we spent about 415k for our wedding overall and i got to say that it was all worth it and more.
here's a breakdown of our expenses

malaki din ang natipid namin sa pagkuha ng packages and looking out for bargains. also we skipped on some suppliers that we think are dispensable for us like the bridal car, stylist, lights & sounds and band.
no regrets naman and i think our wedding was a good reflection of our simple personalities.

kaya i highly suggest talaga to create a spreadsheet with a list of your priorities and how much you are willing to allocate for each supplier. mas madali mag-focus and keep track of everything if your budget is well organized.

Sis f878 Hindi pa namin namemeet ulit yung caterer namin pero ask ko lang how does kid's meal work? Kayo ba bumili nun or provided ng caterer niyo? That's one of our pending question kasi if kids are included in our headcount pero di pa namin sila na mimeet ulit. TIA!

we preferred not to include the kids in the buffet headcount since hindi naman nila masusulit yung dame ng serving. nago-offer ng packed meals yung caterer namin so sa kanila na kame kumuha for the kiddie meals.
there are some naman who opt for delivery ng fastfood or resto. your coordinator can help assist sa payment and distribution on the day.
usually caterers don't mind naman if iba ang kunin nyo for kiddie meals but let them know na lang siguro in advance para aware sila.

^same advise from our coordinator to not count the kids sa buffet. So naisip namin to just buy happy meal for the kids na mas ma-aappreciate pa nila

Tiffany24, ask your caterer first baka they have kids meal para you don't have to order from outside. Our caterer has kids meal menu (P300 yata per head if i remember it right) hassle kasi if oorder pa outside kung pwede nman iprovide or pwede mong irequest sa caterer.

Our wedding budget is 500k-600k. Hopefully enough na yan to cover all expenses and miscellaneous. Di namin gusto ng grand all we want is a comfortable, fun and memorable wedding.

You can ask your caterer they have kids meal usually ranging from 250-350 pesos only mas tipid unlike isama sa buffet ng guests also crew meals

our caterer offers kids meal (350/plate) or half plate for 6-12 year old (half the price of buffet rate). below 6 years old is free. kiddie meals with toys is also one of our options. we have lots of kids in our guest list kaya we're really specific with this.

Kami konti lang kiddie guests namin sis bzbee pero pag wala si caterer na kid's meal parang cute din yung kiddie meals with toys. parang/feeling ko mas maappreciate ng mga bata

We plan na we sill buy nalang kiddie meal from fastfood. Kasi don namam talaga emjoy mga kids. Nanghihinayang kasi ako sa 300 per head ng caterer namin vs 100+ ng fast food may free toy pa sila. Pero buti di ko pinush to. Dahil sa madami namam guests di nakapunta, buffet nalang sila at ang mga kids nag enjoy sa starbucks

actually our OTD suggested the kiddie meal with toys, sila na nga lang daw bibili for us on the day, but she also said we should check first the headcount kasi baka nga marami ng sobra sa buffet at hindi na kailangan umorder pa ng separate. we have like 30 kids sa guest list. i begged fiance to make it an adult event pero hindi daw talaga pwedeng hindi kasama ang kids sa family nila.

our caterer has kids meals at 350-360 head i think. basta minumum of 10. full headcount daw kasi sila if ever. e sayang naman knowing gaano sila ka pihikan sa food. baka bigyan pa rin yan ng parents nila ng buffet food though pero ang laki ng matitipid namin for kids meals. we might distribute activity packs (coloring books etc) na rin. hirap gustuhin ng adult only affair--ang dami ngtatanong kung pwede dalhin yung kids nila..oh well...

Sa kids kasi mahina talaga sila kumain like kung ages 1 to 4. Pero depende din eh may nephew ako 10 years old ang hina din kumain.

nasa 15 yung guest namin na kids, parang sayang lang if count sila sa number of heads. Anyway confirm ko lahat kay AE on our meet up next week pero mas bet ko yung happy meal para ma enjoy din ng mga kids. sana nga lang pwede yung ganun

i think kaya naman yan sis. better talaga kung may list kayo ng "priorities" nyo kung ano mga gusto nyo pagkagastusan nang malaki. most of the couples splurge on cater ofcourse, photo and video, styling, so depende sa inyo.
