^for mbp and ios devices, yes worth it sya kasi nga insurance yun and it gives you peace of mind lalo pa't napaka expensiveng apple products.

Hi. Does anyone here know how much it would cost to get a new MBP battery? My 2011 model is on its last legs and yesterday when I checked the battery condition, it said it needs to be replaced soon.  Would you guys recommend getting my battery replaced, or would it be better in the long run if I just bought a new laptop?

^kung battery lang problema at ok pa naman performance ng current mac mo then just get the battery replaced. Pag dumating kasi yung time na bumili ka ng bago at kelangan mo ibenta yung luma you'll end up getting the battery replaced pa rin kasi alangan namang ibenta mo yan ng may defective part di ba?

Has anyone experienced major bugs with iOS 8 yet? iPad won't connect to wifi, "incorrect password". UGHHH!

^problema din yan ng iphone 6 (8.1 iOS) ng utol ko, when she first got it kumonek naman sa home wifi namin ng walang problema pero the very next day ayaw na - weird thing is, wala namang binabago sa network namin. Ibang gadgets inside the house nakaka-konek sa home wifi ng walang problema, yung iphone 6 lang talaga ang ayaw - incorrect pw lagi nalabas kahit tama naman ang password. When she tried connecting her iphone 6 outside the house sa ibang wifi spots ok naman wala din problema, dinala pa nya dun sa pinagbilhan and naka-konek din sa wifi ng store, sa bahay lang talaga ayaw.

Upon research, sakit talaga ng iOS 8 yan. So far, unresolved yung sa case ng utol ko, I suspect updating the iOS might fix it pero for now retry lang muna ng retry.

^ Yeah right now I'm downloading 8.2 hopefully there's a fix na. Minsan nakakaloko na talaga tong Apple e, hindi naman kasi minor flaw lang to, how could they overlook such a thing. Lalo sa mga ipads eh they basically rely on wireless networks. Kaimbyerna. Haha.

^um, i dunno about iOS pero just kanina sinubukan ko ulit i-reconnect yung iphone 6 ng utol ko. I advised her to use her pocket wifi para ma-update yung iOS nya and luckily naka-konek at nakapag update. Pinasubukan ko ulit sa home wifi and I re-added the wi-fi address of her iphone 6 sa router access list and then naka-konek na ulit. Ewan ko kung coincidence nung in-update yung iOS pero try mo na lang din syo.

paano nalalaman yung battery life ng MBP? i also have (late) 2011 MBP and curious lang ako how's the battery condition. although ok pa rin naman siya, and i think (or maybe not) parang nag improve yung battery life niya since nag update ako to yosemite. straight update ako from stock OS (OS X Lion yata stock ko) to yosemite, wala naman problem so far except sa YM. unsupported yung latest (old) YM

^download ka ng coconut battery app for MBP, its free naman. It should tell you kung healthy pa yung battery mo. I bought a used late 2008 MBP 2 years ago and my battery condition still got a long way to go at 96%. I rarely use my MBP din kasi, only bust it out for designing purposes 

Yung app na sinuggest ko isn't 100% guaranteed kasi batteries tend to fluctuate more or less (as they are consumables and doesn't last forever) pero it should somehow give you an idea na lang din.
