I disagree din sa consistency issues with metrophoto, may magagandang prenup shoots sya with non showbiz clients na gandang ganda padin ako. And with toni's prenup hindi ako toni fan ever, pero i have to admit ang ganda ng photos. Pati yung kay Pat Dy maganda rin, iba ng styles yung dalawang prenup i think sinadya, isang pang sosy magazine shoot isang laid back hehe ganda ng photos nila

Yes, I like both photoshoots too.  The Metrophoto shoot represents Toni as a celebrity and the Pat Dy shoot represents Paul as a simple and laid-back person.

i got curious and looked through their photos - quite pretty. i have always preferred golden hour photos, so i like how pat dy's shoot turned out - very "vanity fair"

I thought I was the only one not feeling any love in the Metrophoto prenup. While I understand the shoot style, I'm usually looking for the emotions kasi it's a prenup after all.

But it's not true na celebrity shots lang maganda nila. Dami pa iba though not all.. I guess it depends on the style you're into.


I love their Pat Dy session! Like ahh they're so happy content in love and getting married happily. Haha


By the way, I've seen a prenup from a W@Wie where she had white tank top on and jeans then white shirt and jeans fiance niya. It was taken in dry woods location. Ang ganda! 
So not only celebrities can rock a simple look😉

On the other hand, i just saw gab valenciano and tricia's wedding video by bob nicolas. The pictures that i saw a few months ago was super duper nice, but when i saw the video hay super nice. Their vows, everything. One of the best.

re: toni's prenup, siguro kase high-fashion editorial ang peg nila for their metrophoto shoot tapos laid-back casual naman for the pat dy and mark nicdao shoot.
napangiti nga ako when i saw their pat dy shoot kase medyo same kame ng concept sa prenup.
yung sa kanila si paul naka-black turtleneck long-sleeves then si toni naka-white shirt tapos jeans pareho. kame naman, black turtleneck long-sleeves ako tapos pareho kame ni h2b, white lang kanya then jeans din. i jokingly tell my friends na kame ang peg nila toni ininvert lang nila yung colors para di halata kase nauna ang prenup namin. hehe
dun naman sa shoot nila kay mark, naka-black turtleneck long-sleeves si toni like mine.
pagbigyan nyo ko mga sis minsan lang mag-feeling showbiz. hehe

About high end suppliers doing a better job for their celebrity clients... I beg to differ on this. As they won't be able to defend themselves here, I would like to share my experience with them.

We booked Pat Dy only a week before our wedding. We never even met nor talked to him prior to the day itself and yet he was so nice and feeling close (in a nice way) to all of us! Super makulit and palabiro siya! I never felt any discrimination or that he wasn't doing his job as well as he would for celebrities. During preps, aside from capturing candid moments, he would tell me how to pose. He made sure everything was perfect for each shot. He would fix my hair and ask his assistants to fix my gown etc.

My now husband and I are some of the most awkward people in front of the camera, but we never felt that way because Pat, Francis, Henry and the rest of his team made us feel at ease and they would help us by telling us what to do for some shots. Everybody loved Pat's rock show! During the after party, people were raving at how beautiful our photos were! I would even tell them how lucky we were that we were able to book him super last minute!

The same goes for Jason. While Pat is more hands on in terms of shooting, Jason was nonetheless very hands on during the time that he had to sew everything together and come up with his equally superb SDE. He was super nice and cool! He would occasionally come up to me and tell me para magkwento or say random stuff like, I heard about your dog and bunnies in the artwork ha! And I really appreciated it.

So no, we never felt like these high-end suppliers do a better job with celebrity clients. Of course, I couldn't speak for other suppliers because I've never had the chance to work with them. But I'm pretty sure that they won't reach their status today if it weren't for their exceptional talents and skills and utmost professionalism they show to each and every one of their clients.

Hi Sisses! Is it ok if I ask our video/photographer our dos and dont style for our video/photo shoot? Like I dont want my wedding gown shot outside the hotel, or we want our prenup viedo/SDE to be same as someone else's SDE, etc.. But not to the point naman na super picky/arte namin. Actually yan lang naman ang major na request namin. Is this ok ba?

^ that's totally fine and it's a good thing to do so you give your p/v direction. i sent my photographer a list of shots and the general feel that i want for our coming prenup. i will do the same for our wedding day as well ^

Yay! I ended up booking JR Salonga (super good packages at super good prices + classic portfolio and shots!!) + InDemand Wedding Films (veryyyy good portfolio + stellar equipment + aerial (phantom 3)) So happy with the porfolios of my PV team. Super plus pa na mas mura sila sa iba!

Hi sis, yes it's OK. it's actually highly recommendable that every couple requests this from their p/v teams.

Sharing DTS' post regarding this topic:
you definitely can request for shots and make sure the requests are applicable to your time and location. However,  do not make a very long list for them because it gives the photographer an impression that you don't trust their perseverance and creativity. (Not the exact words but the same thought).
