Wedding Shoes

Whaaaaaa... need to change my my shoes!! The low ones I am wearing for the reception is still too high. H2B and I tried our shoes on and I am still taller than him!! =( =( This is the downside of being a tall bride.

Anyway, we will try to add insoles to his shoes, and 1 layer extra sole. I am hoping this will be enough to make us look at least the same height.

If not, I have to wear flats. I dont want to! I want at least 1.5 inch heels. Hayyyy

i can relate sis huhu. 2-3 inches yata wedding shoes ko tapos muntik ko ng mataasan si hubby. hirap talaga if  halos magkaheight ni hubby e

^Sis, did you have to change your shoes? Oo nga hirap. 1/2 inch lang tangkad ni H2B sa akin eh kaya konting heels lang mas mtangkad na ako =(

wow ang tatangkad nyo naman! I remember Isabel Oli wear flats din kasi nga mas matangkad sya kay John Prats. hehe.

Ako nga 5 inches heels na, mukha pa din akong bata kay h2b. ang tangkad! haha. Para kameng Cheska and Doug. 

Mga sis saan pwede magpagawa nung ilalagay ang date or YES  I DO don sa shoes? Gusto ko sana palagyan yung shoes namen ni h2b.

waaaaa problema ko rin to. hindi ako tall bride (short ako. hehe) pero 2-3 inches taller si h2b than me.. need ko magheels due to my gown na rental lang kaya mahaba sya. hay.. so parang kelangan din palang magheels ni h2b if ever. nyahaha!

I'll be wearing flats din kasi matangkad ako kay fiance ng one inch. hehe. sya ang kailangan magpatangkad. ang goal nga lang namin ay kahit magka-height lang kami, okay na ko! haha!

Has anyone bought colored shoes for their wedding? I'd like to add a pop of color, but i'm not sure if this will look odd or not.

^I bought nude colored shoes. My friend did red on her wedding day. Uso na ata yun ngayon e to do colored shoes

@stella - my hubby bought me nude coloured shoes which I was hoping to wear sa wedding, pero medyo masakit sya sa paa plus stillettos sya hehe not the best for our preps/ reception area. I might go with my other option which are my red chunky heeled platforms. They will be my something old. hehe.

Missus O!! Thanks for the link!! Those are such pretty pretty flats =) Hehe makes wearing flats on your wedding day look glam.

I just hope I don't need to buy flats  because i don't want to spend anymore moolah =(

^My friend akong kinasal na mas matangkad siya sa groom nya, they didn't mind naman. pinapastep lower nalang nung photog yung bride nung picture taking

Thanks meixin!! =) =) I feel better now. Nainis lang ako with H2B because he kept saying he doesnt mind being shorter than me pero nung prenup naman namin, tiptoe ng tiptoe sa pictures and halata pala sa shots hehe. It didn't look very nice.

=(  =(  Time to look for a 3rd pair of wedding shoes. Thank God I got my reception pumps on sale and it is something I can wear for other parties. At least hindi sayang if ever I really need to wear flats.

Thanks @Meixin and @Missus O! Think I might go with the colored heels since there's a designer pair I've been eyeing, and I want to make sure I'll be able to use it after the wedding. I'm also planning to have an old pair on hand, in case my feet get sore!

@Chili1113: You might want to try Suelas. I know they have nice bridal flats, and they're quite cheap. Comfy too!

All alongvi thought 2-3" lang yung heels ng wedding shoes ko. I got to measure with a ruler the night before the wedding. 5 inches pala sila! Super comfy ng reception shoes ko kahit 5". Nakatakbo pa ako at nakasayaw hehe

nung una plan ko talaga bumili ng flats saka 1 with heels sis pero naisip ko sayang naman kaya 1 pair of wedding shoes na lang binili ko. 2 inches lang ata yun. basta nung nag shoe hunting ako sinama ko talaga si hubby para makita ko gaano ko katangkad sa kanya if suot ko na yung shoes. so far medyo magkaheight ata  kami dun sa 2-inch shoes ko na yun haha

I don't know if this is the right thread for this query. But still want to know if there's someone who can help me with this.

My shoe size is 3-4. Ever since, I'm having trouble finding the right shoes for me, esp. pairs for formal events. As for my office shoes, I used to buy from Ferreti and Rusty Lopez “Kids”, size 3 pa nga ako dun. I also tried Payless, and I’m size 2 there pero too much kiddie yung styles.

Dahil super liit ng paa ko, nahihirapan ako maghanap ng wedding shoes na kasya sa mala-Cinderella kong paa. :’( Anyone here who has a suggestion where I can buy shoes of my size?
