2nd fitting ko nga this June na e. Same tayo na Jan 2017 ang wedding sis. Kaya don't mind those who are saying na maaga pa to make asikaso to your gown and all. It's better to be early kesa naman yung naghahabol ka sa oras.

Hi sis tama lang yung timing mo. Si designer rin naman nagset so timeline niya yun. Huwag mo na isipin yung comment ng friend mo. You jest need to maintain your current body para hindi na amraming adjustments as your fittings progress. Huwag na maparanoid sis!

Hi sis! I think you should book your church now. i have read that Calerueaga is always fullybooked for up to a year in advance. For the venue, I attended a Tagaytay wedding before and the venue is in Kimberly Hotel but the wedding is very simple and intimate. Happy preps sis!

hi @LilaFowler! So happy I chanced upon a Bohol bride too! GT doesn't have a separate Bohol thread eh so medyo mahirap maghanap ng feedback on suppliers, lalo na OOT wedding. Where in Panglao are you having your wedding? Are you getting local coordinators? I inquired with a few resorts and one of them recommended Supreme Weddings for coordination -- their rates are actually quite reasonable. Which church are you going for pala? Happy preps!
