sis shy, havent tried both pa. but we've booked kbyc na nung feb bridal fair. matigas lang ulo ko at the same time sigurista/paranoid, i just really want to try others para alam kong i made the right choice or i can have other caterers to compare kbyc with.

sis shrek, i dont mind naman i will try to pm you exact names of the foods we liked but for starters: (wala kasi sakin list now)

h2b and i were crazy about the barako cake, both soups (mushroom and potato but not the usual), 10-hour slow roast beef (particularly yung mushroom wine sauce), eggplant thingy sa cocktails, fish margherita, and honey glazed bbq. h2b also liked the beef and veggie lasagna. but wanna emphasize we were crazy about the barako cake and honey glazed bbq!

lowest grades for us were cirkulo tofu and mashed potato. (we both love mashed potato in general but yung version nila was sad. lol. i was like "anong nangyari?" lol)

To all sissies who still want to try out other caterers, Albergus is having a grand food tasting on August 29. They're not openly advertising it ata. I received an invite through email lang. I inquired with them dati and told them to notify me if they have any upcoming food tasting. Call them up and reserve slots sis dcpdane

Aside from Albergus, you should also try Passion Cooks sis. Ang sarap talaga ng food nila. Plus they have excellent customer service. If you inquire through email, they always answer within the day. For me (for now) ang downside sa PC is they don't have tiffany chairs. They outsource kasi their tiffany chairs kaya it's an additional P80 per piece pa.

Sis chingky how did you know may food tasting Purple Dish on Saturday? I wanna try them out, I'm super curious sa kanila.

Got married last April. I got Ma Del's Cuisine. Lovely set up and everyone loves the food! Even our other suppliers have been raving about how delectable the dishes are.

same tayo dcpdane. i booked KbyC really early even if yung venue ko hindi pa final. Initially it comes out more expensive than the others but I think I saved a lot sa styling plus the food is really good that I'm getting confused na which ones to pick. Value for money talaga.

Passion Cooks is also a good contender. Mas konti lang yung venues na accredited sila. Love the Oriental salad and great customer service. I'm not sure lang though how their basic setup looks like. If you book them at a bridal fair, you get free chair upgrades.

if budget permits I loved Bizu's food as well and Mesclun

Hi everyone! I just registered but I am not new in this forum. I always read GT whenever I need to research about some product or things in general.

We are also looking for a caterer for our upcoming wedding in 2016. We had Food Tasting with Hizon's and Passion Cooks recently. Some of the caterers I had tried were M Cafe, Bizu and two others.

1. Hizon's- I wasn't impressed with their styling and food. The AE who was assigned to us didn't entertain us, another AE came to interview us a bit but most answers we got from her were "depende po" I had heard this line for like 20 times during the short time we were discussing. Well, that's their style. Yun nga lang in my line of business ang unang magsabi ng presyo siya ang talo. LOL. We left without even knowing how much their packages are.

2. Passion Cooks
I love their food and the AE assigned to us was polite and good. They said they can accommodate 100 guests although their package says min of 150 Pax. I am happy with our experience.

3. M Cafe (during a corporate event)
Good food and service.

4. Bizu (during a corporate event)
Great food and dessert choices! I and other guests have an issue with their serving size though. I'll tell them this feedback.

We will try to schedule FT with K by Cunanan and Purple Dish soon.

thanks sis! actually M catering was a huge part of our wedding's success kaya I'm really glad we booked them kahit they are relatively new to catering weddings.

Salad: Asian Salad with Soy-Sesame Dressing*
Entrees:
Braised Beef with Mushroom Sauce*
Pork Bulgogi with Caramelized Onion

Baked Herb Fish with Thyme Garlic Butter Sauce*

Veggies: Sautéed Herbed Vegetable

The food tasting of Purpledish last Saturday was cancelled. The couples got scared daw with the typhoon. Wala naman. Hehe.

Anyway, we'll have it on the 22nd instead.

Sis f787 now naalala ko na vividly. Yan Nacho and Tomato Salsa din appetizer before. Maganda kasi buffet set up nila neat and grand and yung taste ng food subtle flavors lalo sa pasta. Kaya tinandaan ko ang name ng caterer na may "M". Nagustuhan ko rin service ng waiters nun.

^hi sis purple_power If I am not mistaken, Bizu is one of the best catering companies recommended here.  A bit pricey but worth it. Pricier than KbyC.  If you backread, that has been the common consensus.

Ok ba ang bizu? When it comes to taste?

Bizu is my dream caterer. Too bad i had booked someone else early (20k dp) but they are also quite expensive kasi, around 2700-3500/ head yung target menu ko before if i remember correctly so mapapaisip ka talaga! I went to a wedding last Jan where Bizu catered and it couldnt have been better, esp for a caterer. Steak is comparable na to Makati Shang and better than Sofitel. They also charge 1k i think for foodtasting but i think it'll be sulit.

They're accredited in Angelfields and Ville Sommet. Not sure where else.
