Maternity Benefits (SSS/Philhealth)

^I guess so, kasi muntik ng hindi iapprove ng Philhealth yun claim nun na 2nd CS ako last June dahil nirequire daw kasi na pag emergency na lang. Sabi nga ni OB bakit kailangan pang paabutin ni Philhealth na maging emergency yun case ng isang patient para lang magamit yun benefits . Ayun buti na lang naayos namin.

sa mga hindi updated and philhealth, pwede niyo gamitin yung philhealth ni hubby as long as updated siya. ganun kasi nangyari samin sa makati med. bale pina deactivate yung philhealth ko then may mga pina asikaso sa kanya na papeles within the day.
although hindi ko alam kung applicable sa lahat to ha. kasi emergency cs po ako.

^ yes ganun nga sis, ako kasi tinatamad ako ayusin philhealth ko so sabi ko kay hubby idependent na lang sa kanya, nung pinacheck niya hinde pumayag si Philhealth kasi kita sa system na active ako , yung sakin daw ang ayusin ko, hinde naman pwede ipadeactivate yun kasi employed ako.

^^ this is what i did. freelancer na kasi ako when i got pregnant so ang suggestion is for me to use my husband's philhealth. pinadeactivate din yung philhealth ko. i remember i was just asked to fill out forms and show the marriage contract.

yung sss maternity benefit naman, i was able to submit my mat 1 form along with the ultrasound and info from the OB in 2009. hindi ko na naclaim until this week. i went to SSS kasi we have 10 yrs from the time we gave birth to claim it. sayang naman daw. tinanggap naman ng sss rep yung form, birth certificate ng daughter ko and i was asked to give him yung stamped mat 1 and documents. btw, 8 years old na yung anak ko.  busy lang kaya this year lang naasikaso.

^yung maternity notification (mat 1) need maaccomplish agad. sa sss site yata nakaindicate na dapat masubmit yun 60 days from the date of conception. need to provide the ultrasound and info from the OB along with the form. the sss rep will approve it and put a stamp. kami lang nagprocess kasi voluntary member na ako nun. nagchange status ako sa sss before i found out that i was pregnant. mas madali yata magprocess ng maternity claim if employed kasi through the HR of the company.

 i was also asked to open a savings account sa DBP kasi yun ang accredited bank nila. the amount will be deposited to my bank. landbank din yata accredited ng sss. i'll post an update here pag nakuha ko na yung amount. HTH.

^Mat 1 can be submitted from 60 days after conception until before manganak. Then Mat2 naman hanggang 10 years after manganak pwede isubmit

They allow the SSS benefit to be deposited sa BPI account rin, yun ang ginamit ko. I was asked lang kung may personal savings account ako then may pinafill out silang separate form. About 3-4 weeks yung processing ng akin.

Hi mga sissy! May question lang po ako, Employed po ako at manganganak sa April pero wala pa pong inaadvance ang company ko na maternity benefits. Ask ko lang sana kung pwede kayang ako na lang direct mag file ng MAT 2 sa SSS kahit employed pa ko at pag ganun ba ginawa ko direct na ibibigay ng sss ang benefits sakin? and last po may nakapag try na po ba dito na nag file ng maternity leave tapos diretso awol na po or hindi na pumasok ano pong requirements ang hiningi ni sss sa inyo? parang wala na po kasing kwenta yung company ko, late pasahod then ayun nga hindi na makapag advance ng maternity benefits. ^hindi lahat ng companies eh nag aadvance ng maternity benefits, so normal lang naman yun, kumbaga few exception lang yung mga nagbibigay in advance. If you're planning na ikaw na lang magsubmit ng mat2 sa SSS, pwede naman, pero it will take 1 month after submission before mo makuha yun. Also, you have to have your mat1 with you na received ng SSS.

If magresign ka or mag AWOL habang hindi ka pa nanganganak, makukuha mo pa rin yung benefit mo but SSS will require more documents from you (certificate of non-advancement, employment certificate galing sa company, etc). Possible na humingi rin ng certificate of contribution galing sa HR nyo.

I don?t know if may thread na about extension ng Maternity leave. Di ko kasi alam saan ako magpost. Meron na ba sainyo nakasubok humingi ng Doctor?s note or medical certificate para maextend kahit 1 month ang maternity leave niyo? Ayaw kasi magfeed ni baby ko sa bottle and naghahanap pa ako ng yaya. Medyo mahigpit kasi company namin. Thank you mga sis

Hi sis. Me nakapag pa extend pero kasi may operation ako sa ovary kasabay ng cs. Thru magna carta law ako nakapag pa extend. Max of 3 months or 90 days lang yun. 78 days na sa cs kaya additional 12 days lang.

second baby ko na to, first baby ko cs due to cord coil. sabi ni doc, i can still opt for normal delivery sa second, but sabi ko gusto ko cs nalang para mailabas agad ng walang stress. so ginusto ko lang,...

will my sss maternity benefit be approved for cs?

nalilito kasi ako sa office sabi need med cert bakit ako ics. eh dahil gusto ko lang naman.

^i have the same case na 1st at 2nd baby cs. Yun 2nd dahil too early yun gap ng pregnancy (6mos pa si panganay) kaya automatic cs. Binigyan lang ako ng ob ng med cert stating the delivery method then justification. Sinend ko din copies ng supporting docs ng 1st baby to justify the mode of delivery. Sa case mo sis need mo justify kasi mas malaki nga naman ang benefit pag cs package (P39k vs 30k pag NSD) saka mas mahaba ang VL diba pag cs diba ☺

^yes thanks sis. mukhang il opt nalang to reimburse kesa sa certification. para nandun na lahat ng paperworks.

sabi naman ni hr, wala naman daw nadedeny sa cs claim kaso yun ang worry ko,kung magpapakatotally honest ako na kasi gusto ko lang, hindi no choice. (but truth is, para malabas agad, yung panganay ko kasi halos no heartbeat na nung nilabas eh )

Hi sis, employed ka ba? If yes, mabilis lang. Ako kasi, employed and my EDD is on Aug 8. Nung first trimester, nagsubmit na ako ng notification (MAT 1) sa SSS. Tapos last week, pinasubmit na ako ng HR ng screenshot ng SSS premium and Acknowledgment from SSS website including SSS calculation, then they informed me na papasok na yung 32k benefit this July payroll.
so makukuha ko na bago ako manganak.

Tapos yung Maternity Assistance after delivery, yun yung wala akong idea if mabilis lang yung pag-avail.

1 month after magsubmit ng MAT2. Sometimes, employers give it in advance though pero not all.

Hi po. I am currently pregnant
maschedule kami ng CS by mid July dahil madalas ako magbleed at low lying placenta po ako.. ever since first trimester ko, naka bed rest na ako.. so i resigned from my work last May 31, 2018.

Nakapag file po ako Mat 1 nung January 2018 employed pa po ako. But they only gave me photocopy of the received Mat1.

kailangan po ba original yung Mat1 na hawak ko para makapag file po ako sa sss ng Mat2 after ko po manganak?

I got married last April 8, 2018. Makukuha pa rin po ba SSS maternity benefits kahit hindi ko muna changr status? kc po di ko kaya talaga pumunta sa SSS.. may sickness benefit pa nga ako approved na pero di ko rin maprocess dahil naka bed rest pa rin po ako..

sa philhealth po ba na benefits ok lang po ba kahit single pa ako sa MDR ko? or need ko talaga ipa update into married [textspeak!] status?

sabi ng sss personal daw kc dapat ilakad yung sickness at maternity claims.. di naman po ako makapunta sa SSS or Philhealth dahil konting kilos ko lang dinudugo na ako at sumasakit po tyan ko....
