^ bitin ako don sa 12 colors ng sharpies sa set. Better sana kung yung 24pcs. So the ones not in my set, i buy separately na lang.

One of my coloring books - creative haven whimsical gardens - kailangan ko ng fine point pens kasi ang dami leaves and small flowers and small butterflies. Sayang walang sharpie ultra fine point set, individually sold lang and konti ang color choices. I might get a stabilo 88 set. Pero torn ako kung yan o FC colored pencils. I will check again this weekend.

^ hindi ko pa nacheck kung meron nyan dito, sis. Pero yung stabilo nakita ko na sa NBS.

Excited ako for my orders from book depository. When i was looking for coloring books on amazon, nag stand out talaga sakin yung books ni Thaneeya McArdle! She uses copics, sharpies and prismacolors also plus mga gel pens. Nung napanood ko yung isang video nya, don ako nainggit sa copics. Hehe.

Sis clueless, the one and only book i have at the moment is Nature Mandalas by thaneeya mcardle. Maganda yung book tapos there are tips pa how to improve coloring.

Sis snow25 i haven't checked dymocks yet sis ehh, have you? Meron ba sila? Magbakasakali din ako sa AuPost baka meron.

sakto din may bookfair sa school ng son ko so malay naten hahaha! Basta i will check this week. Di ko maituloy yung kinocolor ko kasi super bitin ako sa 12 colors ng prisma!

Kanina i experimented sa isang page nung animorphia if tatagos yung gel pens and watercolor, so far hindi naman. So maybe by tomorrow i will buy stabilo, markers and watercolor pencils too.

Dapat bibilhin ko din yung nature mandalas. Yan yung owl ang cover diba? Kaso may nabasa akong reviews na may pages daw na medyo bare to encourage you to draw/doodle on your own. Natakot ako. Hehe. Totoo ba sis na ganon?

Aynsis nakita ko rin yang nature mandalas. I think same concept sila ni animorphia. You are encouraged to draw doodles on some pages.. Kaya those pages kay hubby ko pinapadrawing or sa friend ko na magaling magdraw haha.. Puro color lang ako.

Sis clueless, yes sis, eto nga yung owl. You are right. May mga shapes na bare, tapos tuturuan kang mag explore ng shapes at mas maging creative. May instructions sis sa book so im sure youll be alright!

Oh wow I'm so glad I've stumbled upon this thread! Read about this adult coloring book craze last month at a local newspaper and I love the designs. Super creative and looks relaxing.

Mga sis what brand of markers and gel pens are you using? And do you know if Doodle Invasion http://www.amazon.com/Doodle-Invasion-Zifflins-Coloring-Book/dp/1492977055 is available at NBS/Fully Booked/Powerbooks? I really want to get this one. Saw some of the pages online and I already want to start coloring them lol This will be my way of relaxing na rin after work.

Please recommend na rin what coloring book should I try first for newbies like me. Thanks!

Hi sis miss taken, wala ng stock si nbs and powerbooks nyan. Last monday last 4 na lang yung natira sa animorphia. Mabilis talaga maubos sila.

The gel pens naman im using dong a haha.. And yung iba pa na wala naman na name. But tomorrow i will buy stabilo and other colored markers also watercolor pencil.

^^ i've seen some completed pages from doodle invasion. Ang ganda! I havent seen this in the stores but i've seen some resellers who have this.

I'm not sure if the pages are double-sided and how thick each one is so i can't recommend markers. If they're one-sided, any will do i guess. If double-sided, you need something that won't bleed.

Personally, i like my sharpies the best among what i have now.

For gel pens, i have metallic set na dong-a yata, neon set na brandless and tattoo glitter set. The first one i got from NBS, comes in a set but also sold individually. The last two sets i got from fully booked high street 2-3 weeks ago but when i went back last week (ubos na kasi yung glitter, my daughter loves using these) out of stock na. Super cheap pa naman, P65-P70 only for the set na. I also have a neon gel pen set that i got from clipper (yung store na katabi ng janylin sa greenbelt 1). Ok din, P160 for the set and may kasamang white.

My problem pala now is storage! I will look for a caddy for all my pens.

^ sis, i want to check muji for gel pens. Just haven't had the chance to go yet.

Sis okay ba yung glitter pens? Btw curious rin ako with muji, aliw nga ako sa animorphia. I need to buy black pens for doodles and retracing kasi yung iba sobrang nipis ng lines so i have to re-draw it para di matabunan ng color.

Actually im torn if i should get the watercolor pencils, kasi if ever id rather use gel pens and markers talaga

Feels overwhelming at first since there are so many choices to choose from kung ano gagamiting materials to color the books pero nakakaexcite! Maybe I'll try using colored pencils and gel pen, maghoard ako sa book stores ng Festival Mall, Southmall and ATC lol I can't wait for the weekend to come para makabili na ako ng first adult coloring book. I've already searched some sites online and I need your feedbacks sissies if alin ba dyan yung pinaka okay? I'm having a hard time choosing between JENN Ski’s Mid-Century Modern Mania and Animal Kingdom.

No worries sis.. Re: Animorphia, for me hindi naman kasi doodles yung small details... Then yung malalaki na animals, i color it with oil pastels..

the yung maliliit na i use colored pencils and gel pens.

Then yung part nga lang na you have to draw doodles to complete some pages but i guess okay naman.. Doodle lang naman so carry na kahit ano na lang idraw ko dun. I will be buying .4 and .5 pens for re tracing and drawing rin. Hehe...
