i joined the fb group page mentioned here. At nagpost ako nung unang paisley ko. so far, may nag-like naman! haha...

dahil one-colour theme ako ever since, nag-aral tuloy akong mag-blending I will try blender colorless pencil soon.

i'm excited to receive my orders from colormedoodle  I prefer colored pencils but nakakangawit kapag matagal. i'll try markers once i get colormedoodle's set as sabi niya 200gsm yung paper he used. nadidismaya kasi ako kapag tumatagos parang nawawalan ako ng gana (OC lang). madiin din kasi ako magcolor/write.

i really want to influence my daughter to color din pero nangangawit siya agad. i gave her colored pencils na with me since high school days ko pa and nakakatuwa kasi buong buo pa and works really nice pa din 

i tried colorfy app and nakakatuwa din pero iba pa din yung effect ng actual coloring.

^^Ang galing naman ng blending mo.  Sana magawa ko din yan. So far solid coloring pa lang ginagawa ko.

^Makapal talaga yung coloring sheets ng colormedoodle.  I've used markers and colored pens no bleeding whatsoever.

mga sis, ano marerecommend niyong color material for a newbie like me. yung  hindi sana masyado expensive? mas ok ba magstart sa pencil lang muna? ano bang brand yung ok at hindi mapusyaw ang kulay. meron kasi diton mumurahing color pencil daughter ko, sobra dull at ang labnaw ng color.

please sana po may makasuggest. parang gusto ko talaga itry itong hobby na ito

- crayola super tips, P180 for 20pcs
- art attack markers, P160 for 12pcs

When i got the hang of it, i started buying sharpies. and last week lang, i started using colored pencils na din. Di pa ako marunong ng mga shading at blending.

Start with what you think you will be comfortable using.

^^ I started with Pentel 24 pcs pencil. Tapos Crayola super fine tips rin. Wala pang 200 yung sets ng mga ito. Hindi kasing vibrant yung colors ng Pentel pencils compared to Faber Castell (na mas mahal ng konti), pero ang paborito kong shade ng kulay nasa Pentel lang. Lahat ito National Bookstore nabibili, so very accessible.

Kung may makita kang Colleen sa NBS (kasi selected branches lang daw), yun na yung pinaka-"splurge" mo bale. But just the same, it's less than 500 lang (depende sa dami ng pencils) compared to the thousand pesoses na pencils.

ok kaya yung faber Castell na colored pencil? vibrant rin kaya color niya? super excited  na talaga ako itry yung hobby na ito. pero ayoko muna sana splurge ng super mahal na tools hehe

^ok naman yung faber castell. Meron ako nung art grip na set of 36. For me, mas ok pangcolor kapag sa mga fine details and vibrant din ang colors. I tried prismacolor, intense ang color and good for blending pero since soft yung core medyo makapal ang tip agad and mas madalas ko isharpen. I want to try next yung faber castell na polychromos.

Since June ata laging OOS ang coloring books sa mga bookstores. If buying online, mas maraming options.

 I tried and it bled. Wag na sharpies. May mga washable markers naman, fave ko is yung dong a na parang colored pen like stabilo. Try that one, one end makapal then yung other end fine point para sa mga small areas

^^ i love sharpies pero ito ang pinaka-grabe nag bleed. That's why i prefer one-sided pages. Di ko pa na-try sa page na ako nagprint though.

I used Sharpies, ok naman, no bleeding.  Although I don't have the coloring books din kasi, mine is coloring sheets from IG, so mas thicker yung paper.  I liked Sharpies kasi mas bold yung colors the other brand I've used is Crayola which is ok din naman.

i like Colleen colored pencils  yung Pentel medyo light kasi. ok din for me Caran D' Ache. i'm torn if i'll buy Faber Castell Polychromos or Sakura Gelly Roll.

My friend was able to buy Creative Haven's Crazy Paisley at NBS San Lazaro just this morning.  She got lucky lang since she was there to buy something else, timing na may delivery, kasi grabe daw talaga magkaubusan.  Anyway, they don't accept or allow reservations na daw, not sure lang if all NBS na yun.

The paper/pages pala is a bit thin, though one side lang naman yung print, I think color pencils nga lang pwede dito otherwise there's a good chance markers will bleed thru.

^ yeah, the pages are thin but good that they're one sided and perforated. I detach the pages I color. I prefer makers over pencils kasi.

I bought creative Haven at Power books alabang, ang saya lang kasi maraming choices buti na lang di agad ako bumili sa NBS medyo namamahalan pa kasi ako. Budget friendly kasing yung CH kaso my daughter used Faber Castell coloring pens nagbleed sa back good thing talaga at one sided lang yung coloring book.

I was able to buy Creative Haven Techellations sa National book store sa SM North. Ang dami don...bumili rin ako ng Colleen coloured pencils in 36 kaso di pala sya sharpened.. I was thinking of buying na the Faber Castell Water coloured pencils....kaso medyo mahal baka sa simula lang ako haha sayang naman....ano pang brand ang vibrant and maganda pag na color?
