^sis super nakakatulong sakin yung honey last time na may dry cough ako. I dont know nga lang if yours is the same but mine was super itchy so sya yung magti trigger nung cough ko, in the middle of the night nagigising pa ako to cough. Tried taking cough meds and even anti histamine to get rid of the itch and discomfort but to no avail. Then i tried honey (1 tsp lang, as needed), almost instant relief sa itchiness and so di na rin ako halos ng cough! :) then increase lang din fluid intake and take lots of vitamin c para lalo mas mapabilis mawala yung cough! Goodluck sa wedding! Best wishes! :)

Sorry mga sis, segue lang. My wedding is  this saturday na, nagkalagnat ako nung sunday and yesterday and now I've developed a cough na. sobrang stress ata and pagod nakakasakit na. Argh! Yoko naman inuubo during wedding lalo sa vows. Kaya di talaga adviseable magcram.

Leave na ako starting this Wednesday. Any advice for quick remedies, meds or shots for my cough? Im taking vitamins in the morning and at night. Di naman pwede rest lang buong araw madami pa kelangan gawin. what to do? #stressedmuch

sis nagka dry cough din ako before my wedding lumaklak ako ng tubig with lemon buti di tumuloy sakit ko sa wedding day

Girls, may question ako. Is it okay if walang bouquet ang bridesmaids ko? I'm thinking of getting them wrist corsages instead.

good reminder to us all b2bs here :)
2 months to go for us and sometimes, nai-stress ako.. baka kase me nakalimutan, or di naasikaso etc.. na baka there are things which will not go according to our plans, even after a year of preparation and everything.. imagine, almost everyday natin to pinaghahandaan for more or less than a year, then me mga things talaga na out of our control..
so best to let go talaga on the day itself.. :)

Indeed. I plan to let go and let be. I am more worried about my mum who is known to nitpick and make a fuss about the smallest of things! I've talked to her and repeatedly told her that she shouldn't stress me out  should problems arise during the wedding day. However, knowing her personality, I AM TERRIFIED. Ngayon pa lang, she makes a big deal out of minute details! She's a momzilla in the making (if she isn't one already hahaha). Hay nako, I don't know what to do with her. Kawawa naman ako. Hehe.

Thanks belle_v2g and hallerski :D Parang i don't want our parents to have a bouquet din. Also the female principal sponsors. Anyway we're still thinking about it

Another question, is it okay if magsuot ng barong ang ninongs kahit naka tux si groom? pati parents coat and tie. Or should we require the ninongs to wear suits as well?

May 2015 bride here. Relax lang ako hehe. Even our emcee mentioned it, sabi nya for someone getting married 2 months away, chillax lang kami na couple. I guess kasi we already got married sa judge and this is just to celebrate with all our loed ones.

I just put my wedding website up using TheKnot. I'm not sure why people here in the Philippines don't use wedding websites much but I found it really fun and have gotten compliments from guests. It also drummed up excitement for the wedding - I posted their the planned activites also the day after and biglang na fully book na [textspeak!] resort where we're having the wedding weekend. :)

Masyado akong naaaliw sa DIY sa Pinterest and I think this is where I need to let go a bit more. :) I have a full-time coordinator/stylist/florist and they're pulling together all the details for me pero gusto ko makigulo minsan. Hehe!

Tips lang sis although hindi pa ako nakakaraos pero some lessons learned along the way -
1) Share the burden. I have friends/family who ask me many times if kelangan ko daw ng tulong. I guess I'm so used to doing things on my own. Now I got my invites, souvenirs and distribution of invitations for free :)
2) I love it that I'm friends with some of my wedding suppliers. Zalby for my wedding gown, Kitchen Revolution for my cake (we are vegans) and Pop Up Occasions for my invites. Alam ko I'm in good hands!
3) Find ways to get your guests more involved in the planning and/or ceremony. It'll make it more fun for them - hindi lang sa audience pero part ng mismong wedding nyo. :)

Happy planning!

The wrist corsage is actually a good idea and budget friendly! :) Actually sabi nga sakin ng mom ko, mas hassle sa kanya as a ninang / parent to have a bouquet. She prefers a corsage so she doesn't have to worry about what she'll carry.

For your principal sponsors, nasa sa inyo naman ng groom mo yan. There are no hard rules about what they should wear pero mas maganda tignan if lahat naka suit or lahat naka-barong. :)

^sis simang me and my husband decided na si hubby lang ang magsusuot ng tux and all the rest nakabarong para naman stand out si hubby nung wedding namin. Good thing naman na walang naging pasaway that day.

Yun din iniisip ko, na ayokong asikasuhin pa nila na may bitbit silang bulaklak. But then, my sister said mas maganda sa photos pag lahat may bouquet.. Hahaha

Hmm, our wedding kase is not very formal. Yung sa mga male abays okay na yung idea namin sa susuotin nila, medyo parang di lang sya appropriate for the male principal sponsors, kaya naisip namin barong na lang. Although on second thoughts, barong is still very formal. Haha

^sis simang me and my husband decided na si hubby lang ang magsusuot ng tux and all the rest nakabarong para naman stand out si hubby nung wedding namin. Good thing naman na walang naging pasaway that day.

Isa din to sa concerns namin, na baka hindi lahat sumunod sa suggested attire namin. Parang pag sinabi mong barong, mas madali sa kanila kaya yun naisip namin. Although yun nga, super formal pa din..

Thanks for these sis ileina! :) I guess I'm just too blessed to have a very hands-on sister when it comes to helping us with the preps. The best thing is hands-on sya not in the pakialamera way but in a very supportive way :) Excited na ko to start our DIY projects with my ate.

Speaking of guests being involved in the planning -- agree!! My photog friend will be doing one of our e-sessions, yung isang friend ko yung magiging prenup stylist namin, and another friend will be recording the behind the scenes. All of those, TY and pagkain lang ang bayad. Haha! And then my college barkada will be sponsoring our desserts buffet :) One of them is starting her desserts business, so sila na magsusupply samen, and our other friends will help sa styling and setup. Nakakatuwa din kase they genuinely want to help. And knowing their kaartehan and ka-OC-han, mas lalo ako naeexcite :)
