My entourage had their first fitting today! I was amazed at how fast my designer works. They only got measured last April and the gowns are already 80% done. Super excited. <3

sparklingjewel, the actual dress minus some adjustments on the fit and fixing the ruching! My MoH, mom and FMIL's gowns have beading pa so that will take a while but everything else is a-ok. So pleased.

Sis toria kung okay ka lang sa 168 there was an okay designer kahapon sa fair, naiwan ko kasi yung calling card nya sa car, hahanap ko mamaya. Meron sila naka display na full lace serpentina (tama ba?) gown for 15k lang. Pasok sya sa budget mo Pag makita ko yung calling card i-pm ko sya sa iyo

wala pa sis. i'm scheduling a meeting pa lang with her for my measurements. kailangan na ba magpapayat when doing that? been so busy with tournaments and training di kaya magdiet haha.

may isang fitting pa pala? grabe super lapit mo na. excited to see the finished dress!

sis rightback, you're fit na naman and you have an active lifestyle pa! no need magpapayat lalo na kung healthy ka and comfortable with your body. wag ka muna magworry about pagpapapayat for measurement taking kase usually the designers want to do the last fitting as close to the wedding date as possible para masigurado ang fit ng gown.

Is it necessary to have 2 gowns on wedding day pansin ko kasi most of b2b now a days 2 gowns na pinapagawa on their wedding day or if not 2-in-1 na.. Kasi Haydee Garcia designed a frou frou gown na medyo mahaba train kaso naisip ko lang baka mahirapan ako pagdating sa reception namin so i'm planning to revise the design make it 2-in-1 or papagawa na lang ako ng panibagong gown. But the thing is l na start na ata yung gown ko so I don't know if pano ko sasabihin na 2-in-1 na lang since na start na baka panibagong quotation na naman yun. Help! TIA

^ nope, not necessary. I would question whoever influenced you to think that it's a necessity. a lot of GT brides had/are planning 2 gowns which is totally nice but it doesn't mean you *NEED* to do the same. Personally I'm only using one gown because sayang din. You only get to wear it once; might as well maximize it.

^futuremrsyoung, no sis.. not a necessity. I had 2 gowns made for a reason. I had such a heavy bridal gown with a long train. It's pretty, and I definitely would love to wear it all night. But I might end up tripping myself at the reception if I don't change into another during our grand entrance and first dance.. it depends on your requirements hunnie but you dont have to if you don't need to.

No, sis. I don't think it's a requirement. It's just a preference of some brides to have a second gown kasi maybe their ceremony gown is to heavy, walking around and dancing in it would be difficult. Im only having one gown for my wedding this December. The design should be appropriate for both ceremony and reception. Not too simple pero di din sobrang extravagant.

I notice some brides who opt for a 2 in 1 gown, the ceremony gown usually is a ball gown then the reception gown is serpertine cut. If you can rock those two, by all means go for it.. 😉
