Yes sis marchbridetobe!! surprisingly, this charles and keith pair are really comfy and looks nice on my feet. got them for only P3,800 during my brother's wedding. And so i wore them again for my own wedding. I really didn't want to spend on shoes kase ilan beses lang naman syang kukunan ng picture. I chose to splurge on my hair intead haha which is 5x more expensive than my shoes. At least ang hair nakikita all throughout the event!

sis abbeyS, my shoes are from Jimmy Choo din and they're super comfortable! I bought the champagne coloured ones para I can wear again sa ibang formal event.

We're having a garden ceremony and reception and buti nalang may nabibili ng heel protectors para hindi madaling mag dig-in sa grass yung shoes and hindi rin madumihan yung heels. Thought I'd share this sa ibang brides na outdoor yung wedding isa kasi ito sa worries ko before

^Where can you buy heel protectors? Although i can actually run in my heels im still interested to get just for insurance I want to be all over the garden during cocktails! Hehe

Sis me i got the shimmer suede lottie that i can also wear after haha. Would you know sis san nakakabili ng protectors, it's a pin heel kasi and a must to protect it

wore a valentino rockstud all day on our wedding and never had a problem. decided to splurge on shoes as i know i could still use it in other occasion. also, it could go with other outfit, dress and jeans! looks so sexy!

^Yes sis marchbridetobe.. Once ko lang ginamit kaya mukha pang bago. Sayang kasi wala akong ibang paggagamitan. I don't attend weddings here anyway. Anti social lang lol! tama, maganda ibang colour para magamit mo din sa ibang occasion.

Went to Shangri-La earlier. OMG all the Jimmy Choos at the boutique have killer heels hahaha The Badgley Mischkas in CMG and in Rustans were all 4.5 inch stilettos. =( =(

I was able to get a pair of matallic comfy 1.5 inch kitten heel pumps in Rustan's for me to change into after the ceremony. I plan to have 1 good pair for pictorials but wear my comfy pumps all throughout.

^Did you try on the Badgleys and find them comfy? Am i the only one who was slightly disappointed and expecting they would be more comfortable? The heels i bought so far are also low lang, 2.5 inch. Kept trying on the 3-3.5 inch ones and got scared i'd struggle in my gown during the march kasi medyo masakit na. Anyway, how were the Jimmy Choos? hehe

sparklingjewel: the badgleys were a bit disappointing especially since they were all so high too. But I guess theyre OK for the price since some were even cheaper than La Faire Fete custom shoes which are about 7k.

The Choos are just beautiful!! None of the bridal one are on sale and they all cost 50k-70k LOL The lowest bridal heels I saw were 4.5 in but it had a small platform in front. The rest are all killer shoes. There were other styles on sale but not very formal or dark colored ones. The cheapest I saw was about 33k.

Really 7k na Faire La Fete? Last time my friend had hers made 4k lang daw hehe wedding was late last year...pero i wasn't impressed lang with the output kaya i didnt inquire myself.

thanks sis! im sure you'll look so good as well with your shoes... if you really want to wear something like valentino, bcbg shoes has a very similar one, actually sobrang copy nya, at first look you will think that it is a valentino. check the link. it also comes with different colours.

sparklingjewel: When I emailed faire la fete she said the shoes are about 3800-6800 depending on the design. So I was thinking if their shoes reach almost 7k, might as well look for badgleys and add a bit more. But I didnt have luck finding anything with decent heel height.

I never thought bridal shoe shopping could be so difficult.

Has anyone here considered ordering online? I have some relatives arriving in December. But I am worried about not being able to try the shoes on or seeing them first.

Chili, they didn't have any of the 3-3.5" Choos? The Ivettes are my favourite at that height, the pitch is excellent and so stable. I've bought shoes online before but it's tricky if you've never tried ithem on; I usually only risk it if I'm familiar with the brand's fit and sizing. If you're considering the JCs, though, they make several of their styles in multiple heel heights (Lottie/Louise, Ivette/Lang, etc) so if you've tried the taller style on you're probably pretty safe ordering the lower-heeled version

sis abbeyS, I'm not sure lang kung saan meron dyan sa manila. I'm overseas kasi pero worth it na maghanap dyan para maprotect yung shoes. Sayang naman kung ma-damage.

sis sevenstars, I haven't bought mine yet. mahirap kasi i-guess yung size pag online bibilhin kaya naghahanap muna ako ng shop na meron para sigurado. let me know yung size when you get yours sis hehe. April next year pa yung wedding namin kaya matagal pa pero yung shoes yung pinakauna ko na binili kasi matagal ko na talaga syang gusto. Now I have an excuse to buy it hehe.
