Naku sis miss taken hirap maghanap ng paisleys na coloring book. Yun na lang kulang ko but if di talaga ako makakita, i will ask na lang a friend of mine in australia to buy me those books and ship it here.. Haha addict ako sobra sa coloring

Sis my friend was the one who went to Fully Booked ATC branch and they told her na meron pa daw stock yung paisleys. Hopefully pagpunta ko later meron pa talaga. Can't wait to start coloring, nakakaexcite just by seeing the finished works from other people.

@Mindy Sis where do you usually buy your coloring books online? Baka ganyan na lang din gawin ko if hindi available sa mga bookstores.

^ Sa Amazon sis. Pero minsan pa lang ako bumili ng coloring books. It has yet to arrive since shipping option ko is yung pinakamatagal. May added bonus rin kasi if you have a Kindle account dun, maraming freebie na sheets from self-publishers. I save this to print later.

But I will try the tip from clueless for bookdepository next credit card cycle (hahaha ang budget!!!!) Nakaka-enganyo kasi yung free shipping worldwide nya. Sa mga Facebook groups na sinalihan ko, they also said bookdepository, so it must be an okay site.

Oh, and sa Instagram rin...I buy coloring sheets from colormedoodle, coloraway and other local artists.

^Wow! Okay nga yang delivered to your doorstep.  It happened to me once lang but mine was just a very small item.  So far wala pa akong ganyang experience sa books.  From experience, basta the post office personnels or officer see an Amazon sign on the parcel, medyo alert na sila.  Feeling kasi nila basta Amazon mahal and taxable.

I'll try the NBS branches near our areas, baka yung mga outside the malls mas meron stocks. I also like the coloring sheets from colormedoodle. Okay na rin yung price for 30 sheets.  Yung whimsy pallette parang okay din, and they are young artists ha.  Nakakainggit ang talents! 

A bit OT: I just had an almost celebrity experience on IG after I posted a colorfy drawing that I've finished coloring.  A renowned international young artist commnented on it.  Nagulat naman ako!    I noticed na kapag mandalas yung mga pics mas maraming may gusto and mostly tattoo artists.  Ang galing lang!

Will update everyone when my 1st batch from book depository arrives. I placed my order 23 July, it was dispatched 28 July.

Akala ko nga may minimum purchase required for free shipping pero wala talaga. My 2nd batch has 1 book lang na less than $5.

Don pala sa fb group ng adult coloring ph, i bought a 60pc pack of colleen pencils don sa isang member. And i bought a "big girl" coloring book for my daughter from another member. Hehe.

I saw that Colleen 60pc!!! Gosh!!! I just bought Colleens sa NBS a few days ago! 24pcs nga lang. Kaya pag-isipan ko muna ng mabuti kung bibili pa ako ng mas marami. The urge to purchase never ends!

What brand of gel pens do you guys use? Nakit ko yung set ng dong-a yata but there's no yellow.

I have Dong-A...wala ngang yellow. I honestly don't use gel pens at all (dati). I think hindi pa nauuso yun when I was in school. So, I'm just *learning* about this now.

I got some stabilo 88 and 68 pens yesterday. Tingi na lang binili ko because i dont need all the colors (ie black). P585 yung set of 20 so that's P29.25/pc eh P29.50 lang pag tingi.

Yung neon mas mahal lumalabas pag set.

Tried them last night. Yung stabilo 88 mas ok di hamak kesa don sa dong-a hexaplus fineliners. Mas smooth. Yung stabilo 88 halos parang sharpie din, parang mas malabnaw lang i guess kasi water-based sya while sharpie is alcohol-based. Hindi nag bleed yung 68. Yung 88 medyo sa parts na heavy strokes.

Mindy I just read the article about adults who color on Inquirer.net...wow! sikat ka na ha!    Seriously though I like the work you shared there.  I'm curious to see how the one you're working on in the photo turned out.

Pumunta kami last weekend sa Fully Booked ATC to check Paisleys and nakita ko agad yung isang girl sa cashier na may hawak na isang copy so ako naman super excited since tama nga yung friend ko na meron pa silang stock. I checked out the adult coloring books section pero wala yung Paisleys dun so I asked their customer service at sa kasamaang palad, last copy na daw yung binili nung babae huhuhu. Nauna lang siya saken ng ilang minutes eh. Kung hindi naming inuna ng bf ko na pumunta sa Jamba Juice malamang nasaken na yung book na yun lol

Sa Powerbooks available yung Secret Garden, Animorphia and other coloring books kaso gusto ko talaga yung Paisleys eh.

^^Oh!  Kaya pala she looks familiar to me.    hahaha! Yan ang fear ko if sobrang laki ng pattern, baka magsawa ako sa iisang color. 

I received my Color Me Doodle coloring sheets yesterday, yun muna inorder ko in support na rin for the local artists here.  Anyway, I like that these are loose sheets madaling bitibitin and also easy to color plus the paper they used is very thick.  The prints/patterns are nice too, lotsa' variety.

I got a 60pc set of colleen pencils and started using them today. ang ganda! very smooth. kailangan ko pa din matuto ng techniques so I'm not planning on getting more expensive pencils.

kung may bibilhin ako, copics pa din kaso no budget pa for now.

It normally depends on mg case sis. Sometimes I use all colored pencils only, sometimes I mix it with gel pens, watercolor, markers, pastel etc.

I suggest you try to use muna the tool you are very familiar and comfortable to use. Then little by little try using other tools so you can mix it with all the techniques to your future coloring sheets.
