I bought the last piece ng Prismacolor sharpener sa True Value Shangrila kahapon. Maganda kasi may narrow at wide yung sharpener.

I'm looking for a brush pen na refillable. Hindi ako nakakita nung nagpunta ako sa Craft Carrot sa megatrade kahapon.

Bumili ako ng FC 12pc mini watercolour pencils. Magp-practice muna ako. Hehe.

^ refillable brush pens - check out copic sketch or ciao markers. I ordered ciaos 36pc set a from amazon for $88. Galing japan though so if you know anyone in or going to japan, baka pwede ka magpabili. The set i got selles for P5450 here.

^meron po ako nakita Pentel Aquash Waterbrush, Sakura Koi at Zig Kuretake. Sa Craft Carrot P200 each size yung Sakura Koi. While may online seller na around P950+ yung 3 sizes on all brands 

off topic question po: paano po ang shipping nung order nyo po. You bought from amazon (US?) from Japan. Ilan days bago nyo po makuha at anong courier ang gamit nyo po from amazon/seller to Philippines? Usually kasi US based lagi pinipili ko pag bumibili ako sa amazon.

Hi sis! Me too! Very expensive nga lang yung type ko na Prismacolor. I am using faber castell but the ordinary pa lang, meron din kasi yung polychromos brand nila. I will asses myself first, baka magsawa din kasi.

^^ yung aquash waterbrush is used mainly for water for blending colors.

yung sakura at zig hindi yata refillable. I chose between zig clean color brush pens and copic ciao markers (dual tip - brush and chisel) but decided on the latter.

pwede um-order nito sa ebay or sa amazon. kung sa ebay, pwede naman shop ditto diretso. but I chose to order from amazon US (so from japan pupunta US muna bago umabot dito) but I felt na safer ako dyan in terms of customs charges.

for US purchases, we use forwarders like forex or pobox. pag wala akong box, nakikisabay ako sa boxes ng friends ko. or sometimes, pag wala talagang kasabay, I use an online shopper. sya bumibili for me tapos sya na bahala sa box papunta dito.

I bought Zig Clean color brush pens sa Craft Carrot. Maganda po siya. Hindi halata ang streaks kaso feeling ko andami ink na inilalabas

^minsan po kasi depende kung paano ka po mag-color. May mabigat at magaan na kamay. Meron din kung like mo mag-invest sa good quality and long-lasting, mahal nga lang.

^ Mabigat kamay ko sis hehe kaya alangan ako gumamit ng markers pa. Saka na siguro ako bibili ng expensive na tools kapag sure na ako na hindi ako sasawaan.

^madiin din ako magsulat/color. sharpies hindi talaga pwede sa akin but Muji Hexagon markers ok naman gel pens ok din  for me ok na ang Colleen for starters. kasi yung Pentel na brand medyo light.

I was able to buy Creative Haven Techellations sa National book store sa SM North. Ang dami don...bumili rin ako ng Colleen coloured pencils in 36 kaso di pala sya sharpened.. I was thinking of buying na the Faber Castell Water coloured pencils....kaso medyo mahal baka sa simula lang ako haha sayang naman....ano pang brand ang vibrant and maganda pag na color?

I'm satisifed with the Colleen coloured pencils, yun lang di pala sharpened hehe..Im torn between buying these and the Faber Castell water coloured pencils kasi medyo mahal e baka pagsawaan ko lang.. Ok ba yung FS? Pag yung Creative Haven ang colouring book mo, pwede ba don ang coloured markers or mag bleed? ok naman ako with coloured pencils, ang nice!3-D pa effect ng coloring book ko haha...e yung mga stabilo na parang coloured pens? are they OK? Sorry po daming tanong, excited lang..halfway pa lang ako sa 1st page ko hehe

Hi mga sis, how do you keep your coloring materials? Do you just keep them in their box, or do you use some sort of caddy or storage bin? Right now all my materials are kept in their box pa lang. Wala pa akong lalagyan and I was thinking how will I store them.

^ i use my daughter's old diaper caddy and put plasic cups in the main compartment.

mine is nakalagay sa isang cardboard tray. I use a decade old square box pen holder (nabili ko ng P50), bottles from Usana essentials and some tissue cardboard. Kailangan ko lang itago yung coloring pencil kasi may maliit na pagala-gala dito at kinakain yung pencils.

i went to Deovir Megamall yesterday. I bought sandpaper pencil sharpener for the blender pencil at saka waterbrush pens. Yung owner yata yung nag-assist sa akin. Masyado sya accommodating kaya nakabili tuloy ako ng nang wala sa oras! Haha.. 

question: any suggestion ng brand na may glitter pens? TIA!

^was able to by from NB glitter pens M&G Festival php20++ hindi pa aabot ng php30 each. pero parang 6 colors lang. Sakura gel pens is nice din  may nabili ako sa Divi glitter tattoo pens php100 pack of 6.

I have tattoo glitter pens. Ok yung sms brand yata sa NBS. Parang P115 for a set of 6.

I went to the nearby NBS to look for Crazy Cats. Apparently all the coloring books are nasa customer service so dyahe because their collection is soooo extensive and I wanted to see everything!!! Napabili tuloy ako ng 4 other books dahil nahiya ako sa saleslady ang taas ng inakyat niya to get them. Nakakaadik maghoard!

^^pwede naman po kaso, mauubos ang pencil kung lagi i-sharpen after mag-blend ng color. may naiiwan kasi sa tip. at saka mura ang sandpaper pencil pointer

i calculated kung magkano na ang nagastos ko for this hobby and I'm surprised! Equivalent to 1 month amortization ko na! Haha... tipid mode na dapat!   

but i want prisma and polychromos!!! hehe...

What do you guys use (or any techniques) for blending colors? Dito ako talaga nagstruggle

^ Same here sis, gusto ko din ng Polychromos and Prismacolor. I have the Colleen 775, 24's. I love Colleen naman, kaya lang nakukulangan ako sa 24. Haha! Mostly sold out naman 60's. I was asking my sister (a flight attendant) kung meron siya nakikita na coloring materials outside PH. She said madami daw sa Bangkok nun. Hopefully, sana may mabili siya. Not sure lang if mas mura or mahal ba.

I'm also into coloring. It's a very relaxing activity, so I usually do it at night, before I sleep.

Anyway, I used to color ordinary coloring books like Disney Princess, angels, and copy the color books. And then, I found out about adult coloring books, and that's when I decided to buy one. I got a Mandalas adult coloring book and I've been coloring like crazy ever since!

Like you, I have a variety of pens and markers. I used to have only colored pens, and then I started collecting gel pens. So, after buying my Mandalas coloring book, I went straight to the pens section and bought two sets of gel pens - one metallic and one pastel. So far, so good.

For those who haven't tried coloring yet, this is your chanceQ I guaranteed you, it's going to give you a really beautiful and calming experience!

^^i've tried Crayola, Faber Castell Watercolor pencils at Colleen. Para sa akin mas madali i-blend ang Crayola while the other two eh napakahirap. Kailangan ko pa gumamit ng blender pencil para mag-mix.  maybe madali sa iba gumamit ng FC at Colleen sa blending.

I have 24's too! Actually, nagsimula ako sa 12's. Then I bought 24's, pinagsama ko na lang yung na-sharpen ko na pencils sa 24's at itinago ko na lang yung duplicate so kompleto pa rin yung 12's pero strange dahil yung 12's ko may white/black pero 787 siya.

hi clueless, i would like to try this new craze too. i am checking eBay now for that.

I bought mine from Knack by Koco in facebook. It's only Php 120 and they are handmade. Not like the ones that you buy in the malls na puro flowers lang or patterns lang... Ito may story per page. The seller also has colleen colored pencils which is great kasi one-stop-shop!
