Hi Zhell,

Salamat

Need help and clarification regarding sss maternity benefit.

April 2016 - I resigned from work so stop na rin SSS contribution ko.

I?m planning na mag voluntary ako kaso not sure how much contribution is better and if kelan ako magstart ng bayad para maka claim ako ng maternity benefit. EDD is March 2019.

My husband is an active SSS contributing member, but I was informed di siya pwede mag claim ng maternity benefit kahit dependent ako. Is it true?

^No, sis dapat sarili mong SSS, much better start ka na to pay for July,Aug, Sept. Lakihan mo hulog para malaki kuha mo. Sayang July 31 ngayon nakahabol ka sana sa hulog for Apr, May, June.
We don't need more laws, we need implementation.

For example 1,760 x 3 months = 5,280 for the quarterly.

Hi mga sis.

I'm pregnant and due ko sa May 2019.

In my case kasi, unemployed ako since July 2018 up to present, so last contribution ko is July 2018 pa which is sa dati ko pang employer. From then, no contribution na. But upon learning that i am pregnant hinulugan ko na agad yung months na pwede ko mahulugan para ma-avail yung benefit which is ang nahabol ko na lang is July-Sept 2019(i?ll be due on feb 2020). Thank you.

Ang due ko is June 2020.

Thank you mga sis.

^ banwa1. Mukang maliit na lang sis.. I hope my calculation is correct you can double check sa link

Contingency month/Delivery month: June 2020

Semester of contingency: Jan2020- June 2020

12 month prior to semester of contingency: Feb2019- Dec2019

From Feb 2019- Dec 2019, member should have atleast 3 months contribution to qualify for the sss maternity benefit.
(Gawin you na lang siguro pay the maximum amount of contribution for Oct/Nov/Dec 2019).

Get the monthly salary credit of the 6 highest posted contribution during the 12 month period prior to semester of contingency.

Please check here as an example:

Hi mga momshies. I'm a new mom here. I'm currently 12weeks and 2 days. I was researching re: sss and philhealth benefits, and I'm glad I came across this thread. As of now, I haven't filed my mat 1 sa employer ko. I'm planning to have if filed sa January 2020 na lang.

My partner and I are planning to have our civil wedding on February or March 2020. So If I filed for Mat 1 ng January 2020, ipapachange status ko na rin agad on March 2020. Magkakaproblem kaya ako sa reimbursement? Thanks so much sa sasagot.  :-*

Actually I have the form na sis. Iffill-out ko na lang, mejo hindi ko lang masingit yung pag-fill out.. Ang tamad kong mag-sulat e. Haha! Pero I read naman na sa form "at least 60 days from the date of conception but not later than the date of delivery/miscarriage/procedure".

Pero ngayon, isusubmit ko na. :)

Sis up ko lang thread na to.
Im a voluntary member since based in Australia na ko but continuous sss contributions ko. I was able to compute my maternity pay (im due next month) from sss website actually phone lang gamit ko ok naman basta may access kayo. Nakalagay dun how much makukuha nyo. 😊
May option din to enrol bank account. Im guessing dun nila ipapasok yung benefits mo.
