agree with you sis pennypen kala ko mura lang ang range ng P/V... but nope.. 60k ang cheapest na nagustuhan ko ang work.. idagdag pa ang nagmamahalang venues in tagaytay..

Hey girls! Just sharing how we set our wedding budget (the fiance and I just finished this exercise kasi haha):

1) Savings: We forecasted how much we've both saved up by our wedding date (less of course a set % we set aside for our personal accounts). This is pretty much our current savings + how much we can save monthly until the wedding.

2) Expenses: We then planned our monthly expenses. This budget includes realistic estimates for rent (we won't own our own place immediately after the wedding), utilities, food, transport, etc. To be sure we're set after the wedding, we target to have 6 months' worth of expenses saved up after all the wedding spending.

3) Max wedding budget: So to get the max wedding budget: total expected savings by wedding day minus 6 months' worth of monthly expenses. 

4) Budget per supplier: Based on the max wedding budget, we just allocated that across suppliers (based on priority) and we're looking at vendors along that price range 

Super kapagod sya and super tested ang patience namin with each other haha but for me it was all worth it: I'm happy na both of us are aligned with the budget and are assured na we're still secure financially after all the wedding spending

h2b is from Baler. Yes, affordable nga.

6 months to go, naka book na kami sa church, reception and catering.

wala pa ko exact number of guests but i was able to check prices per head na sa catering.
260/pax yung napili ko for 6-main course. Ok n ayun, madami na yun.
yung resort/hotel naman binigay sa akin yung use of function hall - 3,500 for 8 hrs (granted na magbook ako ng 5 rooms). Family ko pa lang occupied na yun. Sila na daw bahala magbayad ng rooms nila. yey!
church is 1,500 - with simple decors na iyon.

i can coordinate naman with caterer if pati church decor ay sila na bahala

I also found a p/v - basic package for 20K (payable in 24months via credit card). Cabanatuan-based. Di ko pa kkino-confirm though, coordinating pa lang.
talked to a bakeshop na din, will have 3-layered cake (design of my choice/personalized) for 5-6K (negotiable)

I won't avail OTD na, naisip ko makipag coordinate na lang sa taga church sino pwede mag assist the entire wedding ceremony (ako na lang bahala magbayad)
Same with reception, will ask for local friend's help para mag decorate/assist/coordinate during the reception(like sa snack bar/cocktail bar) Ako na lang din bahala mag abot sa kanila ng bayad, kahit 1 day worth ng salary nila sa work or more.
For host, I have officemate/friend na laging nag e-emcee pag may event kami, as a gift, sya na lang daw mag host.

*ang mamahal ng nakausap kong OTD. It's just a simple event, not a production number, so hindi ako mag spend ng too much.


For now, estimated expenses ko pa lang are:

church - 1,500
reception - 3,500
catering (80 pax, yes konti lang guest ko max na yan) - 20,800
cake - 5,000

30,800 - might change pa if may dagdag or bawas sa food related expenses. Plus, tawaran portion if needed since local naman si hubby.

Nakaka stress nga yung budget namin eh 120k lang pero mas gusto ko talaga less lang!!
for now naman eto pa lang ang prepared namin:

7,000- church (paid)
31,500-venue/reception
10,000- flowers for church decor & entourage (pero not sure pa po eto baka bili nalang kami sa dangwa a day befor tapos kami nalang gagawa )
25,000-Photo. napagkasunduan namin ni h2b na puro raw shots lang tapos pre-nup and SDE ang i.avail namin kaya napa mura tuloy kami
2,000- budget for my gown
20,000-ring (budget lang sana mas less pa)
Invitation- kami na gagawa


yan palang po haaaaaay malapit na mag april nakaka ngarag na din pero sabi nga ni hubby eh relax lang..mag papakasal nga kami para sumaya hindi para ma stress hehe!

originally 300k budget namin for 100pax sa tagaytay wedding next year. umangat ng 400k. but recently, ang daming nag-vow ng donations hahaha. mga tita na sasagot kunwari ng photobooth, friends na sasagot ng ganito-ganyan without us asking for anything! nakakatuwa kasi nabubura ko na sa excel file namin and lumiliit ng konti yung amount na nakikita ko hehe. and yung mga unang wants ko lang naman (mga candy bar, sushi bar, starbucks booth etc) naoutgrow ko na in a few months. yung mga nice to haves lang naman talaga but because of peer pressure and social media para bang kailangan meron ka din. naks ang mature lang

ngayon keber na ako sa guest souvenir. nakailang attend na ako ng kasal recently at wala naman kaming nauuwi as guests and even as part of the ento. yung photobooth na sasagutin ng iba yung pinakasouvenir ko na lang. dati kasi ang dami kong nakikitang kung anek-anek. hehe! yung dating pangarap ko na strings, nilelet go ko na. kaya naman ng spotify e! lol it helps din na nakakausap mo OTD coord mo kasi mas neutral sila. medyo naaadvise-san ako nicely ni ayie of imbitado events sa mga email convos namin. she's usually like "nice to have lang naman yun, ano?" haha tapos ayun bumebehave na ako

Our overall expenses went 40% over our proposed wedding budget.. but even if that happened we didn't regret it because the guests naman really had a great time and that's all that matters. A lot of them says na para syang reunion of churches coz quiet a number from our guests are head pastors from different churches around manila and some  provinces.. medyo nakulangan pa sila sa cocktail period na almost 2 hrs na nga hahaha!

sis dcpdane, i feel you. i really appreciate it na ang daming ng pledge sa amin ng kung ano ano my sister even wanted to initially pay for my wedding gown pero she said na she's giving us cash na lang ang bahala na kami kung saan namin yun ilalagay. even my Tatay, nag-iipon daw (according to mom) para may maibigay sa amin. natouch talaga ako we didn't ask for anything and our budget was initially computed talaga sa kaya naming gastusin, pero i really appreciate them trying to help us out.

and i have to agree with the giveaways, ayaw pa pumayag ng mga sister ko na wala kaming giveaway and our photobooth is DIY (ipad app) lang, at marami pang ibang tipid moves, pero i'm sure makakalimutan din nila yun haha. especially now that our guest list is ballooning, we really try to cut costs on other stuff.

original budget is 300k, working budget now is 262k. so far so good

for us, our budget is 350k but we are at 355k and that's almost everything - hopefully we won't have to spend much more

Six months to go and we are currently at 94% of our planned budget. Recent efforts in scrimping on minor suppliers (souvenirs, cake, flowers, invitations, emcee, rings) have paid off while we actually got to overspend on the more major suppliers we wanted (sitdown dinner menu, cocktail food, venue, SDE, L&S, prenup video and coordinator were all over the planned budget!)

The remaining 6% will be reserved as a contingency fund for the day itself. Im seeing this will grow a bit bigger once the remaining items are planned out and booked.

Next to plan, honeymoon budget (how much to set aside for a 3-4 week Euro trip?) and home renovation budget (we're moving into a furnished home already but planning to partially renovate little by little)

thanks sis 120515 and sis khalee.. natouch talaga ko sa tatay ko sabi kase ng nanay ko may piggy bank daw si tatay sa room nila and nagiipon daw for my wedding.

sis khalee, we're still trying out different apps na free. so far My Own Booth and Simple Booth yung okay. yung iba kasi (ie Custom Booth) paid, so nagbabasa pa ko ng mga reviews kung worth it ba bilhin, although nasa 10usd na lang naman. ang gusto pa namin i-DIY is yung ring light na gagamitin namin for the photo booth. maraming tutorial sa youtube nakakatuwa manuod.

180K for 70 guests. Planning to have a morning reception for the family members tapos after-party/inuman session for friends sa gabi. So far, mukhang kaya naman. Hehe.

sweet indeed sis belle_v2g, sobrang natouch talaga ako when i knew about it.. nalungkot tuloy ako lalo kasi he wants to invite his friends kaso sobrang limited guests lang kami talaga. nag-isip tuloy kami kung san pa pwede makatipid so we can accommodate his friends.

madami na din kaming losses with our wedding budget, we let go of our DPs sa 2 suppliers na pinalitan namin dahil ayoko na sa kanila lol tapos the new suppliers pa are a bit more steep with their price pero so far kering keri pa. haha! it helps talaga to have my h2b snap me back to reality pag umiiral ang princess complex ko lol. napapaisip na lang ako na onga i don't need that naman.
