Wedding Shoes

Hello! Pwede bang humingi ng feedback? Naghanap-hanap na ako ng wedding shoes ko. Marami-rami na rin akong nakita. BTW our motif is midnight blue, silver, gray. So ang iniisip kong shoes ay midnight blue din sana or silver or gray, or pwede ring light blue siguro since sa entou ko mag-iincorporate ako ng grayish blue na color para hindi masyadong dark tingnan.

Nakapagtingin na ako sa SM Makati, dito ko kasi nabasa na merong Badgley Mischka dun and na parang usually yun ang ginagamit as wedding shoes. May mga nakita ako na parang ok and na on sale (I think nasa 5-6k), gray yung color. Parang medyo malungkot nga lang yung color haha. Pero nung pinakita ko sa friends ko, parang lahat sila isa yun sa pinili na pwedeng maging wedding shoes (marami akong pinicturean na sapatos at pinakita sa kanila hehe).

Pero may nakita kasi ako sa Clarks, light blue patent pumps na 2.5 yung heels. Gustong gusto ko siya kasi super comfy! Ang daming cushion! Kahit yung sa may ankles merong cushion para hindi masugatan. Medyo mahal lang, nasa 7k pero naisip ko kasi sulit naman kasi nga ang sarap sa paa. Pero walang pumili nun sa friends ko haha! Sabi nung iba mukhang pang-office daw saka masyadong pointed. Though ako gusto ko yung pointed kasi para mukhang mahaba paa ko (size 5 lang kasi ako haha). Anong tingin ninyo? Hindi ba siya mukhang pang wedding? Hehe. Plano ko balikan yung mga Badgley Mischka para icheck sila sa paa ko and kung fit and comfy. Pero kung wala akong makita na ok na sakto sa paa ko na comfy, iniisip ko kung yung sa Clarks nalang bibilhin ko. Thanks!

^ It's plain looking lang kasi, in my opinion.. Pero kung mas comfy naman kasi and gusto mo naman talaga why not  I rather liked the one on the upper right, then I noticed Jimmy Choo's pala so nevermind haha!

ncs - same motif! share your ideas kung ano mga gagawin mong midnight blue. Even if I want to incorporate to most of the item, parang ayoko din kasi masyado ngang madilim, baka maging malungkot naman tignan.

Yung shoes sis masyado ngang plain. Though yung shoes ko walang design sa taas, pero may crystals yung heels and sequin/glittery yung buong sole.

Ito sis ang gusto ko hanapin.

Planning to wear colored shoes that will match my theme. Midnight blue. Super nagandahan dito.

Hi hermione28! Nabasa ko nga same motif tayo! May mga nakita akong ganyan, sa Steve Madden saka sa Dune, pumps yun.

So far ang na-plano ko palang is yung kulay ng entou haha. MOH and BMs naka midnight blue tapos yung mga SS and Jr BMs naka Dusk Blue naman. Nung una dapat lahat sila naka-midnight blue pero naisip ko parang ang dilim masyado. Nakakita kasi ako ng pics na ang colors ng entou niya ay Wine Red and Blush Pink. Tapos natuwa ako dun sa contrast. Tapos mga PS and Parents ang naka-gray. So far yun palang hehe. Hindi ko pa kasi nakakausap stylist para sa reception

Anyway, thanks sa opinions ninyo! Sige subukan ko pa maghanap. Hirap maghanap ng midnight blue na shoes! Meron ako nakikita Royal Blue e parang masyadong loud haha.

^Your wedding shoes should really depend on you sis. If you find that it's too plain, you can add a brooch if you want.  My wedding shoes at the moment will be my nude stilettos.. pag na break in ko sya that is... hehe.. kasi the first time I wore it, sumakit pas ko hehe..

NCS, I actually like how simple and classy looking those pumps are! Bonus pa na its well cushioned despite being pointy! Missus O is right, it will really depend on you. I know yah, tiis ganda but we all know hindi biro magheels the whole day haha. In my opinion mapapansin lang naman ng guests yan once, sa SDE. Maybe a couple of shots then thats it?  After that, hindi na nila maiisip kung plain or not yung shoes mo. Try adding some DIY bling na lang nga:) But if having really nice wedding shoes is really important to you, hanap ka na iba nga.

As I shared here before, I bought two shoes for my wedding but thats because they were on sale. A pair of pumps thats not even pointy and a pair of sparkly high heeled sandals. If they were not on sale, Ill just get the pumps because I can wear them again and Im not really into bling bling =p

Missus O - same sis, I'm trying to break in my shoes. yung tipong nilalakad ko sya sa hallway ng building namen pabalik balik. ok naman nalalakad ko sya, kaso masakit talaga sa paa eh. 

If di talaga magwowork, I'll buy a comfy shoes kahit wala ng design. Yung gamit kong heels everyday, baka I'll buy a different design nalang tapos white. Eto subok na talaga.

Or yung Nine west ko gamitin ko sa church, tapos mag change ako kaagad.
nagagandahan kasi ako sa crystals tapos super shimmering yung glitter sa sole, kaya sya yung gusto ko picturan ng photographer sa preps. haha

hermione28, ganda nung details ng Nine West mo! Parang wala akong masyadong nakikitang ganyan dito. Sa Pinas mo ba yan binili? And yes bet ko nga rin yung mga Badgley Mischka na yun! Pero ang na-try ko lang sa paa ko yung champagne, ganda eh nakakaputi ng paa! Kaso hindi bagay sa motif natin haha. Kung medyo nude sana. Tama dba, gold/champagne naman yung color nun? Haha minsan nacocolor blind ako eh Kaya minsan tinitingnan ko dun sa price tag, madalas kasi nakalagay dun anong color talaga. Pinicturean ko rin siya kasi nakita ko may white so if ever pwede siya.

Hi girls! At first I really wanted Jimmy Choo and Valentino. But then kasi I realized na I'm not into heels and spending a fortune on these shoes and not wearing it after is 'sayang'. So, since I'm tall naman, I decided to wear flats. Found some really good ones in Tory Burch, costs around 15k. Tapos rosegold [textspeak!] color, tamang tama kasi light pink yung motif ko. But I also like some Kate Spade shoes pero hindi ko alam saan may available. 

BTW, i have canvassed shoes in Jimmy Choo sa EDSA Shang, yung new store nila dun. around 40k plus nakita ko.

Yes sis!. Kami kasi ng groom ko just 4 inches lang ang height difference kaya okay na ako sa flats.. Ayy I hope I can visit Japan. Mas mura pala talaga doon sis? Sana my valentino din. I also like the flats ng valentino pero wala naman ata dio s Philippines.

I have 2 pairs of wedding shoes already. One designer pair, for pictorials but are too high for me to wear for a long time. And one pair I plan to really wear all day.

Hay, when I went to my 3rd fitting I brought my non-designer shoes. And....... hay parang the gold Nina pumps I have do not go so well with my gown. My designer said they are OK. But when I look at it, it seems like the gold pumps look at bit off, and that I would do better with silver shoes, or satin ivory shoes, or nude shoes.

So my dilemna is whether I should try to look for another pair. Medyo super tamad na ako I am so busy and I don't enjoy going shoe shopping. Di naman masasayang the shoes I already have since I can easily wear it for other occasions and I got them on sale 2.5k lang hehe. Super nakakatamad lang.

So there, you might want to put off your shoe shopping till at least after a gown fitting when you see the actual lace and beading that will be on your dress.

^Would it still matter though? Kasi yung mappicturan naman is yung designer shoes then the rest of the night nakatago lang naman yung gold pumps mo di ba? Maybe you don't have to look for another one kung ganun

^I agree! I don't think you need to buy new ones @chili113, because no one will even see them (after prep photos are taken). I bought my wedding shoes already and I don't even have a gown design yet, haha. I just bought what I loved, and figured no one would see them (or pay attention) but me anyway. I'll probably only wear them during preps/ceremony, then will change to either comfier (old) heels or maybe even flats for the reception

All true, Chili. Nobody would see your shoes anymore. What guests would check out are your gown and HMUA. Hehe. I actually wore beaded flats come reception time because I was so darn tired already. It turned out to be a really wise decision because I didn't have trouble moving around and mingling with our guests

I went to Rustans last night and I saw the nude Louboutins I always admire on pictures. I think I change my mind about wearing flats, for the preps ceremony. hahahaha!.. And I think i'll go for nude ones kasi they'll fit any dress and any occasion. 

How about groom's shoes sissies? What's your groom going to wear? He said he's okay with Pedro shoes but I wanted to look for other choices..

^My husband had elevator shoes customized for him. Hehe. He's also a few inches taller than me. At first he didn't want to, but I prevailed. Haha! I told him that I would be wearing heels during the ceremony and post ceremony pictorials so he would look better if he wore elevated shoes so the height difference is more noticeable.
