Hi sis, the ceremony and altar pictorial should be within 1.5 hours. The pictorial on the church grounds (outside the church) has no time limit

The traffic from SSJ to BL mostly depend on the month. If it's on November-January, I suggest you allot around 1-1.5 hours just to be safe HTH

How long does SSJ allow for post-nup pictorial at the altar or church grounds? Also, does anyone here happen to know how the traffic is on a Saturday from SSJ to Blue Leaf McKinley?

^gelitorres thanks for the info! Our wedding is on May 7. Less traffic ba kapag summer months? But then again, me and my fiancé didn't know when we decided on our wedding date that it would fall on the weekend before election. How do you think traffic is around that time? Sorry for the questions.. overseas bride here and I'm not familiar with the roads eh.

^ yes less traffic during that month compared to -ber months. I don't think the election would be a problem because usually, the major roads like EDSA won't be utilized for campaigns. I think 1 hour travel time would be enough

^hi sisses joining, may nakita ako skyline view at greenlounge at bttc centre along ortigas lang din, but i read they charge 5k for prenup e. There's a place my friend had her pics taken, it's called ronac art center, just before santolan lang kung galing sa SSJ. Gusto namin ng skyline view for the post nup too yung tipong sunset heehee but saan kaya?

Still thinking of 3 or 4pm slot.

Any suggestions for post nup pics locations will be greatly appreciated! Wala akong kaalam-alam with regards to event spaces and places for pictorials eh. Would like to have a sunset pictorial as well.

Hi SSJ brides! Ask ko lang sana who signs the green papers that were given to us after reservation? These are addressed to Wedding coords, Photg, Video, Florist, Musicians. Tayo ba mag fill out? Meron kasi sa baba Name&Sig of Representative, i wonder if ibibigay natin ito sa lahat before the wedding? TIA!

I was part of a wedding entourage here before. We had our pictorial at Crowne Plaza hotel, helipad. Maganda shots kasi sunset and early evening skyline view.

Wow, really?! My reception is at Crowne Plaza din. Hope to get beautiful post nup pictures as well.

mas ok ba talaga dito? yung door talaga gusto ko eh, haha. Glass Door kasi sa CTK.

Sa mga nakapunta na on both, ano po mas malaking church? alin po yung mas mahaba ang aisle?
Mas ok ba ang post-nup pictorial sa CTK?

Anyone has an update about the sound system? Maayos na kaya ngayon?

Hi hermione28. I live near Ortigas Area so I am familiar with all the churches nearby such as SSJ, CTK, and Mary the Queen.

Christ the King Pros: Lots of parking, has a wide open space with some grass/trees where you can take pictures after. Church is big but has a shorter aisle-- since it is a circular church.

Santuario de San Jose: More photogenic than CTK, longer aisle, better grand entrance with wooden doors, no parking lot-- but not a hassle to park since it is in a private village. Long aisle since the church has a long rectangular layout.

With regard to the look of the altar- it depends if you prefer something more modern or traditional. I personally prefer the traditional look of the SSJ altar though.

Hi mga sis. Sobrang layo ba ng SSJ sa Marriot? Concern kasi ako baka mabitin time for pictorials. My wedding kasi is 4pm since according to feng shui yun daw best time namin to wed.

Lunaki yung chances na SSJ kame kasi irerenovate daw ang CTK. Ayoko naman ng may renovation sa kasal ko.

Napadaan ako sa Mt. Carmel dati may kasal tapos nirerenovate yung church. Ayoko naman ng ganun.

Sabi nya 2pm daw. kasi 4pm masyado ng late weekdays pa naman. 7pm na mag start reception. late na daw. I agree.

si h2b mas gusto 4pm para daw di masyadong nagmamadali. saka usually mga gust nakapag lunch na by this time. I agree as well.

^Kami we based it on what our photographer suggested in terms of the lighting he needs. We were choosing between 3pm and 4pm. Photographer suggested 3pm so we can still have pictorials with natural daylight in the reception venue. If 4pm wala na.

Sana we can reach the venue earlier. Para may konti pang liwanag, malapit lang naman yung VV6. Sana lang hindi traffic, monday rush hour pa naman. Sinabi ko to kay h2b but he's driving in that area all the time when we we're still in PH he said kaya daw. Wala na ko nagawa. Hehe.
