Sis clueless, we have a wide range of colouring pencils and pens here but not the books. :) i like the mosaics pa naman sana. Are the sharpies ok? I might get some of those too. Tapos my prismacolor, i might upgrade na to 100+ pcs kase walang masyadong magandang colors yung 12 pcs.

^^ FOURever, which creative haven book/s do you have?

^ belle_v2g, i love my sharpies. They're my most used pens. I have around 18-19 colors so minsan medyo bitin ako pero pwede na.

I might try colored pencils again. I've seen a lot of completed pages done with colored pencils that are super nice! Gusto ko kasi vibrant ang colors. I have crayola twistable colored pencils and medyo dull ang result that's why i dont like it. But i'm thinking baka better naman if totoong colored pencils.

Sis clueless, try using markers daw then colouring pencils to top it up, mas smooth daw ang finish. :) i'll check how much the sharpies are here. Saka i will try to find copic na rin.

^ i will give that a try, sis. Minsan kasi natatakot ako mag try. The only thing i've tried is blending using my sharpies to get a sort of shadow effect. Ok naman kinalabasan! :)

^^ thanks, sis. The pre-loved copic ciaos i'm getting were from that distributor din. Seller bought the set last may lang daw. Sana nga ok pa yung nibs.

Sis clueless and mindy, found the copic markers earlier, grabe, $36 for 6 pcs!!! There's another good brand, Derwent, pero ang expensive din :(
I couldn't find any sharpies. Meron pero individual sale eh. Di na tuloy ako bumili :(

Makiki-join ako... A friend of mine gave me the coloring book Secret Garden by Johanna Basford. I first bought the 36 staedtler coloring pencil set pero hindi ko masyado nagustuhan. Plus hindi din kasi ako madiin magcolor.

Nagcheck ako sa sa isang art store dito sa melbourne and the lady recommended faber castell kaysa sa prismacolor. Kasi masyado daw soft yung prismacolor and faber-castell ok for fine lines and detailed coloring...

First time ako magcolor ulit and ang bagal ko hehe! Eto na ang bagong de-stressing activity ko 😀

^^ wala pa akong nakikitang derwent sa stores ditto. sa ebay.ph lang, P600 for 12. yung faber castell na naka red box I think is P600+ for 48 na.

yung sharpies sis, I have the set 0f 12 lang. if you can get the set of 24, more economical. or if you van find you mga 80's glam set or electro pop set, I think better pa yon.

^ kung hindi ka madiin mag-color sis and you want vibrant colors, try markers. kaso double-sided ang secret garden so dapat yung markers na hindi mag bleed through. I don't have this coloring book so I don't know which markers will work well with it.

faber castell pencils in the red box ba vs prismacolor? or maybe faber castell polychromos vs prismacolor? mahal din yung polychromos eh.

snow25, sis sakin naman nirecommend yung Prismacolor, kase mas soft and creamy nga daw pang kulay. Sa Riots Arts and Crafts ako nagtingin, this afternoon i went to Officeworks, dun ko nakita ang Derwent and Copic. Mas konti ang selection. Madami silang Faber Castell and Crayola.

^sis belle_v2g, sa Riots Arts and Crafts din ako nagpunta kaya I bought both the prismacolor and faber-castell para ma-try.
Ok for blending daw ang prismacolor pero since soft, mahirap gamitin for fine lines. Sa Officeworks din ako una nagpunta, oo konti nga options dun. Hindi ko nakita ang Derwent sa officeworks. Sa Riots Arts ko nakita yun. 😊
Have you checked dymocks for colouring books?

A friend of mine said meron daw sa Makati but don't exactly know where. Not exactly well-stocked for Derwent rin.

Napansin ko nga sis may mga pages na i have to draw, madre mio color lang alam ko but i dont know how to draw. Baka si hubby padrawing ko dun sa pages na yun... Gusto ko sana yung secret garden and any paisley designs, kaso wala eto lang available sa powerbooks. Wala naman national bookstores so i bought it na.

Btw, any idea if how much yung sharpies? May set ba sila? If ever how much? I only see kasi yung per piece eh.. Super thanks
