I went to the nearby NBS to look for Crazy Cats. Apparently all the coloring books are nasa customer service so dyahe because their collection is soooo extensive and I wanted to see everything!!! Napabili tuloy ako ng 4 other books dahil nahiya ako sa saleslady ang taas ng inakyat niya to get them. Nakakaadik maghoard!

hi, i'd like to ask po for those who ordered books from bookdepository.com. Kapag reorder yung item, may monitoring pa rin ba sila ibinibigay sa inyo? Like when the 2nd item has dispatched. I received a book kasi kaso yellowish yung pages tapos old edition yung publication date. their CS reorder the item.

You know something is very popular when you see it all over 168 in Divisoria. The "Secret Garden" coloring book is selling like hotcakes there at P200-250 each, along with other popular titles. And a lot were buying in bulks. So beware of those selling online, know the source. Because I'm sure that these are not originals.

^^ haven't tried nor experienced that sa bookdepository, so I wouldn't know how to track re-orders. But curious ---  Was the re-order free of charge? You didn't send back the other book anymore?

^ I was actually able to buy japeyks, but not Secret Garden. I got the book (Fantasy Alice in Wonderland) sa OLX knowing it was not orig. The paper was thick, but powdery, and some pages yung illustration hindi fine yung lines, parang hindi na-copy maayos hehe.

BTW, it's kinda hard to tell the fake from the orig sa picture lang, I mean if online. Dapat talaga you can kilatis in person. Even if it's mura, it may not mean it is fake. It is known naman na kahit sa text books, pagdating sa Asia, there are legit prints na mas mura and iba ang IBN number talaga kasi locally na na-print (by a licensed publication, that is). 

* Not saying the one in Divi is orig, of course.

^I agree!  I saw 2 copies actually, Secret Garden (Chinese version daw), the paper and print was nice. While the other one I saw was Animal Kingdom (same Chinese version), it was the same as what you have described, some illustrations have blurry lines and paper was thick nga but not fine.  Both were bought at P200 in Divisoria.

Yun nga lang yung risk when buying online, you'll never be sure if fake or not.  Siguro try to get from more "reputable" sellers na lang. Ok lang kasi if the selling price is also as low, kaso naman the others still sell them at a higher price almost the same as with the ones bought in Amazon or local bookstores.

^^free of charge po dahil yung CS ang nagfile ng re-order though wala siya log kung kelan idi-dispatch coz they're using the same order number. At hindi na nila na-mention what to do about the first book. hope this 2nd book eh ok na

Meron sa NBS Precious Pages 30pages for only 150php

I love coloring books ever since.  May coloring book ako before and 64 crayons pa gamit ko.  Nagulat ako bigla nauso yung adult coloring books.  Anyway, bought myself 2 coloring books from NBS.  naka P1,200+ ako all in for 2 coloring books (ZEN Mandalas and Calm na book) and Faber Castel 36 Water Colour Pencils.

Ok naman ako sa FC and sa quality ng paper ng coloring books na nabili ko.  I refused to buy online muna.  I want to see the real thing, medyo OC ako sa papel at ipangco-color.
Now I want to try gel pens/markers.  Baka isunod ko bilhin si staedler or stabilo.
Saan merong Sakura Gelly Roll pens?  ang ganda ng quality ng gel pens na to.  Kahit mabasa yung paper hindi agad nag smudge and yung kaisa isahang gel pen na nabili ko before more than five years na hindi nag dry yung ink. Mas prefer ko kasi si Sakura over Muji gel pens kasi mas affordable eh.

I prefer colleen color pencils over FC because for a 50php difference (24 colors), the former is softer and color looks more vibrant. Sa glitter gel pen naman okay ang M&G Festival (1.0 tip) at 16.75php.

 Haven‘t tried using markers.  Hindi ba masyado litaw ang color ng markers if used in same page as color pencils?

Just want to share...

Went to Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street last Sunday and they have plenty of stocks of adult coloring books --- Secret Garden, Enchanted Forest, Creative Haven coloring books (Owls, Fanciful Faces, Dream Doodles, Creative Cats, Whimsical Gardens, etc.), Animal Kingdom, Outside the Lines, Art Therapy, etc.

Powerbooks Serendra also has plenty of Creative Haven coloring books and Posh Coloring books. And I think they are part of the ongoing Powerbooks "Power Sale". So you might get them at a discount.

Hi sisses, may i ask how much is Secret Garden coloring book being sold in Manila? I saw some here in Taipei for 215NT, roughly 320+ pesos

^oh I think mura na sya at that cost sis.  I believe nasa P500 yata dito ang secret garden, not sure ha.
Pero nag try ako umorder sa amazon nasa P600+ sya pag inorder...

got some gel pens today, monami brand at P21.75 each from NBS.  four colors lang muna binili ko.  Nanghihinayang ako to buy sets yung ibang color kasi hindi ko naman need na.  Oh! and ZIG kure are so expensive pala, pero mukhang sulit kasi refillable.  Mura kaya ito sa Japan?

Phase out na pala sa NBS yung sakura gelly roll   Hays san kaya meron pa nito?

^yung P500-750 po kasi if original Secret Garden printed in Italy. Marami na kasi version yan at meron din daw 'fake' kuno.

^^may iba yata type nang zig na hindi refillable. Marami nang stores dito sa Metro na nagcacarry ng Zig. For Sakura gel, meron online seller po, try artmedia at sa fb na fassion Shumi to Ryoko.

Hahaha i think its addicting, currently i have 11 adult coloring books

Currently I have seven books at plan ko na to stop buying more. Coloring materials na lang siguro though I pretty much have the basics na. My favorites so far are the Colleen color pencils (I have the 775, 787, and 785 -- 775 daw ang pinaka vibrant among the three but frankly I can't tell the difference ) that I blend with my Maped ColorPeps, KK Watercolor Pens that I surprisingly liked, and Li'l Hands Washable Markers.

Have also recently tried experimenting with oil pastels, and I'm liking it kasi vibrant colors and easier blending, so baka simulan ko na the pages with bigger images na ini-skip ko before kasi nakakatakot lol.

One-sided lang din lahat ng books ko except for Secret Garden na nakaka-overwhelm sa dami at liit ng mga kukulayan. Gusto ko gamitan ng markers pero but tumatagos sa likod dahil heavy ako mag-color.

The Hue Can Do It coloring book is nice din, pero sobrang artsy ng images kaya nakaka-intimidate, parang hindi siya pang-amateur colorists. Haha.

Wtrye. Currently i have gel pens, glittered pens, colored pencils, oil pastels, colored pens also. I am waiting for my polychromos 120  wood box gift ng tita ko from states. Kasi she knows im into arts kasi talaga kaya yun na gift nya for my birthday daw.
