Ahh I see. Thank you mga sisses for clarifying! Kaya I wondered why kasama sa budget yun ni sis rightback. Wala sa plan ko/namin ang despidida de soltera, however, we're hosting a formal dinner with all our PS plus our parents, to officially ask/invite/welcome them and that will be coming from our wedding budget ☺

This is a very nice idea. How long before the wedding are you planning to have this done sis?

hello sissy! we have the same budget, 500k. pero looking at my excel ngayon,(I started booking my suppliers last april lang, wedding is on January 2016) mukhang sosobra ata ako. don't forget ang photo and video plus your gown pa ha! happy preps! 

If your budget is 500k, target about 20% lower than that - around 400k instead. As the wedding day draws nearer, you'll find that there will be additional costs you didn't account for (ex. supplier's meals, transpo, gifts/tokens, etc.)

@ece - nahihirapan ako mag plan actually wala pa kami naboo-book kahit isa. Then iniisip ko pa sinong judge pwedeng magkasal samen, since civil garden ceremony ang plan. Hehe, enough of my negativities, happy preps to us sis!

Tama sis. Venues like Oasis and Ibarra's have packages that already include the caterer. For 200k, you already get both.

But if you want separated, budget mo how much per head you want to spend for the catering. There are really good caterers like Ignacio's that offer 500-900/head. There are those that are higher end but include styling already like K by Cunanan.

^ If kukunin lahat ng wedding expenses sa 500k, I think magkakashortage nga kami For now, we're thinking of getting the majors from the 500k. Things na para sakin - gowns, hmua, bouquet, damit of my family would be coming from my own pocket.

My h2b and I do not want to spend too much (too much i mean exceeding 250k).. sa panahon ngayon medyo challenging yan pero that what makes the preparation more fun and fulfilling..

same here sis dcpdane initially for 100 persons our budget is 300k. now, nag expand na to 370k. I'm still struggling to keep it at least below 350k. Goodluck on budgeting.

Same here sis. Our budget is between 200k-250k for 150pax. It's challenging, but we're finding ways to work within our means. So far, our venue and PV team are within budget naman. Fortunately, our wedding venue got everything we need covered at a really good price. Sa kanila na catering, flowers, and sound system. Kasama na sa package yun and they already have the design details I want for the wedding. So that's really great and less hassle na for us.

hi sis janabebe.. apir tayo diyan!  nalulula ako sa mga budget ng ibang sis natin heheh.. pero in it's our own choice and capacity din kasi. My wedding pala will be on August this year. nabook ko naman halos lahat..  nahihirapan lang ako sa set design medyo maarte kasi ako.. ang simple kasi sa Ibarra.  kaya yung 200k ko lalagpas din talaga. but it will not exceed 250k naman. Di naman ako choosy sa video, basta may raw video kami na mapapanood, that's enough. We opted not to have SDE, not because additional gastos but because ayaw talaga namin nun. Pwede ko naman yun edit on my own kahit simple lang.  Sa photo namn, dun ako choosy.. buti within budget din nakuha namin tapos ang galing pa accdng sa portfolio and reviews (Liz Ranola of Imagine Nation.)  Di na kami kumuha ng album. After wedding ko na lang asikasuhin yun.  How about you sis, when is your wedding? may mga supplier ka na?.. can you share it kahit on pm..

sabi ni Ms Mary Ann, yung kausap ko sa email, natural shots si Liz then for happy candid moments na medyo classic, si Betty. kaya nahirapan ako magdecide. I only got their labor + avp package sis.  for prenup, may isa pa kameng p/v team.

hi sis venuslovesyou! wow lapit na pala wedding mo! God bless sa preps mo!  Pareho tayo sis, maarte din ako sa overall look kaya when I saw this venue na in-line sa gusto kong theme ang mga designs nila, binook na namin. Plus the garden is really amazing.

Kami naman nakatipid kami sa PV team namin kasi they're really good friends of mine. Magkakasama kasi kami sa work before in TV prod so I know naman their quality of work. We got them for a SUPER cheap rate sis. Tapos invitation ko, dad ko gagawa (art director/animator/gfx artist kasi siya), then tito ko ang sa printing. Hehe! Ayun. Tapos yung gagawa ng dress ko is yung mananahi na family friend namin. Forte nya talaga ang gowns kasi siya gumawa ng mga prom gowns ng kapatid ko and nice naman. When I showed him the design, baka di pa daw ako umabot ng 10k. hehe!

Sa January 2016 pa kami sis. So far, nabook na namin yung place and PV team. sa weekend, kakausapin namin mananahi para makapagbigay ng cost estimate. yung dresses ng entourage ko, sila naman na magshoshoulder. Hehe!

Nakaktuwa sis na you you're having your dream wedding within budget. Sana talaga di kami magexceed like you. Hehe! Ako din lula ako sa budget ng ibang sissies natin dito. But I guess it all depends naman sa preference and of course, financial capacity.

Congrats for having a tight budget like that and so nice of you since nakikita mo talaga na hindi ka lalagpas sa target mo.

Ask ko lang, Ibarra ka rin sabi mo, saang Ibarra ka? I also booked Ibarra's Garden and masyado ngang simple yung place and I wanted also na lumabas yung theme namin without having too much cost for styling. Same as yours, we'll be having a budget wedding only and yes medyo maarte din ako hehe) sa details ng wedding. So kahit budgeted, I want it to be class pa rin in a way na hindi magmukang cheap. 300-350k lang budget namin pero pag nag-e-estimate ako ng expenses, tipid mode na yang 300k, gusto ko pa sana i-lower down, since ang important talaga is our lives after the wedding day.

So what are your plans para mapaganda yung venue and be within the target at the same time? Share mo naman, para makakuha ako ng ideas para makatipid din. Heheh!
