Ang hirap maghanap ng gown na gusto ko ipa custom made. D kasi ako payat. Di din naman duper mataba. Di pantay pantay skin color ko kasi i work in the field. So may mga uneven lines ako sabi ng iba d daw magnda long sleeve sakin kasi maeemphasize lalo arms ko ayoko naman makita yung uneven lines ko huhuhu fair skin naman ako, im torn pa din between ivory white or champagne/ecru.

^Sis if youre gonna do long sleeves, better champagne/ecru para skin tone and less emphasis on the arms =)

^For Roxy, dun sa peg ko 40k-50k, however sinabi ko sa kanya yung budget ko, pede daw, medyo babaguhin nya lang yung design, instead of embroidery, gagawin nyang lace appliques, mga 30k yun. Di ko pinush kasi gusto ko embroidered talaga:)

si Maureen Cruz naman, almost the same, pede pa daw babaan if hindi keri ng budget. Si Nino Angeles mga 45k up yung quote sken.

Btw, i booked Bridehouse PH, siguro I bought the experience na din, di lang yung gown. Maayos kausap si Ms. Carmen and dun ko naramdaman yung "This is it" feeling when I tried on their gowns (Actually nung nakita ko gown ni Edward Teng, dun ko unang naramdaman un haha kaya lang super mahal na so di ko na pinush)

Thanks sis Chili1113! Yes i might go with champagne or ecru. Are they the same? I went to bridalroom in BF Homes. Very nice and eleganta ng mga gowns nila. And the ambiance is very nice also. Ok din mga rates nila 😊 also tried Ivory and White, dami ko sinukat dun, muntik na nga ako magbook pero 33k up din kasi yung mga nagustuhan ko. Ang gaganda, very feminine and romantic mga gowns dun. Im torn now between Ivory and White or have a custom made gown by Haydee Garcia. Haydee is very nice as well. And mukang malinis at maayos ang gawa. Though gusto ko sana makakita ng mga finished na. Mga for finishing palang kasi yung nasa shop niya

sis ang starting ni nino angeles when i inquired last year was at 25k. nung time na yun roxy was at 20k naman. pero tumataas din depende sa design and add-ons.
i was only able to meet with roxy though kase medyo natagalan si nino magreply when i initially asked for his rates (tsaka i discovered na sya nag-design nung gown nung dating niligawan ni h2b. haha! random kwento lang. ) at nagustuhan ko naman si roxy add to that na ang daming good reviews about her work and customer service tsaka i found her rates reasonable.

Sis suggestion lang... na go for light champagne. And i think mas bagay sayo if yung mahaba yung sleeve. Yung lace lace lang, na may mga embroidery and beadworks. Para ang attention hindi sa arms mo but sa mga details.
Sis may i know if panong mga lines? From shoulders to elbow lang ba? If yes, pwede ka naman sis yung hanggang dun lang na sleeve.

Ask mo sis yung designer mo ang explain yung mga gusto mo emphasize and gusto mo enhance.

How much pala rate ni haydee garcia sa bridal gowns? konti lang din kasi ang portfolio nya sa bridal gowns kaya your opinion on how she works matters.

cross out na sa list ko si maureen dahil ang floor ng rates nya is 50k (75k quoate nya sa peg ko na gown). si roxy bagano naman waiting pa ko for reply dahil nasa honeymoon pa. sana lang hindi super mahal ang quote nya sa sample gown i sent her.

Thanks belle_v2g. Ahh may light champagne pala . I might get that. Ayoko naman kasi na ng dark. Maputi naman ako, kaya lang halata kasi yung lines ko sa arms, parang t shirt line ba. Ang arte ko ayoko kasi ng visible sya masyado. And im not confident as well with my armpits haha so baka mag off shoulder ako or yung lacey lacey na sabi mo sis.

Haydee garci starts at 20k. Pero may mga add ons ka at iba pang details na intricate, umaakyat yung rate. Ang ganda nya.

@bimbolera: awwww ganun ba, diko inexpect na 50k yung quote ni haydee. Siguro dahil simple lang gown na gusto ko pero dreamy and romantic ang peg, kaya siguro nasa 20-30k lang ako. Hipe you'll find your couturier na.

kisses 1417: yup sis and pag champagne/ecru/beige yung color ng lace/beading sa sleeves it blends more sa skintone vs white, so mas slimming ang beige than white sa arms!  Also tell your designer wag lagyan ng heavy lace or beading sa sleeves bec it also draws attention and makes the arm look heavy.Dapat delicate lace and beading lang and very sheer tulle covering lang.

Hahaha medyo dilema ko din to. My designer made me choose from 2 designs. I sleeveless, 1 with sheer 3/4 sleeves. I prefer the long sleeved design more, but my concern is that it might make my arms look bigger. Ill have to discuss this with my designer when I see her. But I am sure there is a way to wear sleeves and still not make your arm look so big. Pinaka unflattering sa arms Ive noticed is when there are big round patches or lace on the sleeves!!!

Hi mga sis, just want to share my supplier for the gown. Well im so happy like with my gown kahit na budgeted, ay grabe many said na pwede lumevel sa edward teng ang itsura ng gown ko, pero the designer worked with it, kahit small lang talaga ang budget ko, kaya super thankful ako sa kanya.

My gown designer is Jojo Macapinlac, may shop siya sa pampanga. Super dali kausap and works on my budget talaga, full of beads and very elegant, chubby kasi ko kaya lacey lacey ang peg ko, pero kung sexy ako.. sleveless backless yan:) haha.. hassle free din [textspeak!] 4 meet ups lang ako sa knya, una nung sukatan, second sa base, third fitting and final fitting. i preferred 2 weeks before my wedding and final fit, para ma adjust mabuti. He delivered my gown during my wedding day and assited me sa pagsukat....
It's PERFECT and Lovely   plus hair accesories and bag/veil/pillows provided nia na so... Im Happy
