Hello everyone!
This is quite a long post, please bear with me

Just to share with you, I was helping one friend of mine who was organizing her March 5, 2015 wedding. Just a background, this friend was the one who told me that once she gets married, she will only invite around 50-60 guests, so when her bf proposed to her last year, they were dead on having that very intimate wedding. Unfortunately or fortunately for them, work made them so busy, so they just started their preps, January this year, around 89 days before her wedding. True enough, we were able to have that very intimate wedding, what they did was:
1. They knew who and how many to invite.
2. They knew their idea of the wedding that they wanted.
3. They knew how to prioritize the needs and the wants.
4. They asked friends to help out in the wedding
5. They were not easily influenced by parents, family and friends.
First the church, they got married in a transfiguartion church in Antipolo, which they got for 5k, and super worth it! the pictures were just beautiful. They hosted 3 receptions. One for after the church which included the couple, their immediate families (total of 7!), godparents and around 2 friends (me and another friend) we were only there because, I had to make the floral decor and the other since she drove for the priest. The first reception was in Seven Suites, coincidentally, there was a star gazing activity, so that was our form of entertainment. No hosts, no OTDs, no entertainment, just the people and PV! For the 2nd reception, the couple invited their friends, it was in a newly opened restaurant around Marikina. It is a shoe factory turned into an event's place. Since they were still on soft opening mode, they got 50% off the cost! Our theme was food and drinks! we had a quiz night, and we only had the SDE as our form of entertainment. Me and my friend just put up a snack bar, different types, kinds of chips inside brown bags with names of the guests and table names (named after their favorite beer brands), so it was their snack as well as their escort cards. And for the 3rd reception, the couple just hosted for their extended families.
Their wedding was very beautiful, touching albeit being expensive. A great experience in organizing, I might say.
Oh, before I forget, here are the list of their suppliers and the costs which I got to know:

Happy preps ladies! Remember, we just have to be reminded that the most important part of getting married is after the wedding, let's not be carried away with too much aesthetics.
