^sis baka you can ask the caterer na tanggalin na yung coordinator sa package na bigay nila sayo. for some, possible yun, they'll be discounting it sa total amount. that is if you really like your booked OTD. if you're willing to let go naman of your OTD, including the downpayment, pwede din naman. all in package ba talaga gusto mo? hmm, i learned kase na itong mga all in packages especially the ones na hindi pa established talaga, nagko-quote lang sila ng price for certain inclusions, and then saka pa lang sila maghahanap ng ka-tie up na teams (hmua, p/v, etc etc).

Thanks sis, now ako nahihirapan to decide kasi worry din me talaga kasi baka after so many months of prep biglang hindi sila magpakita sa wedding ko.. 
parang ganun na nga sis, they will be the one who will get tie up supplier.. is there any thread here about all in pacakge? the advantage and disadvantage.. tia

Thank you so much sis skela96c and sis galatea_spheres. Although I can't exactly "step away" from wedding preps since we already have scheduled meetings/tasks and all, I talked to fiancé and told him that we should have a day where we could just hang out and not talk anything wedding related.

Sis, skela, your fiancé is right about his advice to delegate. Problem with me is that I try to do everything and when there's a task that I can't do, hindi ako mapakali kaya makulit ako to do this and that. Hehe! Pero I think I have to learn how to delegate and trust people more that they will do their tasks. Hehe!

hello everyone...
gusto ko lang din ishare yung experience ko with the wedding coordinator...
so that other brides will be wiser when they start transacting.
i won't mention the name of the coordinator. kasi somehow, mabait naman sya...

when h2b and i first met her, i felt na very expert na talaga sya...
she offered me a whole package worth 42k. bride and groom' attire, hmu, host, p/v, bridal car, invitation.

okay din kasi she suggested that we meet at least once a month for updates... ang problem ko lang kasi, yun palang mga prices na inoffer nya the first time, ay mga prices ng either poor quality or pangit na product or service...

like with the hmu, she said our budget will be 5k. pero during trial make up. pangit yung quality... she said, iupgrade ko daw to 12.5k. same happened with the invitation.

i don't think scam sya... yun lang siguro talaga yung style nila...
lesson learned is dapat research muna, verify,and confirm lahat ng details before finalizing the contract.

Ganito kami ngayun ni h2b. After namin makapagdown sa lahat ng suppliers di na muna kami naguusap about wedding related. Nababawasan din tuloy pagpopost ko dito sa GT. Hahaha.. Tendency kasi pag may nabasa ako ikkwento ko na agad sa kaniya.

^haha nakarelate naman ako. Minsan nga feel ko naririndi na sya sa kakakwento ko about sa mga nababasa ko dito sa GT. Although he acts curious about it naman pero minsan nahihiya na din ako kase kung sa 1hr facetime namin each day eh half nun puro wedding preps ang pinaguusapan namin. So far di naman sya nagrereklamo lol. kaya pala sis di kita masyadong nakikita sa engagement threads lately. Haha! Okay lang yan, minsan nga the more ideas na nakukuha natin mas lalo tayo nakoconfuse. And worse, mas lalo tayo napapagastos sa dami ng gusto nating ma-achieve. Hahaha!

Ang kulang na lang namin, design sa reception tsaka design ng wedding cake and cupcakes since October pa naman, pahinga muna Sabi ni Forest House, max na daw yun 2 months before ma-submit sa kanila, so we still have 3 months na magresearch about design.

Okay, so now I'm panicking. My friend who's getting married on March 28 has been ranting to me non-stop about the last-minute details pa they need to finish. Na-pressure na ko.

So far, kulang namin OTD coordinator and photobooth, plus all the docs. I have na may baptismal and confirmation certificate and will request birth certificate from NSO tomorrow. Kailangan ba talaga ng CENOMAR? Any tips on the marriage license? Will be filing ours in QC kasi doon kami nakatira. Any reco OTD in the P20,000-P25,000 range? We were going to go with Blushing Bride dapat kaso we're way overbudget na kaya we have to cut corners somewhere.

Talked to SMA Weddings, Kiss the Girl and Events by Thoffy na, they're all taken on our date (patay). So are Imbitado Events and Events & Elements. Talked to Kredin, medyo na-off lang si fiancee sa kanya. Sino pa bang okay?

We had our pre-nup na pala c/o Wedding Campaigns. I can send to anyone who'd like to take a look hehe.  I really like it, high school romance ang theme. We were wearing our old uniforms talaga.

Have you talked to them na, Angiejune19? Mineet namin sila last year, we were turned off a bit din. The rep kasi was kind of ranting about some of their past weddings, like the couple daw was expecting them to do this and that but in reality, sila dapat yung nag-asikaso. Stuff like that. Bit of a downer nga kasi we just came from meeting another supplier nun who we really jived with.

Don't get me wrong, she was nice enough though, baka not for us lang.

^sis, my OTD is Janice Dadap. She's from QC. Pasok sya sa range mo. We're classmates in the uni but sakto we've met again in a wedding she coordinated last year in time when fiancé proposed. Sa May pa wedding namin so I can't feedback yet. But you can perhaps search her fb.

Oh don't you just hate it when ikaw feeling mo tama ang pace mo but outside forces (aka ibang tao) are telling you otherwise?  I mean of course  you appreciate the concern pero the pangangarag isn't helping any. At all.

If I'm ok with things going wrong on MY wedding day, why can't it be ok with you (others) too?  Kasi parang kung sino ang ikakasal sya pa ang neeffort magpasaya ng bisita. Hello, tayo dapat bida di ba?

i've been lurking here for quite some time now. we're planning a sept 2015 budget wedding and we have not booked anyone yet! we already talked to some suppliers and they said sept is not a peak season so it's okay kahit medyo late na kami.
