When is your wedding sis? And what does your work entail?  Kung matagal pa naman wedding mo, and your mostly indoors,  maybe you can do some parang microdermabrasion or some chemical peel?   Ang alam ko [textspeak!] pg gnyan ata eh di ka pwedi magpa araw.

Its in January 2016 na. As for work, I'm mostly indoors naman since office girl ako, though dayshift kaya hindi maiwasan maarawan kahit konti during commute. Will less than six months be enough? I actually plan on consulting derma din. Pati hair actually, I'm planning on doing at least twice a month na hair spa to treat it dahil sobrang frizzy na niya kakapony tail ko.

hi sissies,
I need help. I love going to the beach for swimming and surfing lessons. Over the years siguro na neglect, so I ended up with a much darker tone for my thighs and arms. My wedding gown is lace slim, cap-sleeve dress so its showing plenty of arms. any suggestions para mag-even out [textspeak!] skin tone?

I have a cheap solution for you sis =) If it's just for your arms try putting Maxipeel solution heheeBut make sure you don't go under the sun and put sunblock! And just use it on your ams ha. I never use it on my face. Maxipeel is what I also use to smoothen soles of my feet, elbows and knees.

Ako ang problem ko naman eh how to maintain hair healthy and shiny... pinapahaba ko kasi hair ko.  I try and have it trimmed every now and then, pero pag humaba na sya past my shoulders nagiging dry sya :(  :( Any hair conditioning tips??  By the way my hair ranges from wavy to curly, it depends on the weather hehe

^hi sis ako nagpahaba din ng hair. 1 year ko di pinagupitan ng maikli. siguro naka 3x na trim since nagkaka split ends sya. 1 year din ako hindi nagparebond di kasi advisable kasi madulas. naging unhealthy din hair ko since lagi ko sya pinaplantsa or blower. until now may hair fall pa din ako. tiis ganda talaga dati bilib mga officemates ko sakin kasi napahaba ko yung hair ko hanggang waist line. sulit naman kasi ang ganda ng kinalabasan nung wedding day ko.

hi bonzaigirl, it might be the shampoo you're using, it may be too strong for your hair and you're washing away your hair's natural oils. have you tried
not shampooing your scalp every day - just the middle to tips?

I shampoo every other day, and then after I condition.  I change my conditioner every 2 months.  I don't know, feeling ko din sa water.  Kasi sa London, they use hard water, so before as in naninigas yung hair ko, then nag adapt na sya sa hard water.

^ so so true! it's hard to be a girl! i found that the only shampoo that works for me is pantene. but this really varies from person to person. have you tried those mayo hair treatment? it has oil so it may help to add shine to your hair :) ^

ig0rota, I plan to start dieting as soon as I finish all the chips I've stocked up at home haha Unfortunately I'm not known to stick to diets so it's mostly exercise. I'm gonna enrol in a gym after my trip back to Manila this month, which would be around 10 months before the wedding day (which is 4 months before my measurements might be taken). Some friends of mine recommend that if you want the more abrupt weight loss program (crash diets, etc) do it nearer the day kasi it might be a struggle to maintain that weight. Or maybe that's just advice directed to me only haha

bonzaigirl, I use Mane & Tail shampoo and conditioner sets. It's very hard water being used here in Singapore and my hair thinned talaga when I first moved from Manila. Mane & Tail helped bring some of the volume back. I would use Kerastase Nutritive naman for deep conditioning and to take care of frizzy hair (gah the humidity). Not sure how temperamental LA weather is so you need to find products that would match..

I lost 10 lbs from doing hot yoga and doing some cardio workout.  I used to go to classes but now I do it at home. As well as cardio.  You can try following Emily Skye's videos.  It works as well hehe.  Or you can even do the 30 day plank challenge. hehe. Do plank for 30 seconds today. Then do a whole minute tomorrow.  Correct planking kasi targets your arms, your absominal muscles and your quads as well.

Sa yoga, sa dami ng planking poses eh may nakita na talaga akong improvement sa arms and tummy ko hehe.  Kaya as in super promote ko sya hehe  😄😄😄

i used to do yoga but stopped when the class was dissolved.
i have to do my best talaga. pati diet ko kailangan ng make-over.

This advise worked out well for me. For rice eaters, you can shift from white rice to brown rice or basmati. It took a while before our son got used to it (imagine nadamay ang bata sa wedding diet) eventually nagustuhan narin, it's a healthy alternative anyway.

Minimise your sugar intake. If you are using 2 sugars for your tea, that's useless. Take it down to 1 sugar at least. No cakes or sweets muna, i know it's torture. More veggies please, less oil, fried stuff and food containing lots of sodium so you don't look manas on your photos.

My couturier advised me not to workout briskly kase ayaw nyang mukha akong maskulada on the day hahaha! (Walking is good though and i do that 8 hrs a day sa work) So he advised me to drink 2 glasses of warm water every morning. During the final fitting, he had to take 2 inches off my gown. Personally, i don't like super skinny then puro muscles. Parang mas mukha akong lalake compared to hubby pag ganon. We don't want that diba. :)

I am 55kg and my height is 5'3.5" so bmi is very healthy pa din. :) i had a dental surgery 6 months before the wedding so that helped me lose weight (lol don't follow that!! Hehe)

Skin wise, i kept using my derma prescribed medications. My meds are not available overseas so i had to request my mum to send them over. Please do not try using or experimenting skin products that you are not sure of. Scary. Sleep early and drink at least 2L of water a day. It will give you a glowing and radiant looking skin on the day. Do not stress so much if you have blemishes or pimples. They usually appear days before wedding due to stress and sleeplessness. The hmua will work their magic on you naman :)

Well said tips! I'll try to so these. Haha! Just a question, what's the warm water every morning for? :)

I go Nazal MD for cleaning and LED light--- that's in Amberland Plaza, that's across Tektite. She owns Ysa Botanica :)

hi sis!
her clinic is just walking distance from where I'm working. How much kaya PF nya? Affordable kaya services and creams/toners nya? How's your skin now sis? Ready na ba for the big day?
