Duterte for 2016
« on: February 24, 2015, 03:15:47 am »
I was born and grew up in Davao, matunog na ang name niya dati pa. Davao is like Subic people there are disciplined and they obey kasi talagang ang mga batas malinaw at nasusunod..like no smoking bawal manigarilyo sa Davao, this means walang cigarette vendor... as simple as that..

Now if Gordon will not run the Duterte is my best next option!!!
I am nobody.

Nobody is PERFECT.

Therefore, I am PERFECT!.

I thought he wasn't interested in running. But I just checked the news and he was quoted saying "he is not closing his doors." Anyway, he is well-know now, and what he's done with Davao. Senate won't be a good place for him. I think he's someone who gets things done.

I like Duterte. But I don't know if I want him to run for president or not.
So maybe there really is a chance na maging okay ang Philippines pag siya ang President.

So I'm not sure if gusto ko din siya maging president.

Kasi if he would die or retire as the mayor of Davao, he would be a legend. If he would be a President, there's a chance his name would be tainted.

I think he deserves a chance. Isa sya sa napakakonting politiko na pag pinapakinggan ko magsalita, I feel his passion as a public servant and he doesn't talk nonsense. It's time na mainstill talaga sa majority (if not all) ng Pinoy yung DISCIPLINE.

NOOOOOOO WAAAAAAY! sobra..He might have his own way of leadership sa Davao dahil nga daw disiplinado ang mga taga-davao but plueassse..look at davao now..not a growing place..and to think ang laki ng area..and nadismaya talaga ako noong sinabi niya na ok lang na tirahin ng mga taga MILF yong SAF kasi naman talaga lumagpas sila sa teritoryo...maybe ganun din ginagawa niya sa Davao..parang mga ibon lang na tinitira ng lumagpas or mga nagkakamali....Mayor nalang siya sa Davao, ok na yun

^I beg to disagree sa part na Davao is not a growing place. Kasi actually nagde-develop na ang Davao now talaga. Wala siguro masyadong high-rise buildings (which is not so advisable naman talaga sa type ng lupa) pero in fairness, nag risk sila ng high-rise condo na ginagawa pa ngayon (I'm not sure if I'd want to live there kung may pambili man ako ng unit. Haha).

Pero you're right nga na when it comes to crimes nga, wala talagang patawad si Duterte sa mga criminal. Pero in fairness to him, hindi yung mga pinapatumbag drug pushers sa Davao ay hindi naman basta-basta nalang pinapatumba without warning. Most of them know na target na sila at binibigyan ng chance umalis. Matigas lang talaga ulo nila.

Sorry Sis, but I think kahit saan ngayon e may mga tinatayong condos na rin o malalaking malls..What I was trying to say kasi e..sa laki ng area ng Davao e ang layo pa rin niya sa Cebu when it comes to development and Business opportunities not to mention yung tourism ng Cebu and considering gaano lang kaliit yung Cebu compared sa Davao..at saka isa pa..anong petsa na bah? kakadevelop pa lang ng Davao..

^The night after I posted that, napanood ko sa news na mabagal daw talaga pag-develop ng Mindanao dahil sa armed conflicts. Takot mga investors.
Di naman binanggit ang mismong Davao City, but since it's part of Mindanao, I assume na affected din siya.  ;D

Yes, malayo talaga ang Davao compared to Cebu lalo na when it comes to Tourism.

Like Digos, Tagum, Samal, etc... once kasi na kaya na ng isang district na maging city, (pag kompleto na sila ng establishments and other requirements to make them a city) eh humihiwalay na sila.

Wala bang development ang Davao? Well kung totoo nga yan, I'd rather live in an underdeveloped, disciplined city like Davao than rising, chaotic, more-criminals-than-I-can-count city like Manila. Hindi ako taga Davao pero I have been there quite a few times. And sobrang disiplinado ng mga tao. Unlike dito sa Makati, jusme, not a safe place for little kids and buntis. Andaming nagyoyosi everywhere! maglalakad pa yan habang nagyoyosi. Ultimo multicab merong malaking malaking ID. I sound like a fantard of Mayor Duterte na. Hahaha. I really admire him.

At nakaya nyang disiplinahin yun up to the smallest streets.

Kasi nga, masyadong kulang ang six years. Kung sa gusto, oo gusto. Para mabago ang Pilipinas. Pero I don't think 6 years is enough. Baka masayang lang ang oras nya.
Don't ever mistake my silence for ignorance, my calmness for acceptance or my kindness for weakness.

It's not true na 0 crime rate or lesser and crime rate sa davao..marunong lang talaga mag filter ang mga Duterte...yung bombing sa airport, yung murdered owner ng Crown Regency, Richard King..ang daling nalinis yun...sa davao napatay..at marami pang iba na hindi na isensationalized ng media, kasi nga takot.

but yes, If I were given a chance to choose davao or manila para tumira pamilya..I'll choose Davao..We had our vacation last year sa Manila for a week lang and nasabi ko talaga sa husband ko na we're blessed at hindi kami doon nakatira..

^Yes, Davao is super far from 0 crime talaga. ;D

Wala na bang iba pa na pupwede?

Ano ba nagawa ni Duterte sa Davao? Sana wag naman yun walang paputok pag new year at bawal manigarilyo lang.

In my humble opinion, Duterte is still the best option.

Given is the fact that all presidential aspirants, one way or another, have proven themselves. For one, the Binay's. They are banking that Makati is a prosperous city. Duterte, on the other hand, was able to direct and influence Davao and probably made Davao an ideal place to live. This was even internationally recognized.

I am from Luzon but for more than a year, I've worked in Mindanao, particularly in Agusan. Except areas of Zamboanga, Tawi Tawi and Sulu, siguro napuntahan or nadaanan ko lahat. For more than a year of my stay, on most weekends, I head to Davao. To my mind, parang nasa Batangas lang ako. So anong difference ng Davao? In Davao City, compared to other areas in Mindanao, mararamdaman mo ang sense of security. Surely, I can walk early morning in Davao City but I can't do that in Cotobato City or Agusan del Sur. Pag may kapayapaan ang lugar, business will surely thrive. Right now, I am working in Makati, peaceful din and safe, right? So anong difference, baka mas mahigpit sa Davao in enforcing the law. Good thing is yung thought na in Davao, alam mo that the local chief executive, kahit sa salita lang niya na bawal ang drugs and other lawless elements, nandoon ang assurance na susundin siya. If you will recall yung kidnap victim from Luzon na dinala sa Mindanao, naikot na maraming lugar, fortunately, magaling siya mag isip na sa Davao pa ma-bank transfer ang pera then doon siya na rescue, awesome story.

One question that will separate the presidentiables since lahat sila may nagawa... for me pipiliin ko na lang ang walang link sa corruption. Duterte, may maibabato ba sa kanya?

Yung mga taong nakapaligid? Gaya ng kay Gloria and PNoy? We are talking about respect and takot. We may be talking about personality ng mga presidentiables. Like PNoy in Mamasapano incident. When he told Purisima that SAF should coordinate with the AFP, sinunod ba? Sa tingin ko, impossible na mangyari yung ganoon if Duterte is the president. I've heard also from some reliable source that good governance talaga aim ng Duterte camp. Many of them are willing na di tumanggap kahit piso just to serve. Gusto lang nila linisin una ang Bureau of Custom, then BIR. Ewan ko lang ang ibang plans nila.

For the best interest of the country, dapat suriin nating mabuti kung sino ang susunod na karapat dapat maging presidente.

I was born and raised in Davao, ngayon just wander bakit ang mahal ng airfare to Davao mas madalas pa ako sa Boracay kaysa sa Davao na kung saan ako pinanganak at nag aral, I know Duterte is a good leader.

When it comes to economy, I don't think madaling malamangan ng DVO ang Cebu at Manila kasi location palang, talo na Dvo.

Anyway, sisses, do you think wala talaga pag-asa tumakbo si Duterte?

Can he win? That's the first question we were asking. If the ratings shoot up to at least 20% perhaps he will declare his candidacy. :)
