The watercolor pencils I bought are creamy, so vibrant sya, Then I tried mixing 2 colors, then used a wet brush, maganda naman effect.

Madali lang, sis, but you have to check muna if your paper can take a wet medium.

Or baka di lang ako marunong. LOL.

In short, they have their use pero mejo ingat lang but they're versatile because you can use them wet or dry.

Hooked on this as well and it's supposed to be promote mindfulness pero there's a tendency to be OC and addicted to it, so nakaka-stress na sya. ;D Seriously though, I've observed I sleep better after coloring and my comprehension is sharper. But it may be coz I've been watching TV less and coloring more these days.

Agree!

I'm trying out this new hobby too. Coloring is a pretty nice stress reliever. I bought my colouring book at NBS. It's the one by Thaneeya McArdie. 315pesos siya. Currently, I'm using just my Faber Castel coloured pencils, Crayola Twistable Crayons and Art Attack coloured markers. I'm considering on buying gel pens na rin. It's pretty addicting!

count me in!

I asked my hubby last May to buy a coloring book in FullyBooked titled Secrets of Paris, nakakaaliw lang magkulay.

Next plan ko bilhin yung paint your own Impressionism / Monet / Degas / Cezanne at Manet
I am still trying to learn the strokes for color pencil and would love to add up yung Faber Castell na color pencils na watercolors. I am setting a budget for my new hobby kasi nga hubby wouldn't allow me to go all out kasi I am still starting palang daw. :P

To think she's so busy at work and yet finding time to do the adult coloring books. :)

I noticed that when I started coloring, nagiging relaxed ako.  Di na tumataas bp ko -- hahaha!  I look forward to coloring yet I am not good at color combinations and shading.

Me too I'm not good with color combination and I only have limited colors. I want to splurge on more colors pa but I read na good quality color pencils allows you to do the color combinations. Ito rin yung gusto ko matutunan.

I hope this helps :) As MUA kasi, we have to apply the color theory. Pero I admire pa din those who can do color combinations by instinct. Mechanical kasi masyado pag may rules.

hello everyone!! kolorista here since August 2015 and until now I'm loving this even more!

are you guys part of the coloring for adults ph group on facebook?

I love the creative haven coloring books. It's affordable and magaganda and maraming yung designs. I don't buy those expensive coloring books kasi super mahal. I'd rather buy the creative haven or design originals series kasi in a PHp 599 book, i can buy two coloring books na.

I just bought the prismacolor scholar pencils and I love it! Hindi kasi kaya sa budget yung premier. =D
