Hi, can anyone give a comment, 300k budget namen for 150pax. Kaya ba?

nakakalula kasi, venue palang na 40k budget wala akong mahanap.

sis you might want to consider venues with caterer also. parang bumababa kasi yung price ng venue if you go that way. For venues around that budget I only know of Ramon Magsaysay Hall, Le Parc not sure lang about Prism Plaza. but Manila/Pasay area sila lahat.

Prism has affordable packages too but they're not that flexible, and I mean it. I booked them for my wedding January next year and I have a headache negotiating things since my preferred suppliers aren't accredited with them.

I think they're convenient/reasonable, though, if you avail their packages. The downside is, you probably won't get a lot of choices in caterer, etc.

Le Parc is alright. But they only offer venue rental. so that's a fixed 40k.

^sis hermione28 - i reckon kaya naman ang 300 sa 150k guests basta agree on the priorities. you have to take scrutiny of even the smallest detail dahil may katumbas yun na cost (likesay, ultimo belt ng father of bride and groom do you have to buy for them, shoes ng parents, etc). no matter how you set a budget for a wedding, aaminin naming mga ikinasal na na talagang lalampas sa budget. sis sa food ka bumawi saka sa program (make it superfun with games) di nila makakalimutan kasal mo promise. the rest of the details except for the wedding vows, second priority na. personally, my wedding gown was 6500 from divi, but our food for 150pax inabot ng 200k. p/v 70k. so depende talaga sa priority niyo ni H2B. try to adjust your budget sa food at venue sis para mas may mahanap ka na maayos na supplier, tama ang mga advise ng mga sis dito na hanap ka ng venue na mayroon ng partner caterer.

hello mga sis😊 OM's di ko expected na it cost a lit na pala ang magpakasal now.. we are overseas bride and groom and we only have a limit of 800k but on pag uwi madami pa palang kulang at need to adjust kaya we spend 1M for our wedding but we are satistified naman sa outcome kaya were so happy kasi sulit ang ginastos lahat ng enjoy at sarap balik balikan ang wedding namin kong pwde lang ulitin kaso magastos na!hahaha!

Looking at 300k for 150 guests. 550/head for food and 12k for the venue (Casa Manila) By the way, civil ceremony lang ito. Rites and reception both in Casa Manila na.

I  finally organized my wedding budget spreadsheet and calculated the percentages of what we are spending for our wedding items. It is funny but I can really see where I kinda went overboard with spending.

Anyways here is basically the breakdown of our budget:

Crew Meals, tips, and supplier tokens  - 3%
Lights and sounds- 3%
Prenup video and photo expenses  - 3%
Bridal gown and accessories - 5%
Photo and Video - 8%
Wedding rings - 14%
Flowers/Styling -15%
Food, liquor, corkage - 33%

----Others expenses - 16% (invitations, ento gowns, ento gifts, entertainment, cake, prep venue, coordinator etc)


Whaaaaaa... this is such an eye opener! I guess it really shows my priorities.

I didnt include the honeymoon in the budget anymore too =)

It automates everything and allows you to at least gauge your budget based on an allowable budget. Ex, already the reception took up about 45-50% of the budget and adjusted the rest of the percentages from thereon.

Having a spreadsheet like this really makes you think about your priorities in your wedding. Example, yung iba ok lang sa kanila ang P/V na package and would rather spend on their gowns but in our case, since advertising and art yung background namin, naghanap talaga kami ng suppliers with the same tastes

Our wedding is in Australia. Budget namin for ceremony, venue, catering, flowers, cake, photographer, rings, marriage officiant, and bridal car nasa P250k (AU$7,000) for 40 pax lang. Ang tanging nagpamahal ay catering -- P3,500 pp ($100). Yung photog mej mahal din, 2 hours ceremony coverage P52k ($1500). Yung cake namin (2-tier chocolate cream-covered cake) discounted kasi friend ng mum ni fiance P10k ($300). Flowers, DIY lang.

I made our invitations using Canva. Printout will probably cost P2k. My wedding gown is being tailored here at hindi na kasama sa budget sa taas. Wala kaming video kasi di kaya ng budget. Ang mahal ng rates doon $3k up. Huhu.

Wala kaming lights and sounds (magdadala nalang siguro ko speaker dock para sa garden ceremony lel). May microphone naman sa reception. No event stylist and coordinator din. Yung bridal entourage, bahala sila bumili ng mga damit nila. Binigyan ko lang ng color. Hehe

Edit: Forgot to add, di pa namin nacocompute magkano gagastusin sa paghelp sa mom and two sisters ko sa visa, flight, and accommodation. Siguro nasa $1k each. Dami gastos hay.

we budgeted Php 350k for 150pax on our wedding, lahat lahat na.  but in reality, we spent about (close to) 400k.  our actual guest count was at 165 pax.  roughly na-estimate namin ng tama yung headcount and somehow yung budget namin ay di naman nag overboard.  sa actual expense namin na 400k, may mga di kami na-account or budgeted before.  pero on that budget din, may mga "free" na yun.  so siguro pag yung mga free ay binayaran namin, aabot kami ng about 420k sa lahat ng gastos ng wedding.  ang mahal! haha!

Initially nung planning pa lang sabi ko 200k lang spend namin sa kasal. But when we started the preparation lumobo na ng 350k waahh... Target lang namin 100-120 guests. Church, Wedding Reception, coordinator and photo video nasa 250k na. Plus pa ibang suppliers, total is 350k. Just like you sis tinapay, may mga di rin kami na budget before pero may mga naspend kami during wedding preparation. So kung isasama ko yun close 400k na. Doble sa initial budget namin.

Sa isang supplier kasi, may mga add-ons or upgrade. Syempre gusto namin i-upgrade. Kaka-upgrade  sa mga suppliers yung nagpalobo ng budget namin hehe

Hi Sis. Sa Manila ka ba magpapakasal? If yes, medyo tight pero i believe kaya.

Our very simple wedding is in the province. Marami ako free at hindi na babayaran (cake, own car, my gown, florist, band, photobooth styling, etc. thank you Lord for great friends!). My emcees are my MOH and Best Man. My caterer is 300/pax with 4 different dishes for cocktail food, 3 different drinks, 4 main course and free use of his fondue fountain. My wedding will be simple: no pre-nup (if ever meron DIY), SDE, etc. I have a very simple gown. I have 4 pairs of PS, MOH, 4bridesmaid, 3 SS, (syempre may partners yun) 4 flower girls and 3 bearers. Preparations is here in the house but I'm still giving some money for preparations since dito ko rin papatulugin ang mga bisita ko from malayo...

My excel budget says it's about 260K for 230 guests (kasama na suppliers at mga bata). This excludes the rings and honeymoon.

We wanted <150 pax lang but it ballooned. Alam nyo naman! You have to sacrifice some. Kasi ako I just focused na mabasbasan ng pari ang aming matrimonya. It also helps that my friends are really really generous! They know my wedding is on a budget kaya sinagot nila yung ibang bagay. Example is my gown. I wanted a PhP1200 gown as in I wanted to beat Kitchie! Hahaha one got fed up and sasagutin na niya daw at magpatahi na lang daw kami kasi iba pa din daw yung ganoon. hehe Gusto ko sana 150K lang ang gastusin and join the club in the other thread. Not that we can't afford but because I want a pragmatic and intimate wedding. But God blessed us and He has a different plan.

I forgot the exact but it was just 10k to 15k or baka 7k nga lang. Well Civil kami. I forgot the requirements if how much nagastos namin but as usual yung kainan ang magpapamahal. We availed the monster meal sa Shakeys tapos buffet style kahit na kaunti lang kami. Umaga naman yun or before lunch so wala masyadong tao. At the same time birthday ng nephew ko so double celebration.

Kami din, very particular kami with the reception styling and the photo video. Of course, while the food is also very important, importante din yung itsura ng lugar para mafeel mo yung theme mo talaga. It's also very hard to find stylists who do more than just flower setups

Also ended up paying more for an upgraded photobooth para yun na lang yung take home nila over wedding favors na baka itapon lang afterwards.

Overall, pansin ko lang kung highly personalized yung theme ng wedding, it adds up to the expenses (ex. specific flowers, specific P/V, backdrops, lights, etc. etc.).  Whereas kung kukuha ka ng all in package, wala kang masyadong say sa setup but it's cheaper and less of a hassle.

My budget also for 160 guests is max of 350k. Hopefully magfit! Hahahaha. Pero feeling ko (hopeful lang eh! Haha), pasok sa 350k lahat excluding yung honeymoon namin. Kasi yung gown ko, ill buy na lang sa divisoria, then my entourage suits and gowns eh kanya kanya silang bili. Haha. I told them, since closest ko lahat sila, na if pwede sila na lang magprovide ng sarili nilang gown and iyon na iregalo nila for us. And hindi sila mahirap kausap so pak.

Tagaytay wedding pala kami. So im still hoping ang praying na wag ng lumobo ang expenses! For the catering, we get queensland. Sila kasi ang cheapest And masarap. For the pv, i have a friend whos doing this, we got them for 45k, nice package na yun. And reception is 60k. Makeup artist is only 8k (since cousin ko sya and he is doing this), florist (7k) is yung kapitbahay namin na florist din talaga. Yun lang, kasi first time nila magdedesign ng caleruega church pero trusted ko naman sila, besides, caleruega is beautiful even with simple setups.

The rest of the expenses are minor na lang. happypreps to us!

Two weeks to go for me and we are 50k within our initial budget. There was a time when we were already nearly 300k over that budget but somehow reduced it back to fit. I secretly hope my FMIL sticks to her word about paying for the caterer para we'll be 500k within hahaha. Saya! Honeymoon fund na rin yun

Kami din nasa 20% na exceeding. We moved din kasi our wedding then penalized by some suppliers with their 2016 rates. No choice kasi malaki din nadown na namin with them. Ayoko na nga tignan yung spreadsheet ko. Now im cutting cost to some parts but when we changed the date we also changed the theme. Good thing when we moved the date all of them are available on that day kasi nabook na namin halos lahat.

Need your advise kung how much buffer ba dapat ang meron? Esp kung mid range suppliers? Para i know sana kung magkano pa yung kaya ko extend sa budget namin.
