mga sis if i book musicians (no singer), pwede ba for the church songs yung soloist na ng church ang kakanta? do i still need to upgrade din the 3k from sir Ronald for the sound system? baka i need mics too..

just an update mga sis, i talked to ms. jeanne of libante sabi nya if we are getting musicians we need to add the minimal fee (i guess eto yung 3k) kay ronald, then siya na bahala sa sound system, as well as mics i am getting libante for instrumental lang kasi both ceremony and reception, si ronald daw pwede na bahala sa church songs na need kantahin happy preps!

Ladies, how do I get in touch with Sir Ronald?

Do I go to him directly to talk about the music and the flowers? Or should I inform the parish office that I plan to set a meeting with him?

Also, when would be the best time to meet with him? My wedding is not til Feb 2016, but I want to know also if it's better to outsource the music and flowers or okay to get it na lang from SSJ.

Hi, sissies! We've short listed Sanctuario de San Jose kasi but when we got the.. Green paper? Haha list of requirements, it was stated there that only Catholic principal sponsors. Are they strict with this? Will they ask for proof? Like baptismal or marriage cert of the PSs? Kasi merong Protestant na PS si H2B and 1st pa sila sa list.

Comment lang. Nakakaloka na DONATION rate nila ah. Non-refundable reservation fee. Sa Mary the Queen refundable.

SSJ bride here too.. Wedding is on august 8, 2pm..  Just want to share lang yung mga most infor na tinatanong nyo hehe..

1. Church Flowers - For me elegant naman na yung church so ok lang na simple flowers lang. ok naman yung mga flower stand nila, nag add lang kami ng tulle which costs 500 php. Kay SSJ admin na ito babayaran..May album pala dun sa admin office, andun yung number nung church florist, si buboy, yung iba siya na lang mismo ang kinocontact para ma upgrade yung mga flowers nila.

2. SOund System/ SOloist ORganist - We get ROnald Ong's service for the additional sound system set-up as advise by our Band (Madz and Dzhei). Si SSJ admin and nagrefer sa kanya samin. Yung free kasi ni SSJ is super basic sound system lang, isa lang yung mic nila at medyo mahina daw yung sound pag may kakanta ng live kasi nasa taas sila nakapwesto. Kung wala naman kayo band, since si Sir Ronald ay taga SSJ din kumakanta din sila. so yung 3K pwedeng sila na din ang kumanta. Nacontact namin si Ronald nung mismong day na binigay samin ni admin yung number nya. andun lang siya sa church kaya nabigay na din namin agad yung bayad sa kanya.

3. Sa dami ng nabasa kong reviews etc.. si SSJ na ata ang isa sa pinaka hindi strict na church, pwede ang personal vows, hindi maxadong strict sa damit and ok yung admin nila, helpful sa mga requirements. madali din sila macontact kasi wala silang rest day hehe.

4. For Principal Sponsors - Hindi naman nila kami hiningian ng proof na catholic lahat ng sponsors namin. nagsubmit lang ako ng list of their names with their respective addresses..


Question, may mga guest priest po ba kayo? or you know a good priest in SSJ?

Hi, sis! SSJ bride here too! December 30 naman ako and 2pm slot.. We're thinking of ugrading the flowers because i know some people who did. Do they have pictures of former weddings na hindi nagupgrade ng flowers? Sayang din kasi. Additional cost pa yun. Our band is sound salad and they're also playing during our reception. Sound system upgrade is required.

You're right that they're not that strict. I even asked if they have rules re attire. No naman daw. We chose this church kasi fiance and i were bothe confirmed here nung mga bata pa kami..☺️

Mga sis ano ang offertory nyo? Is there something recomended by the church let's say canned goods instead of flowers etc? what are you offering on the ceremony? Thank you!!

^ hi sis.. hindi ko maxado tanda kung hindi upgraded yung pics na andun album ng flowers.. pero nakita ko na kasi yung sa wedding ng friend ko, ok naman yung flowers na para sakin.. saglit lang naman dun sa church.

^ offertory wala naman sila sinabi. tayo na daw bahala kung ano ibibigay. sakin ginaya ko lang din yung sa friend ko, flowers, host and wine, tapos canned goods.

me din, not upgrading the flowers anymore because i want it to be simple lang, add nalang ako ng drapes and will upgrade the sound system from ronald for my musicians.

Hi there! Pareho tayo.. my wedding is on May 7, 2016 though. We booked the 2pm ceremony then 5pm cocktail, 6pm dinner at Blue Leaf. I'm praying that we've got enough time for the post-nup photo and travel from SSJ to Blue Leaf.

Sisses, my wedding date is december 30, 2015. Wednesday but holiday. Ang worry ko naman is light yung traffic and not enough to prolong travel time before reception. hehe. Crowne plaza reception ko. Baka masyado humaba cocktail hour. Ayoko mabore yung guests kakahintay during cocktails..

Hi, sis! Can only answer re: pictorial after ceremony. They'll give you 1:30 in the church. Typically the service will run around 45 mins. If you'll start on time, you have 45 mins at most for pictorials. As for traffic between SSJ & Blue Leaf Mckinley it really depends on the month & day you'll have you're wedding. Hope this helps!
