sis trishytrishy, not sure about sa duration ng promo nila eh. but i suggest to call their office or set an appointment with them para they can give you all the details.
they were very flexible and easy to talk to during our preps and they're open to package customizations depending on your budget. maybe they can give you a better deal kung makausap mo sila personally.

sis rain dear, we went to one of KnK's food tasting events last year and to be honest, wala talagang wow sa food nila. may review din ako ng FT namin nila with them on my blog. though baka naman nag-improve na sila ng food and service this year. if you're really interested in them, paschedule ka na lang FT sa kanila sis.

same here. Nag FT kami with KnK. So so lang yung food. Ang unaccommodating pa nung AE na si Jackie hence we did not push through booking them kahit malapit sila sa venue namin. (iwas OOT).

Hi mga sis.. I'm having my house blessing and I got a caterer na new in the industry last year lang sila nagstart baka interested kayo. Porketta Catering Service affordable pa sya and bago mga gamit. About the food I will give you feedback after ng event ko. Nag cucustomize din sila according to your needs. Very accommodating pa sila Miss Rio and Sir Jay.

in case anyone's interested, M catering (our caterer for our wedding last july), is offering free bridal car service if you avail of their 750/person package and an LED wall for their 1050/person package.

i promised myself kase that if they do well on our wedding eh ipo-promote ko talaga sila.

Questions po:

1. White folding chairs - we requested chairs for our ceremony setup and this will be outsourced by our caterer. Question is, normally, are they supposed to the one to arrange it and should be included in the additional charge? (ceremony setup is not included in our catering package)

2. Trellis - we also requested this from our caterer (of course with an additional charge) and will serve as substitute for our tiny gazebo for the ceremony. Again, same question, should the caterer set this up for us?

3. Wines - first of all, we scouted a venue without any corkage for almost anything, yet our caterer is charging us corkage if ever we bring in our own beer, lechon (this is understandable as it needs to be chopped, etc) or wine. Our coord said that if caterer is selling wines, they can put a corkage, but if not, then there is no basis. Do we have a greater chance of abolishing the corkage fee of 250/bottle?

4. Water Dispenser / Water Station - requested this also from our caterer if this is possible but no reply yet. this should be put up from the time caterer will arrive and will serve as water station for everyone, including the suppliers. she just mentioned that there is an additional charge for this. How about you ladies?

Am i asking too much from our caterer?

For ceremony chairs, trellis, water dispenser, if they will do the sourcing, delivery and setup, they have a right to charge an additional fee for this. The wine corkage i dont understand--- unless your caterer sells wines also. My caterer will charge me 3-5k for bar service, to use their glasses and waiters to serve wine.

sis is this for an actual water dispenser? if yes, i think they can charge a fee if its outsourced. but can't they serve their own water which should be included in their services?
chairs and trellis, yes its a reasonable charge. although you might consider asking for a stylist and compare which one can be cheaper.
with wines...250/bottle is too much. my caterer will charge me 2500 for serving wine (regardless how many bottles) for using their glasses and for serving it. the charge goes higher for beers and soda since we'll need additional ice. but again this fee is for the extra glasses they will bring and extra ice regardless of how many bottles ill be serving. if they are selling wine, 250/bottle might be reasonable is what they are selling is wine that is on the pricier side. parang hotel rate yung corkage nila ah.

Yey for M Catering! Their food's really good. Ordered from them for our pamamanhikan. Too bad our venue only has 1 accredited caterer.

parang gusto ko na nga magpalit sis ng caterer but paid na kasi namin half ng contract hopefully, she'll re-consider on our final FT and mock-up.

sis twinxz does your caterer serve wine? kasi if they do and their price is reasonable i suggest get the wine from them than pay the 250/bottle. pero grabe there are good wines na close to that price. nakakapanghinayang.

for the water though, maybe they can serve that earlier if you provide them with extra gallons of water and then kahit may minimal fee lang or they can include na lang an overall service fee for all your drinks? baka mas reasonable yun than what they want to charge right now?

haven't asked her yet if they have their own wines eh.
what i was able to ask is if she will still charge corkage if we have our own mobile bar. her reply:
"if mobile bar & WITHOUT Wine, WITHOUT WINE per table or wine(s) to be served to your guests, no more wine corkage."

true sis, there's a specific brand of wine na 180/bottle lang then gustung-gusto ni h2b and friends hence i'm pushy talaga to have those wines served sa reception.

for the water, thanks sis for the suggestion. will ask this to her din otherwise we'll settle with bringing our own water dispenser to avoid further discussion.

like i've said, parang leaning towards changing caterer na ako but I'm still hoping na this will be sorted out soon. I also asked na the help of h2b, na sya na makipagusap kay caterer kasi i have na this not so nice feeling towards them.

parang ang labo naman ng caterer na tubig lang ay ipagkakait pa. in the first place, bago pa mauso ang ibat ibang "freebies" ng mga supplier, ito siguro ang automatic na free.

Hi sis! We only got food from them. But we're repeat customers na din. Sayang nga may sole caterer sa venue namin, wanted to get them sana para di na problem ang centerpieces. They hire consultants kasi for their set ups so maganda talaga.

That's nice. I'll put in a good word for Becca. Yung new AE ko kasi medyo mabagal, although nagpa quote kasi ako with chosen food. & hindi na nga namin sila makukuha so no rush na din
