OTD Wedding Coordinator (Part 5)

Hi b2bs! I just have a question. Is it really necessary and helpful to have an OTD coordinator on your wedding day?

Kung ang guest list nyo is 150 pataas, it is recommended to hire an OTD unless you have very capable friends and relatives that could help you out. And the more detailed and mas maraming involve na pangyayari ang wedding mo, all the more reason to get an otd. Less stress kasi kapag meron, so you could just enjoy the moment instead of being caught up with all that's going on. And another advantage of having a coordinator is sila na nkikipagusap sa mga suppliers on your behalf and they can even haggle and get discounts for you.

Yes sis. Kapag otd dpat almost all suppliers mo nabook mo na. In my case kasi yung otd ko nung nireview nya yung list of suppliers ko, yung iba kakilala nya so kinausap nya para makakuha ng discount which I requested by the way. And the first time we met papunta ko sa Tagaytay bridal fair kaya sinamahan nya nrin ako and I booked my L/S there pero sya nkipagusap kasi kakilala na rin nya and she got me a better package. So depende sa otd mo rin kasi once nabook mo na sila free consultation ka naman na and you can make request or mapatulong ka sa ibang bagay. They can help you out or they can just say na di na kasama sa duties nya yun so its important to really have a good relationship with your coordinator and chose one na talagang mpagkakatiwalaan mo and makakatulong sayo.

@Miming - sorry to reply to your message so late. But I am just a recent bride of Imbitado.
Ayie was also my host. Ang masasabi ko lang,  hands down ako sa kanila. I had a problem kasi, the night prior to the wedding eh hindi pa din ako complete sa guest list and entourage members dahil last minute nagback out sa side ng husband ko. And mahina pa signal sa venue namin kaya di nila nakuha agad yung list. Either my dala silang sarili nilang printer or nachika nila ang staff ng Balay Indang.  Wala akong naging problema sa kanila. As in. May mga minor issues but it wasn't their fault (kasi my mum kept handing over to the wrong people kahit ilang beses ko ng sinabi na kay Ayie lang maghand over or kay Anton - my bridal manager).

Wala akong masabi kay Anton. Dun ko naramdaman na para akong artista na may napakagaling na PA. I got fed breakfast lunch and cocktails and dinner. Even though wala ako ganang kumain kasi I felt so high that day hehe.  I got nourished. 

I didn't move from the makeup chair that day. Kung may kailangan sila sa akin, si Anton or one of the galamays will do it. All they need is a name, and they will look for that person. Everybody got paid. Yung mga kailangan magdagdag ( because of added time) sila muna nagabono, then at the end of the day nag clear kami ng account. I only got them for OTD, but the care I received, not to mention sa lahat ng kulit ko sa kanila eh parang hindi lang OTD ang kinuha ko. Super sulit ang Imbitado. hehe.

^habang binabasa ko sinabi mo sis nag flash back wedding ko. super ganyan din naramdaman ko non sobrang alaga ako ni Ayie + team! spoiled! lahat na! di ko talaga makakalimutan pag dating namin tanong agad anong starbucks flavor gusto namin. dahil sa starbucks, hindi kami nagutom haha! hindi na din kasi kami nakakain non kaya habang nireretouch ako naubos ko yung starbucks!

booked SMA Weddings na for our otd yey so happy! sheena's so warm to talk to. among our shortlist kasi, sila lang din yung may personal experience ako from preps til reception dahil naging abay ako sa event nila plus the bride also highly recommended them. at dahil mas nakamura ako kesa sa original target ko na otd, napagbigyan na din ako ni fiance sa number one choice kong photo which was out of budget before weeeee!

stylus may mas malala pa diyan. I once saw it shared sa isang wedding suppliers group on FB also. During the bride's aisle walk, one of the coords was already visible during the opening of the door then she couldn't stop herself pa from arranging the bride's gown, eh too late na because the whole thing was caught on cam. Then one of the stylist crossed the aisle pa bitbit yung isang vase ng flowers. Poor bride. Imagine you're supposed to be alone when the door opened pero the bride has minions around her, oblivious to what they were doing.

Sis pinaydiaspora, honestly during my wedding medyo ganyan din. Dapat kasi may veil shot pa ako habang nasa labas ng church (while waiting for doors to open) kaso bigla bumukas doors. Pag open may staff ng p/v team sa likod ko hawak hawak nya yung veil with his both hands. Narinig ko pa sya sabi "naku po yari".

Buti na lang sa sde di masyado halata. When i watched raw videos, ibinaba nya muna ang veil then tumakbo sya palayo sa likod ko. Bago sya mabilis tumakbo sa gilid. So di obvious na dun sya galing sa mismong likuran ko.

Di naging big deal sakin kasi napa ngiti talaga ako pag open ng doors dahil dun. Kaya din di siguro ako emotional sa bridal march naunahan na ng comedy
