Wow hindi pala ako nag iisa! sa amin ang top priorities ay food at L&S talaga. Alcohol din pala taas ng budget namin dun. Lol. And tama ka sis joy89 usually yung mga sikat sa wedding industry hindi ganun kaganda mga gamit. but yun nga kasi kanya kanyang preference yan. Siguro yung iba basta may L&S na decent ok na. Si fiance jazz musician at matalas ang tenga. kaya gusto nya bukod sa magagaling na banda eh magandang maganda ang tunog. FBT Elettronica yung brand nung isang gamit Ng supplier namin. Sya yung pinaka mahal na nag quote sa amin but i told fiance na ok lang mag splurge sa item na yun kasi considered sya as non-nego namin.

Sis joy89 marami rin tumugtog sa wedding nyo? ilang oras yung program? Yung wedding namin sobrang music filled, kaya pati theme namin music!

Sis juwie may FBT rin nung wedding ko, parang yung monitor speakers yata. yung program proper nasa 1hr lang but yung MPO around 20 songs sila during cocktail hour and reception then yung band nasa 1hr din wala na kasi kami nung mga traditional ceremonies. Games konti, a couple of speeches, then cake cutting lang. May first dance but it was spontaneous lang, we did not rehearse.

@joy89 kami rin sis wala na masyadong rituals sa program. music, speeches, food then party na hehe ganda nga talaga ng lights setup mo! I am assuming the sound was equally nice

Hehe thank you again sis. yes it was good kasi pinuri ng musicians namin yung supplier namin e. Di ganun ka-okay yung emcee na nakuha namin because all of our preferred emcees are booked na (mabilis pala Talaga sila ma-book huhu) but Hindi naman naging dull yung program kasi saglit lang sya and more of music lang talaga when is your wedding sis juwie? Excited na ako for you!

Nov 27 sis like your wedding, music-filled din sa amin. Parang concert nga eh may 3 jazz bands, 1 pop band saka isang pop/jazz band na female trio. Tig 2 songs sila except for the female trio na 1 whole set kasi sila yung binayaran namin talaga, special request ko sila kay fiance

Ako naman I don't care much for the ring and the gown. I love outdoor activities kaya naalangan akong magsuot ng mahal na jewelry. Isipin ko pa na baka mahulog o mamisplaced ganyan. Sa gown namin, ewan ko confident lang ata ako na anything okay lang fit sakin. Hahaha.

Iba iba talaga priorities of every couple. Importante walang utang after ng wedding. 😊

Pangit kung magstart ang day 1 ninyo as a married couple na may mga utang.

True nasa inyo talaga kung ano prioritize nyo. ang priority namin P/V. Next is food. Ayan ang non nego samin. wedding gown. Hindi ko to priority. Kasi sa totoo lang hindi ko kaya magsuot ng gown na mahal tapos 1 time ko lang gagamitin. Nasa personality ko din kasi. I never worn dress except pag may occasions na need talaga mag dress. Kaya ang binibili kong dress mura lang kasi once ko lang ginagamit. Ok na ko sa tig 250 na dress. Yung wedding gown ko walang naniniwala na 25k lang. Designer Gown sya at hindi sa divi. Hindi pa nagsisimula ceremony madumi na yung laylayan ng gown ko kaya pasalamat ako mura lang sya kasi kung mahal yun hinayang ako. Sa P/V sulit bayad namin kasi maganda talaga. Sa food naman hindi naman sila nagutom pinuri naman nila.

ako din, wasn't too keen on the gown.. pero kase meron naman na talaga akong ina-eye na gown from the start.. yes it's Vera Wang and yes it only costs me P30K (approx) and yes it's brand new it's off the rack and timing na when I was looking for that gown, naka sale sha! MFEO kami haha Me and my friends laugh about it, everytime namemention na VW ang gown ko.. sounds expensive pero hindi haha. But for the most part, I just really wanted a gown that I can move around in and that will be comfortable in...lalo na when the partying starts

Yes sis friends namin lahat ng banda yung female trio medyo friend lang hahaha. kilala na kasi sila kaya kailangan na namin bayaran. Naka discount naman kami bilang medyo friend na namin sila.

nakakatuwa naman basahin to. its soooo true that bawat bride may kanya kanyang priorities. nung dalaga pa ko, i fantasized of having a beach wedding, simple lang with family and close friends, tapos inuman. but then i had my daughter at 23 years old, hindi pa kami kasal nun. after that nagbago na yung priorities ko. i wanted to have simple civil wedding nalang kasi nanghihinayang ako sa gastusin. but ayaw ni hubby. he said he wanted to say our vows in front of God, sa catholic church daw. (he's a christian and im catholic).

Kahit simpleng simple lang daw. Basta church wedding. So there, we planned everything na mejo tipid. Food lang ang priority namin, and to enjoy with the company of our guests (lahat relatives namin. 10 lang ang common friends namin na invited, mga abay pa sila.) Nag offer din na sumagot ng other expenses yung parents nya (p/v) and yung mom & brothers ko (florist, ring, gown). I had a 30k P/V, 5k gown, 5k rings, and lahat budgeted talaga... So almost half nung expenses, contribution ng family members namin... Then yung half ipon namin. So yun. We were able to pull of an intimate Tagaytay wedding w/ less than 200k. And i am more than happy how everything turned out.

yes sis Chili1113! it's White by Vera Wang there are other designs which has more intricate details for about the same price pero I was really drawn to the gown that I like. And bumagay kase yung gown sa whimsical theme that we're having for the wedding.  It was actually my brother who bought the gown, the girl at the bridal salon asked my kuya to get my measurements just to make sure that the gown would fit.  Pero I wasn't worried din kase im a standard size 4 US. Kung may alterations needed, we have a seamstress that could do it for us.  it's a really simple gown but we will also embellish the belt and neckline with swarovski crystals pero minimal lang I  was just after the design aesthetics of the gown.. Im not so much after a fully beaded bodice


In terms of wedding budget mas pinrioritize namin ni fiance ang venue, p/v, food and the reception program
